When Hope realized they were trapped in their current state, it was comical. Her laugh was a sweet melody. Viper was too content, damn near ecstatic, to even be worried about their predicament, his arms could go numb for all he cared at the moment.

Sure enough the second the thought crossed his mind the door chimed.

"Do you think we can ignore it?" Hope asked with her head pressed to his chest.

Viper would've said yes except the chirp persisted.

"Grrr, Speak." He hollered out.

"Oh god Viper that tickles." Hope exclaimed when he rumbled, she squirmed on top of him eliciting a twinge of pleasure that arced up his spine.

"Viper you are needed in the Ready Room." Ophidian spoke through the door comm.

"I'm a little tied up at the moment." Viper replied.

Hope snorted as she smacked his chest.

"Don't tell him!" She squeaked.

No female had ever slapped him. Hope's aggressive nature was a turn on, a fact that shocked Viper.

"Don't tell me what?" Ophidian asked.

"Shit he heard me." Hope whispered with a giggle.

"Viper we have a bit of a situation that requires your attention." Ophidian said with agitation.

"Well its going to be a bit before I'm able to deal with any business."

"Are you okay, what is going on?" Ophidian asked

"I'm newly mated figure it out!" Viper yelled.

Even if he hadn't been tied to the bed, he wouldn't have been capable of handling whatever situation Ophidian felt warranted this interruption.

"Shit." Viper heard his friend say.

Less than a minute later there was banging on the door.

"Come on my lazy filius, get up we've got a problem."

"Shit that's my sire!" Viper said to Hope.

Why the hell was he on the ship? They weren't set to meet him till they landed tomorrow afternoon.

"Your father's out there!" Hope said with panic in her voice.

The door started to open and Viper realized his father had used his security override.

"Fuck me!"

The tall imposing figure of his father stepped into their suite then stopped when he saw Viper and Hope on the bed.

Ophidian choked behind him in the doorway.

Adder's eyes widened larger than he'd ever seen them, and Viper groaned.

Hope didn't even have a chance to pull a blanket over her, since they were trapped beneath them, so she hid her face in Vipers chest. Viper was sure they made for quite a sight.

"I thought your mating was..." Adder stopped mid sentence. Viper knew his sire thought Hope had rejected him because that's what he thought and had told him so. "Why are you MANACLED and why has your subeo mounted YOU?!" Adder said in shock mixed with a bit of anger.

"Cause he's been a bad boy and needed to be punished!" Hope said cheekily then tucked her face back against his chest.

Ophidian choked on a laugh while Adder's mouth fell open.

Viper had to repress the smile that tickled the corners of his mouth.

"My female is wicked." He thought to himself.

"Apparently" Adder raised one brow. "Well when you are able, come to my quarters."

"Sire before you leave do you mind passing us the keys." Viper nodded his head towards the side table.

His father smiled for the first time this evening, grabbed the keys and placed them on Viper's chest, in front of Hope's face.

"Honor to meet you Uxorem." Adder said taking leisurely note of Hope, draped nude across Viper's body.

Viper almost growled at his father which was not done, he was Rex of Anguis after all.

Adder's eyebrow rose in censure, then he left the room.

"Shit!"

"That's not how I planned on meeting your family!" Hope looked up at Viper with bright red cheeks as she grabbed the keys.

Viper shifted so she could reach his wrists. He being so tall and Hope so petite, combined with the fact that they were still intimately entwined, made unlocking the cuffs an acrobatic event.

Hope giggled and Viper was glad she was taking the visit from his sire so well given the circumstances. Any other female would've been a mess. Of course any other female wouldn't have mounted him, like the goddess Hope was.

Viper flexed his arms letting the blood flow return then wrapped them around his warm little subeo. He reveled in the fact that she snuggled into him.

"My father can be a bit serious but he's a good male and a good leader." Viper reassured her.

Viper really wasn't sure what Adder would say to him later, but Hope needn't worry.

"Yeah, I'm really looking forward to meeting your mother. Let me know ahead of time so I can make sure to take every stitch of clothing off. We don't want her to feel left out!" Hope replied sarcastically.

Viper chuckled at her flippant yet good nature'd humor then they both groaned as if vibrated his shaft.
