Strictly Taboo(63)
She got up, and Anna realized she had about an hour to get ready. She tried to tame her curly brown hair, but it was harder than it looked. However, she was able to get it to a manageable state, and soon she was dressing up casually for this. It wasn’t really a date, but she wanted to look good for them. It felt right in a way to get dressed up a little bit. After all, they were billionaires.
She was ready just as she heard the knock on the door. When she got up, she walked over to the door, opening it to see both of them. They both had smirks plastered on their faces, and she grew nervous at the way they looked at her. They were friendly, and she wondered how it would work out for them.
“Hey there,” Adrian said.
“Hey. I’m glad to be hanging out with you today,” she replied.
“We are too. So, you ever been to Greenstone mall?” Kenneth asked.
That was the mall that had all the clothes rich people bought. She wanted to go there, but she never had the money to.
“I’ve wanted to go there, but I haven’t,” she admitted.
“Well we’re taking you out there today. We figured we could have a bit of fun with you and get to know you better,” Kenneth explained.
So they wanted to get to know her better? She wondered in what way did they want that. Was she really that interesting and someone that they were determined to get to know better? She reddened as she thought of that, realizing how dirty her mind was going. She wanted to keep it innocent between them for now.
“Well let’s head on out,” she replied.
She locked up and headed to their car, a black sports car that looked brand-new. She sat in the back, with the two of them in front.
“We were going to bring the limo out, but we gave the driver the day off. You okay with sitting back there alone?” Kenneth cooed.
“Yeah. That’s fine,” she replied.
These two had so much money, but they were so real as well. She couldn’t believe that they gave a damn about an awkward girl like her. But in a sense, the two of them weren’t your typical guys either. They were nerdy, cute, and overall really friendly to converse with. She liked that, and while they were in the car, they talked.
“So you sleep okay?” Adrian asked.
“Yeah. It was nice talking with you two though. I haven’t really been that open with anyone ever,” she admitted. She did talk with Estelle a lot, but when it came to just speaking to people and not feeling like there was a wall there, these two were the best.
“Well we’re glad. We don’t want to make you feel awkward or anything. Besides, we’re awkward too,” Adrian replied.
“I get it. So how in the world did you guys become the people that you are today?” she asked. Anna was curious as to how they accumulated their wealth.
“Well, we started a business together back in college, and soon it grew. We never thought it would reach the levels that it did, and soon we were way richer than we expected. But we did start off as normal people, which is different from many of these other guys out there. Some of them have such and ego because they got it from mommy and daddy, but the truth is, we worked hard for it, and that’s why we relate more to regular dudes and girls than anything else,” Kenneth explained.
So they weren’t born rich.
“Wow, that’s impressive. I was shocked when I found out who you two were, but at the same time, it wasn’t a huge deal. I mean, after all it’s not like you guys are totally different from me, which is what I like,” she explained.
“That’s what we dig about you Anna. We know that you’re real, and to be honest, you’re the realest person that we know besides each other. We like that, and we want to continue to be like that,” Kenneth replied.
She felt like she was in heaven when she heard those words. The two of them were so perfect, but at the same time they didn’t rub it in anyone’s face. Rather, they just acted chill, and that’s what mattered.
“Well we’re here. Don’t worry about money or anything, we just want to take you out. You seemed cool, and we consider you a friend,” Adrian said.
Anna was shocked by this. They were also super humble as well. How in the world did she get mixed up with these two? She must have won the lottery or something.
“Thanks. I appreciate it,” she replied.
“Not a problem. We like it when we can spoil girls, especially ones that deserve it,” Adrian replied.
She felt happy when she heard that, but she didn’t pay much attention to that, for soon they were heading on out of there. The mall was bigger than she expected, and the stores were expensive as hell. But that wasn’t the focus of the time that they spent together. Rather, the three of them just sat down and chatted for a bit. A few people looked their way, but they waved at them, an indication to tell them to move the hell on.
