Tempt My Heart(80)
Cutting in Eric asks, “How long until you hear back about the paternity test results?”
“Three days max, but it could be sooner.”
Standing, my father walks over to me resting his hand on my shoulder and giving it a gentle squeeze. “I’m proud of you, Jordon. You’re being very mature about this whole thing, and I’m glad to see Brittan supporting you. Hopefully this will all work out for the best for everyone. I better go see what’s taking those ladies so long with my cake.” He jokes running his fingers through my hair and giving me a loving smile before heading inside the house.
Coming home was exactly what I needed. I feel better now that I’ve talked about all of this with my dad face to face, instead of just over the phone. I don’t think I’ll relax until those results are in my hand. Until then, it’s just a waiting game.
I have to get my head on straight because we have a huge concert tomorrow night. The last thing I want to do is fuck up a performance in my hometown.
Just For You
Brittan
To say the last three days have been stressful would be putting it lightly. Thankfully the concert Friday night went on without a hitch. The crowd was awesome. Jordon and the guys’ opening performance was the best they’ve had since we’ve hit the road. I’m not sure if it was the contagious energy or what, but it was fascinating to watch.
Chicago is definitely proud of Tempting Tomorrow and made it known. As soon as they started playing Goodbye Chicago the crowd went nuts and sang along with them. They ended their performance with that song, and it was a great way to boost the energy of the arena before we went out on stage.
Keeping his word, Jordon had the guys do the cover of Lite ‘Em Up, instantly making my girly parts light on fire. We had some of the most explosive sex that night. I don’t know if it was all the pent up frustration with everything going on but, after partying backstage, Jordon tossed me over his shoulder, and carried me into my dressing room where he rocked me with a few mind blowing orgasms.
Since today is Easter, our management has put us in a hotel for a few nights while we are in Cincinnati. We have a concert Tuesday, so we’ll be spending today and tomorrow just chilling and getting our sound checks all set for our next show.
I don’t think Jordon or I slept at all last night. We’ve been checking the paternity website since late last night. They said the results would be available between two to three days. Last night there was nothing, so anytime today we should have them.
Grabbing two coffee mugs out of the cupboard, I get to work making Jordon and me coffee. He’s lying in the living room of our suite watching Hop and snacking on the chocolate bunny I got him yesterday from the store next door to the hotel. I surprised him with it this morning. He’s a sucker for chocolate, and I thought it would perk up his mood.
He had the same thing in mind because as soon as I gave him his bunny he dug in his suitcase pulling out a big plastic Easter egg full of M&M’s. He was so sweet hand feeding me M&M’s while we laid in bed this morning.
Only thing that will make this morning better is seeing the website say the results are in, and he is not the father of Kinsley’s baby.
With coffee mugs in tow, I make my way into the living room. Jordon makes the world around me stop whenever I first walk into a room and see him. He always looks amazing, and it’s effortless, which makes him the sexiest man on the planet. Right now, he is lying on the couch in nothing but briefs. His morning hair tussled on top of his head is making me practically salivate while looking at him.
I love this man so much. It’s exhilarating letting myself go and feel every wonderful, crazy, and spectacular moment with him. Even in the hard times, I feel that unbreakable connection to him as we band together and fight side by side as one.
Not all couples could get through what we’ve gone through this week, but our love is worth fighting for. I know how fragile life is, so I refuse to waste my time being mad or fighting over something that isn’t worth my time.
Once these results are in, we can go back to being carefree and exploring each state we visit. Paparazzi or not, I don’t care. Let them follow us. I’m done hiding from them. I’ll proudly let the world see I’m happy and as in love with Jordon Valentine, as he is with me.
Setting our mugs on the coffee table, I climb onto the couch beside him, and tuck my legs into his t-shirt I’m wearing. He has his laptop open beside our mugs on the table and its driving me nuts. I want them to hurry up and just let us know yes or no.
Snuggling up beside him, I press a kiss to his bare chest and slowly drag my nails up and down his taut, muscular body, trailing my hands along his delicious deep V. He shivers beneath my touch, and I can’t help but notice the goose bumps that prickle his skin.
