Seduced By The British Billionaire(49)
No matter how cheesy it was, it made her smile. “For your two roses,” she replied, hoping he would question it.
When he backed up to cup her face in his hands, he kissed her. “What do you mean my love?” He cast that Smokey blue eyed look on her, which made her melt further in his arms.
“I mean I’m pregnant, babe, and I felt that you should know.” She nuzzled his neck, feeling his breathing deepen and his heartbeat quicken.
He remained quiet for a few seconds before hugging her tightly. “Every day you make me happier,” he whispered. “It’s not the best of timing but I can deal with that.”
He turned her around, hugging her from behind. He placed his hand on her stomach and rubbed it softly. “I might say I’m rather surprised. I thought we would be married a couple years before having kids. I guess we can do things differently.”
“So you’re okay with this,” she asked, hoping that he wasn’t upset by the sudden obtrusion in their plans.
Planting soft kisses on her neck, he whispered in between them. “As happy as can be. But I say we push the wedding closer so you can wear your dress without any problems. How about next week?”he suggested. “We can pay for any inconveniences to the wedding coordinator we were planning on hiring. No one says no to money.” Amber nodded, turning her head to kiss his sweet mouth. “That would be perfect,” she whispered, kissing deeper until the air grew thick…and everything disappeared…

A week flew by like a drop in a bucket. Everything had to be ready and Sasha played a huge part in gluing everything together. She was, after all, the maid of honor. Amber knew she couldn’t have done everything without her.
When the day came, she stood looking in the mirror with her beautiful sleeveless white dress. It was simple and elegant. She touched her stomach, butterflies plaguing her skin with soft trills.
Sasha finished adjusting the veil for her and stood back. “You’re one gorgeous bride,” she said. “I’m so jealous.”
Melanie nodded her head, standing further in the background adjusting her boobs.
Amber smiled as they walked out in flip flops. She had chosen an aqua blue dress for them to match the ocean. They were beautiful.
As they walked down the guided trail that had been scattered with flower petals, she began to hear the sound of a cello in the distance playing Christina Perry’s A Thousand Years. It was soft, elegant, and perfect.
She arrived behind the arbor draped with yellow roses. They reminded her of summer, their cheerful sunny color beaming down happiness.
Sasha quickly fixed her train, and then winked at her as everyone on the arranged chairs turned to look at the bride’s arrival. There were faces she had never seen before, but perhaps the one she hadn’t expected to see was Jerome’s. She hadn’t invited him. But the scent of Charles’ doing was all in the air. He must have invited him, which also meant he had taken care of the situation a while ago.
Seeing her brother’s face made her smile. He beamed proudly at her all dressed up in his tux. He stood up now to walk towards her. When he came within a few feet of her, he offered her his arm. “Dad’s out being stupid again. I figured you needed someone to give you away,” he said, pride emanating from his dark brown eyes.
Touched deeply by the gesture, she took his arm, then glanced at Charles who was in a complete state of enamor. He stood there waiting for her in magnificent splendor.
The sound of the cello began to play and her bridesmaids walked down the aisle.
Taking a deep breath, Amber looked at the man she loved and the future she would be heading towards. It was time. She stepped readily into the aisle guided by her brother’s strong arm, and filled with joy.
Nothing could ever be so perfect as today.
