Owning It (Metropolis #3)(85)

"Don't worry, Daddy. As long as you take me, we'll be fine."

He crouches and comes at me like he's about to tackle me, but he lifts me in the air, reminding me of just how easy it is for him to have his way with me.

As he carries me to the bedroom, he slaps my ass. Hard. It stings.

And I love it.

"Oh, Daddy."

"Be a good boy or I'll do it again," he warns.

"Then I'm gonna have to be very bad."

He tosses me onto his bed before we help each other out of our clothes. Our movements are so quick and so in sync … and we're so desperate for this … that soon we're naked and he's filling me with that cock, giving me the pleasure I need. The pleasure we both need. Hitting my prostate. Reminding me of what a stupid fuck I was for thinking that I could ever go without this. Not just because of how great it feels to fuck him. I've fucked plenty over the course of my life. But with Jackson, what we share is so much deeper. So much more powerful. And when we come, it still isn't enough because I don't want him out of me. I want him to stay right here inside me.

"Whose ass is this?" he says, squeezing my cheeks.

"Yours … Daddy's … "

"That's right and Daddy belongs to his boy, too."

And I know, that's not the only thing we're owning here, in this moment, but everything-all our shit and how we feel. Each other.

But even though I don't want him to leave my body, I don't have that lingering fear of him leaving me. Not anymore. And that feels so good.

EPILOGUE

Jackson

Three months later

"Hand! Um … finger!" Derek shouts, practically bouncing up and down in his seat. I can't help but laugh at him before rubbing a hand over my chest because every time I look at him it feels so goddamn full I'm afraid it's going to burst.

Zane shakes his head, then rolls his eyes. He holds his hand out, finger pointed again and sort of swoops and tips with it as though he's writing something in the air.

"I haven't had enough Chardonnay for this." Derek picks up his wineglass and swallows the rest of the liquid inside. "Writing in the air. Magic … "

Zane nods his head vigorously, and I know we're fucked.

"We're screwed right now, you know that, right, Jackson?" Steph asks from beside me.

"Yeah, yeah, I do." I know it won't be long until Derek figures out whatever the hell Zane is acting out, and they'll beat us at the third game of Charades in a row.

Lifting his hand, Zane uses his finger to trace something on his forehead.

"Harry Potter!" Derek leaps off the couch just as Zane says, "Fuck yes. We win again."

"We're undefeated, right, Zane?" Derek crosses his arms and pretends to think. "I'm trying to remember, but I'm pretty sure we're undefeated."

"You know … I think you're right. I can't remember though. Let me ask to make sure." Zane looks at his mother, then me. "We're undefeated, right?"

Steph throws a couch pillow at him, which Zane easily catches as I say, "I hate you both."

"Aww. But I love you. You can't hate me just because Zane and I have mad charade skills." Derek moves toward me.

"Mad charade skills? What the fuck does that even mean?" I tease.

Derek gives me that smile that nearly knocks me on my ass every time I see it before walking over and sitting on my lap. I wrap my arms around his waist, and his go around my neck. He leans close and I think he's going to kiss me but instead he says, "Sorry you suck at Charades."

Steph snorts out a laugh from beside me. "Oh, Derek. What did we ever do before you were a member of this family?" She pats his knee and then stands up. "Who wants another drink?"

"Me," I say.

"Same," Derek adds.

"Sure," Zane tries.

"Yeah, right," I tell him. He rolls his eyes and disappears into the bathroom.

It was a little awkward when I first brought Derek around. It was right after we got back together. I didn't want to wait, didn't want to lose any more time. Steph loved him from the start, which I knew she would. They text each other a lot, which is really fucking weird and he also cut her hair for her. Zane was a little slower to come around but not much. The first couple of times he was quiet, kept to himself, but Derek won him over like he does with everyone who meets him.

Obviously, they're close enough to team up at Charades and kick our asses.

"Do you still hate me?" Derek buries his face in my neck and whispers, "I'll blow you on the way home. It'll be my treat for winning."
