George wasn't even pretending not to listen. He was checking figures, chuckling away.

"Oh, one more thing," Adam said, adjusting Peggy so he could reach  across the table to tap the paper in front of George. "Put the house in  Jane's name. She's always wanted a home. All I need is her heart."
