Sexin' My Man's Best Friend(11)

I pulled myself up off the floor and got back into bed. Taylor was  already gone to work. I felt like shit, while I glared at the clock to  see that it was going on nine o'clock. I picked up the house phone and  dialed my doctor's number. He sounded pretty happy to hear from me. He  knew that whenever I called, he was going to be making some money.

"Mrs. Jones it's always great to hear from you. What can I do for you?" he asked cheerfully.

"I'm fine Dr. Matthews but I'm just not feeling well. I've been  nauseated and feeling so tired. I think I'm pregnant but I need the  complete workup. If I am, I need to know how far along. How soon can you  see me?"

He told me he could see me tomorrow at nine in the morning. I agreed and  hung up the phone. I really didn't even need him to confirm it for me  because I knew I was pregnant. I just didn't know how far along I was. I  needed to know so bad so I would know whose baby I was carrying. I  prayed it was Taylor's because if not, that would mean it was Travis'  and that would be all bad. Our affair would be forced out and that was  something I didn't want to happen. If I was more than a month that would  mean it was Travis baby. If I was a month or less, it was Taylor's.

I couldn't believe I was in this situation. I didn't believe in  abortions so I damn sure wasn't going to abort my baby. I would take a  lost and lose my marriage before I did that.

I decided I wasn't going to dwell on it though. Whatever happened, it  was what it was. I just hoped Taylor would understand and forgive me for  this, if it was Travis' baby.

I got out of bed and got myself together. I was dressed in less than an  hour and was out the door. I couldn't stay in the house because I knew I  would wreck my brain thinking about the drama that was to come, should I  be carrying Travis' baby. Our affair would be put on blast and I knew I  would be looked at as the worst person in the world. Taylor's mother  would be furious and it would just give Donnell something else smart to  say about black women, as if white women didn't cheat on their husbands.

I had to admit my biggest fear was how Taylor would react but before I  go thinking about that and stressing myself out, I had to find out how  far along I was because I already knew I was pregnant. I felt the same  way I did now when I was pregnant with Tayla.

I decided to go and see Chantel and her sister Déjà who lived across  town in Beechmont. I felt up to the forty-five minute drive. It was hot  outside and sunny. Chantel had a nice little home in Anderson Township  with a nice little family pool. I always loved going to her home because  even though she could afford much bigger, she didn't. She felt like a  small house felt more like a home than living in a huge mansion like I  did and I actually agreed. I needed somebody to talk to and Chantel was  the person right now. Cynthia was in Washington D.C. with Mike so I  didn't want to bother her.

When I pulled up outside of the brick home, I exited my car. I could  hear what sounded like a bunch of kids playing around in the pool, in  the back yard.

Instead of knocking on the front door, I went around to the back and I  was right. It looked like they were having a pool party. I unlocked the  gate and let myself in. A bunch of kids jumped into the pool at the same  time while holding hands. I slid open the patio door and walked into  the home.

I knew Chantel was in the kitchen so I made my way there. When she saw me she squealed and came to hug me.

"Sundy! Girl, hey! What you doing here?" She held my tightly.

When she released me, I took my seat at the glass kitchen table.

"Just was home bored not knowing what to do with myself," I chuckled.

"I know that's right. These damn kids driving me crazy! You know it's my  lil' cousin Mecca's birthday and she asked to have her party here."

Chantel dumped an entire bag of pizza rolls on a cookie sheet pan and placed them into the oven.

"Girl, I don't see how you can handle all the noise and the mess! Looks  like a pig ran through here!" I looked around the kitchen.

"Who you telling? Girl, I've been cooking since they got here. You ain't  see all that food outside? I woke up making food for them Bae-Baes."

I shook my head. I wanted to tell Chantel about my pregnancy but I knew I  couldn't tell her without adding that it might not be Taylor's, but by  her younger sister Déjà 's ex-boyfriend and my husband's best-friend. I  decided to keep my drama to myself. I'm sure she'll find out like she  always finds out people's business.

I didn't stay long at Chantel's because there were just too many kids there and I couldn't get comfortable.

When I arrived back home, no one was there. I called Marcia and asked  where she had gone with Tayla. She told me they had gone to Kroger's to  pick up a few things for dinner tonight.

When we hung up, I didn't know what else I could do with myself. My mind  began to drift to Travis. I would be lying if I said I wasn't missing  him. I knew Valerie was getting it every night and loving it. I hadn't  heard from Travis since we left the cruise two weeks ago. I looked at my  watch to see that it was five p.m. meaning that Travis was still at  work.

I pulled out my phone, deciding to give him a call just to see how he  was doing. I had to admit that if he was feeling up to a little sex I  would surely take him up on his offer. My pussy started to tingle just  thinking about us getting it on in my Yacht in the wee-hours of the  morning while everyone slept. To me, sleeping with someone you knew you  weren't supposed to be sleeping with is what made it so exciting. The  thrill of getting caught always drove me crazier.

"Yo," Travis said into the phone when he answered after the forth ring.

"Well, hello, stranger. You don't know a sister no more?" I flirted. I wanted to give hints that I missed him.

"What's going on Sundy?" he asked casually.

I didn't like how he responded to my attempt at flirting. He was talking  so casually. I decided to dismiss it for now and try again.

"Nothing much," I dramatically paused for a moment. "I just miss you,  that's all. Wanted to see what you were up to," I admitted.

"Oh. Well, I'm just working, getting this money." There was a brief  pause on his end of the phone. He then chuckled and said, "And you cold  for not letting my boy spend a little something on my wedding.. He  offered but, I knew he was gonna run it by you first and I also knew you  were gonna be on some bullshit about It."

"Sure was on some ‘bullshit' as you call it. . Friend or not, he's still  my husband and I wasn't about to let him spend our money on you and Ms.  Becky over there. You have your own money like you just said; so use  it." I told him coldly.

He scoffed. "Yo, whatever Sundy, but, Taylor said you haven't been feeling good lately. What's up with ya?" Travis asked.

I should've known Taylor was going to tell him I've been sick lately. I  was glad that Taylor hadn't figured out yet about me being pregnant  because if he did, he would most definitely think it's his. I If word  got back to Travis, he would think it was his too. The fact was, I  wasn't going to say anything until the doctor confirmed for me tomorrow  how many months I was.

"Oh, it's nothing. I think I just have a stomach virus, that's all." I lied.

"Oh. Ok. Well, it was nice hearing from you, Sundy. You have a good day."

Before he hung up, I asked to see him. He already knew why. He became  quiet after I asked. I assumed he was thinking hard about it.

"Look, Sundy, I don't think that would be a good idea. Like I told you  on the Yacht, let's just leave it alone. You're married to Taylor and  I'm about to be walking down the aisle soon. Everybody walks away from  this happy."

Even though it was hard to accept, I agreed that maybe he was right.  Though I knew that after tomorrow, some things might be changing.

Since the phone call with Travis didn't go as expected, I rushed up to  my bedroom and broke out Mr. Black. Just hearing Travis voice was enough  to make me wanna have a quickie with me. I was so envious because I  knew Valerie was getting a piece of what I missed so bad and would be  getting it on the regular because he was seriously going to marry her.

I flopped down on my bed and spread my legs as wide as they could go. As  soon as Mr. Black started vibrating on my clit, images of Travis' body  played in my head. I missed those muscles and me gripping his hard ass  as he dug into me. I slowly began to hump my vibrator, fantasizing about  it being Travis. That son-of-a-bitch was really acting like he was over  me and honestly, it kinda hurt me. I knew for a fact that I had deep  feelings for him; a lot more than what I knew he had for me.

At one point, Travis had expressed to me that if I wasn't married to  Taylor he would've married me in a heartbeat. I was everything that he  wanted in a woman. I was smart and pretty, with a banging body and great  sex. Sometimes when Taylor would spend long hours at the office, I  would regret even being married to him and would start to fantasize  about being married to Travis, although Taylor was far richer than  Travis.
