My Guardian Angel(72)

I put my fingers up to his lips and stopped him. I knew perfectly well what had happened after that.

“I love you, Jason,” I murmured, as I drew him closer to hold him.

“I love you, too,” he whispered and he eased into my embrace. “So much that I ache at the thought of you.”

Jealousy

“So, you’re telling me your brother is getting hitched?” Genna cried out over the music club. Ginny’s Supper Club was packed like usual. Thank God for Genna and her connections. I loved coming here. The place was right out of the roaring 20s. Most of the time I expected Nucky Thompson or Lucky Luciano to walk right through. “Fuck! He was my go to guy,” she murmured.

“Your what?” I looked at her incredulously.

“You know, the guy you would hook up with eventually when all the guys in Manhattan had enough of me.” She shrugged.

“Ouch!” she cried out as she massaged the shoulder I punched.

“So, I hear Jason’s moving in.” Tara reached for her cocktail and smiled.

“Yeah, he is,” I admitted kind of sheepishly.

We had been together for some time now and we both felt it was a natural progression. I was nervous, there was no doubt about that. I hadn’t ever lived with anyone before and this most certainly would be a first of many things to come with Jason.

“So, what’s he going to do with his gorgeous condo?” Genna asked.

“Lease it out.” I took the bottle of water and chugged it.

“Nervous?” Genna smiled.

“Is it obvious?” I chewed on my lower lip.

“No, not at all,” she said sarcastically. “You look just peachy.”

“Screw you.” I stuck out my tongue.

“Ladies.” Jason’s deep voice made me forget how nervous I was and how much I wanted to take him home and fuck his brains out. “If you don’t mind, I’d like to dance with my girl.”

“Go ahead. Your girl looks like she is about to eat you alive, here and now,” Tara offered, waving her hand at me.

“Now, that I would love to see,” Genna laughed.

“Bitches, be quiet please,” I bit back trying to hold back my laughter.

Jason took my hand and led me to an overcrowded dance floor. He wrapped his arm around my waist and began to dance with me. I loved the way his body felt. I felt the abs underneath his white shirt, even his beautiful sculpted arm muscles felt amazing as he held me close.

“Do you have any idea how mouthwatering you are?” I nuzzled near his ear and slowly nibbled at his lobe.

“I know.” He grinned.

“Oh, so I see, you’re the conceited type,” I mocked.

“Can’t help it, babe, I'm hot. I look hot and I'm sweet. I have the complete package,” his voice dropped a little, I knew I was affecting him. I leisurely licked his ear and then pulled back.

“No! You’re not the complete package. But with me on your arm, you’re close to it,” I laughed.

“You’re such a tease wearing that little skirt of yours and I love you for it,” he growled. “It’s time to go home.” He intertwined our fingers and pulled me off the dance floor. “Sorry ladies, but I have to take her home,” he said as he took my things.

“We saw what she did. You take her home and you make her pay.” Genna acted shocked at my behavior. I laughed. I was barely able to say bye as Jason pulled me through the club.

“Jason!” I screamed as he slapped my butt. He threw me over his shoulders and swung me around outside my home, the home which soon would be his. “I can’t believe you. Put me down already!”

“No.” He smacked me again and I laughed.

“It’s still early! We could have stayed longer with the girls!” I yelled.

“It’s your fault for doing what you did. You started this, now you have to take responsibility for my hard-on,” he said happily. Of course he was happy.

“Kassia?” Jason stood still and I froze. “Kassia? Kassia is that you?” Jason slid me off his shoulder and placed me behind him. “So, I see Ray-Bans and you are back together,” Jeremy said ruefully.

“What are you doing here?” I asked, annoyed that my happy moment was ruined by a douche.

“I wanted to see how you were doing,” he said as he inched closer. Not the smartest idea on his part. Jason shifted as his stance became aggressive. “It’s all good there, Ray-Bans man. I was just passing by and wanted to say hello. But I see now that my presence isn’t welcomed,” he sounded aggrieved.

“It never was welcomed here, Jeremy. Come on, Jason, let’s go.” I took him by the arm and yanked him up the stairs. I knew he never once let Jeremy out of his sight. I unlocked the door and let us in before anything ensued.
