He looked down at her. “No. But we can swing by there on our way to where we’re staying tonight. Before we head home to Hope Falls.”

Her smile was dazzling and she rose on her tiptoes to press a kiss against his lips.

When she pulled back, she asked, “You really feel like you can leave Sapphire Falls?”

He nodded. “Kyle can be a jackass but he’s a very talented doctor. They’re in good hands.”

“But we’re staying for a few days, right? I want to get to know Sapphire Falls and your friends and family. I want to see the gazebo and the hot-chocolate stand and the diner.”

“Sure.” Jason didn’t think he’d ever been happier. “And if it feels like I’m pushing you to drink a lot of water while we’re here, just go with it.”

She laughed and hugged him again. “Okay, but just remember, we were in Hope Falls when I fell in love with you.

Jason kissed her again.

Hope and falling. There had never been a more perfectly named town in his opinion.
