Undone by Her Two Masters(24)

Bronx laughed and York almost choked. “Remind me to show the where the gears are real soon. Now, are you ready to see us in our transformed shapes?” said Bronx.

“Yes, please.” Nevis stopped getting dressed and watched them. She was very curious about what they’d looked like. She expected Bronx to be big with dark fur, but York had dark hair, too. He wasn’t tanned like Bronx though, and there was no gray in his short, curly hair.

Bronx picked up his jeans and handed her the keys to the truck, then both men shimmered and were gone. Instead there were two black wolves standing before her. Realistically they both looked too big to be dogs, but she supposed they could be some large breed. Excerpt that their paws really were big for full-grown animals. They weren’t puppies to be still growing into their paw size. Bronx had flecks of gray in his coat as well. Not a lot, but she could see some. York’s coat wasn’t curly, like his hair, but his fur was shorter than Bronx’s and his tail less fluffy. He wasn’t as tall as Bronx either but he was still big enough to frighten people.

“Be nice. Don’t scare people. Pretend to be cute friendly puppies,” she said. Nevis walked to the rear of the truck and opened the door, jumping down and waiting for the wolves to join her. The truck door was damn heavy for her to shut by herself, but once she stood on the bar that was used to hitch a second truck behind Animal, she could put a lot more force into her swing and she shut it successfully.

She beeped the rig locked then walked back toward the restrooms. Bronx had deliberately parked well away from them for privacy, so the two wolves had a bit of a run and a play on their way through the parking area. They chased each other, and she wondered if they really wanted to get rid of some energy, or if they were just happy to be in the shape-shifted form. Or perhaps they were pretending to be puppies, as she’d said.

There was no one in the restrooms when she arrived, so she took the farthest shower cubicle and the men sat down at the door waiting for her. Bronx even had part of his body under the door on her side of the shower. She wondered if he did it to make himself look smaller, or because he wanted to watch her shower.

She washed herself quickly, remembering the erotic showers she’d shared with the men, but now was not the time to try any of those tactics. She toweled her hair dry, then got dressed, before combing her hair and collecting her belongings. Bronx scrambled backward out from under the door when she was ready, so she could open it. They made their way out of the building then the wolves ran ahead of her into the scrubby bushes lining the truck stop. She stood and watched them play, loving the way they interacted with each other, and took turns at jumping and chasing each other.

Back at the big rig she beeped the vehicle again, then opened the door for the wolves to enter. She left it ajar just the tiniest bit, and looked around. It was almost dark and the diner was a blaze of neon lights. The restroom lighting was on as well, and a couple of large overhead lights scattered throughout the parking area. There were half a dozen trucks parked close to the diner, and Nevis’s stomach rumbled. As soon as the men came out they’d go eat. Bronx always seemed to be hungry and lately, she was hungry a lot, too. It must be all the excellent sex she was getting. Hmm, sex. I wonder if we’ll make love again after dinner. I wouldn’t mind fucking in our bed on the floor next time. And tomorrow Bronx will have his toys. Oh yes. A BDSM scene is just what I need. That will be truly awesome.

Chapter Five

Bronx gave York a driving lesson first thing the next morning. York sat in the driver’s seat and he sat in the middle, close enough to grab the wheel—he hoped—if anything went wrong. York was experienced at driving manual transmissions, so Bronx figured he’d understand the clutch and gears fast enough.

“Listen to the engine. Hear it telling you to change gear? Now. Now!”

He was almost certain Nevis was giggling in the window seat, but after a while York was changing gears just fine, with only the occasional grinding noise. He certainly maneuvered the truck properly, having no trouble changing lanes on the road.

York drove all the way to Bronx’s home, and then the three of them had to pack everything up. Fortunately he’d had the good sense to buy a lot of storage boxes from the company where Nevis’s possessions had been stored. He didn’t have quite enough, but Nevis unpacked a few boxes that had a whole lot of little things in them, and dumped the small items into pillowcases, which helped.

Then they cleaned his apartment thoroughly so he could get his deposit back. By that time they were all filthy and exhausted.
