Viper slipped free of Hope sooner than he would've liked. His father storming in had been a bit like a bucket of cold water tossed over him.
"Are you okay while I go find out why my sire is here?"
"Yes, I'm gonna shower and try to go to sleep." Hope replied as he pulled on his pants and headed towards the door.
Viper gave Hope one last heated look before he left.
"Damn I don't want to leave her, not when things are going so well." Viper grumbled as he headed down the corridor.
The image of Hope riding his shaft made Viper get stiff all over again. Regardless of his sire's apparent disapproval, she could mount him any day!
Viper walked into his sire's quarters to find Adder sitting on the sofa, reviewing his tablet. He looked up and laid it aside, then gestured for Viper to sit. He looked serious.
"You mind explaining what all that was Viper."
Viper coughed into his hand.
"Well I told you about how Hope was treated for our mating. I promised I wouldn't touch her without her further consent. I didn't think I could control myself. Hope decided that well..." His voice trailed off. Viper felt like he was being scolded, which was amusing since he was more than full grown. "Father human females are not like ours. She is outspoken and aggressive despite her small stature."
"So you let her bind you. What if she intended to harm you in retribution?"
"It was a thought, but her scent said the opposite."
Adder nodded then shook his head in amusement.
"My filius let a female mount him." Adder said in disbelief as if he'd caught him wearing female clothing or something.
Viper was a bit aggravated. Granted it wasn't the way Anguis went about relations, but Hope was vastly different from their females. Adder had no clue.
"It was glorious!" Viper replied. "And she doesn't have fangs." Viper said as he glanced down at his crotch.
Viper was shocked by the admission that burst out of his mouth. For some reason he couldn't seem to keep it pent up inside. Viper was elated that Hope had welcomed him back into her arms. He wanted to shout it out from a mountain top. Surely that kind of pleasure was forbidden. Just the thought of her mouth on him had Viper's shaft straining in his pants.
Adder's eyes widened for the second time that evening then he burst into hearty laughter.
"Don't take this the wrong way my boy, but her pale curvy ass was quite a sight to be greeted with when I entered your room."
Instead of growling Viper looked up to see his mother enter the room.
"Sire you are busted!"
"What's he busted for? And why are you two carrying on at this hour like a bunch of young boys?" Viper's mother, Hyla, asked with her hand on her hip.
"I walked in on our filius with his subeo."
"Why's that so funny? Oh. Adder!" She scowled at Adder with admonishment. "I thought she had rejected you?"
"We're figuring it out. Hope's human, so it's complicated."
"We can over look the fact that she's foreign, albeit it's a shock. I was just so upset at the thought of your subeo rejecting you. It broke my hearts." Viper's mother wrapped her arms around him.
"Apparently having a foreign mate has its benefits." Adder winked at Viper.
"It's good to see you both, but please tell me you didn't disturb me this late at night to make fun." Viper asked his sire as Hyla kissed Viper's forehead.
"I'll let your father fill you in and I'll see you and your new mate in the morning. Don't be too late." Hyla patted Viper before heading back to the bedroom.
Viper really tried to ignore the look his mother gave Adder, and the fact his father reciprocated it as she sashayed back to bed.
"Ugh."
When Viper finally had Adder's attention again he continued with the business that brought him to the ship.
"Things have hit a snag with the new human colony. The inhabitants of Anguis Minor have raised some concerns about sharing the planet. And of course the inhabitants on Anguis Prime have also expressed concern about the close proximity."
"They understand these concessions were made in part because the planet conditions accommodate the human refugees needs, but they are also my subeo's people."
"Yes it has been released to the news networks but there are always the various factions making waves. The Purist groups are having a heyday with this." Adder related.
Viper shook his head. How quickly people forgot their own precarious position and the fact that not that long ago they'd suffered a similar blow, but had been lucky. It shamed Viper that his own people would be so unwelcoming.
"I understand resources are limited but we are more than capable, and our allies have pledged their support." Viper stated.
