Lilly's Torment(42)

"Almost," he said, or maybe he just mouthed it. With the roaring in her  ears she couldn't be sure one way or another. Her whole body clenched as  Artaxias slid his tongue over her jugular. When he did it again, a rush  of liquid left her body. Gavriel kept her face tipped just so, exposing  her throat and keeping their eye contact. Then it happened. They both  slammed their cocks deep into her body. Ax bit through her flesh, a  slow, heated slide of sharp teeth, and they came, hot seed splashing up  into her body, pussy and ass. A sizzle of connection snapped between her  and Gavriel, his eyes changing color and seemingly starting to swirl.

Lilly was lost in Gavriel's eyes, and the hypnotic effect of having him  looking at her with his magic swirling in his eyes had her coming. Her  orgasm hit her fast. It hit her hard. She screamed, her vision wavering  as she came hard. Her vision blurred, darkened around the edges, and she  felt them then. She felt them both inside of her body, but it wasn't  just her pussy and ass, it was in her soul as well.

Both men jolted, Artaxias letting out a feral-sounding growl as their  cocks seemed to swell a bit and more semen spilled into her quivering  body. They were holding her close, stroking her, easing her down from  the edge of the abyss they'd flown into. In the next moment, she felt Ax  slip his fangs from her throat. His tongue slid over her neck in  soothing motions and, she'd swear, he was purring. Or something that  sounded a hell of a lot like it.

Lilly collapsed hard against Gavriel and panted. She couldn't breathe,  she couldn't talk, so she just felt. And goodness did it ever feel  amazing. She sighed happily. Finally when she could speak she whispered,  "Goodness, that was, wow."

She didn't know who chuckled. With their connection, she felt it through  her entire body. "It's supposed to be," Gavriel said. He was stroking  her hair gently, slowly.

"Will it feel like that again?" she asked with a small yawn. "Feel that  intense? Or was this a one-time kinda thing? I mean, I'm really hoping  for intense again because it was amazing, but I'm kinda hoping not for  it because, holy crap, you boys nearly blew my head off." And she loved  it.

"It likely won't be nearly as explosive," Gav told her quietly. "Since  that whole bonding thing is once in a lifetime. But I'm betting any  loving with you will be rather intense and insane. We'll have to try it  again, when we can actually move, just to be sure."

Lilly smiled a crooked smile and nodded. "After we've had showers and  sleep and food. Maybe not in that order, but you know what I mean." She  turned to look at Artaxias. "Are you okay?" she asked quietly. "You are  very quiet."

Nodding he pressed a kiss to her cheek. "I'm fine," he murmured. He  sounded half-asleep and looked it, too. "Blood from a live vein is a  little like warm milk for Vhampires. Especially if it's not something we  do it all the time," he explained with a crooked grin. "Very relaxing."

"Ahh." Lilly smiled and shrugged. "Good thing that you have someone  who's willing to give you a live vein anytime you want it then, huh? I  happen to really love the idea of you taking from me, often."

The men shared a look over her, one she couldn't quite decipher. Before  she could ask, though, Artaxias nipped her jaw. "We'll discuss it." It  was all he said. Hmm, that didn't sound promising. Then he nuzzled at  her throat and she could only shiver. "Lilly, you should sleep, darling.  Your body needs to recover, not hunger for more right now. If we go  another round without a nap, you're going to be sorely pressed to walk  at all tomorrow."

"Good point." She didn't move, though. She cuddled in a little closer to  them and sighed. "All right, sleep time." She yawned then, she couldn't  help herself. "Because I'm exhausted." Another yawn. "Who's going to  hug me in the front tonight?"

"Whomever you wish," he said, pressing another kiss to her neck. "Just  consider how much you feel like moving right now and decide before I  fall asleep, darling. Because once I'm out, it pretty much takes a  nuclear explosion to wake me up."

"It's true," Gavriel chuckled. "Vhampires may not be the undead, but  give them a full belly of warm blood and they are deader than dead."

"Well then, I'm perfectly happy curled up where I am," Lilly said with a  yawn. "Goodnight to you both. Keep me warm?" As if she had to ask! When  Gavriel curved his body to her back, she sighed happily. "This is how  the rest of forever should be," she whispered before dropping off to  sleep.

Chapter Twelve

"Good morning." Artaxias handed her a cup of coffee as she shuffled  toward him. He leaned in and kissed her gently, smiling against her lips  when she leaned into him. Chuckling, he lifted his head. "You should  try opening your eyes in the morning. It makes things easier to see. And  if you're still tired, why aren't you in bed with Gavriel, darling?"

"Because he pushed me out of the bed." Lilly grumbled and moved to wrap  an arm around Artaxias's waist, and leaned into him. Yawning, she rubbed  her cheek to his and sighed happily. "We have got to do something about  him and how much he moves around, or I am not going to get to sleep in  very often."

"Well, considering you two were in my bed and it's the largest there is,  you may just need to strap yourself in." He was laughing at her, she  could feel it against her body. But he wrapped her in his arms, so she  didn't care. "Or you could get up at an hour that normal people rise at  and avoid it entirely. With that being said, if you get up with me you  could spend an hour or two every day snuggled up on the sofa while I  read the paper and have coffee."

"Oh, I love how you think." She would have extra time with Ax and that  was very nice indeed. "And what do you mean, a decent time? What time is  it?" She didn't think it was past seven a.m., if even that.

"It's nine twenty-three," he told her. When she jolted back to stare at  him, he grinned. "I was up at eight, and only that late because I didn't  really want to pry myself from your arms. But I needed to feed and I  was awake, so I figured I might as well."

"Oh wow," she whispered and shook her head. "I never sleep that late."  Holy crap, she must have really been exhausted last night. A grin  caressed her face and she said, "I really think that from now on, you  should pull me out of bed with you. Shower together, you know, the  little things in life."

"And let Gav flop around until he drags himself out?" He nodded at the  idea and tipped his head. "I can do that, but the first time you snarl  at me, I'm leaving you there to be shoved out of bed by floppy. Though,  if you poke him in the ribs he will curl up into himself."

That had her grinning, but she shook her head. "It's all good. I'm  actually not horrid with mornings." Was she all chipper Molly Sunshine?  Hell no, but she could do mornings. Pretty much. "Besides, if I have you  pulling me out of bed that would be a good time."

"It will be, and I even promise caffeine. I usually set the timer so  it's always ready to go. Only day I don't do it is on that  so-rare-you-barely-see-it day off. Which I've only ever had three of  since working with this group. Which is actually kind of depressing." He  frowned. "I used to get more days off babysitting Gav. How the hell  does that work?" Ax scratched the back of his head, looking confused.

"Well, now you can take days off babysitting me." Sad, but true. Sad  that she had to have a babysitter right now, but it was so true. "And  don't we have a week or something like that after our bonding to ensure  that it takes or whatever?"

"It takes the first time. It's so that we can get naked whenever we want  without scaring off the humans at the office. And yes, it starts  tomorrow. Today I have to go to the office and do the reports about  finding you and the rescue."

"Well, fudge nuggets," she muttered. "I guess I need to come in as well  so that I can file mine." Lilly hated paperwork. With a passion. She  would much rather be tinkering or making a new toy instead of doing  paperwork. "Maybe while we are there, we should see if the tattoos still  affect me?"

"You don't have to come in if you don't feel up to it, darling," he said  softly. "I can do all the paperwork and then you can sign off on it  when you are feeling more like going in." He was watching her closely,  but his expression was softer, worry clear in his eyes.
