Rebecca’s Wolves(53)
She grinned. “Nope.” She glanced around. “I was promised coffee.”
Griffen sat in the chair on the other side, and he wrapped a hand around her neck and forced her to lean back so he too could kiss her in an upside down lopsided maneuver. “Now you can have coffee.” He handed her a cup as Miles pulled her upright in his lap.
The first scent made her toes curl. She needed the caffeine, and she needed it now. Plus, they’d already added cream and sugar, just the way she liked it.
Thank God it wasn’t too hot. She would have risked burning herself to guzzle the first few sips.
“Now what?” she asked when she could finally be coherent.
“Now we go for that run you missed out on yesterday,” Griffen said.
“We?” She twisted to raise an eyebrow at him.
“Yep.” He smirked.
“Think you can keep up, tough guy?”
He leaned his head back and laughed. He was gorgeous when he let go like that.
She had to glance away to keep from getting horny. No way could she spend another entire day in bed.
Not that it wasn’t pleasant.
Miles squeezed her middle and whispered into the air. “Gotta learn to block your thoughts soon, love, or you’ll be spending all day and all night on your back.”
She sucked in a breath, squirmed her way off his lap, and padded back into the house. Another round of sex this morning was not an option.

Griffen lay on the bed—or sprawled was more like it. She had indeed tried to kill him. He would give her that. The woman could keep a wicked pace when she put her mind to it.
He’d been confident he could run fifteen miles, but she held a nearly eight-minute pace, chuckling at him the entire time. In wolf form, he would have left her in the dust, but as a human she put him to the task.
And then his fitness-crazed mate had lifted weights in Miles’ spare bedroom. Figured the man had nearly an entire gym in the small room. He said he didn’t like to drive to the fitness center, so he made do at home.
Rebecca came out of the bathroom, a towel wrapped around her head and another one around her body. She was still giggling as Griffen hauled himself up on one elbow to stare at her. “Admit defeat?”
“Never.” He smiled though, loving the banter.
When she pulled the towel away from her head, her long gorgeous hair fell free.
“It must take half the day for that to dry.”
“Yep.” She leaned over her backpack and grabbed her brush. “I need to get it cut. I just haven’t worked up the nerve yet.”
Miles wandered in at that precise moment. “Did I hear something about scissors?” He lifted one brow and then continued, “’Cause, no.”
She shot him a shocked expression. “Pardon?”
He came to her, wrapped his arms around her middle, pinning her to his front, and clasped her chin in one hand. “Sexiest hair I’ve ever seen. It may be a pain in my ass when I can’t breathe because it’s choking me in the night, but please don’t cut it.”
“You shitting me?”
He shook his head, releasing hers to run his fingers down the length. “No.”
Griffen had to agree. “He’s right, baby. It’s gorgeous. Makes me hard just looking at it from here.”
She shot him a glare and rolled her eyes. “All the more reason.” But there was a smile at the edge of her mouth.
“We agreed?” Miles asked.
She turned back to face him. “Mmm.”
He grabbed the edge of her towel and gave it a sharp yank, leaving her naked in the middle of the room.
Rebecca gasped and reached out to snag the towel from him, her amazing tits swaying as she tried to get purchase.
“We agreed?” he asked again.
Griffen couldn’t say a word. He was mesmerized by her body.
She finally gave up the quest and dipped down to grab some clothes from her bag.
“Oh no you don’t.” Miles wrapped his arm around her waist and hauled her back against his front. He pinned her tight, one arm around her center, the other roaming down to her thigh. He even spun to face Griffen.
When he pushed one knee out, spreading her legs, and stroked his other hand through her pussy, she moaned.
“We agreed?” he whispered.
She gave up the fight and nodded. “Yes.”
“Don’t cut an inch of it.”
“Okay.” Her voice was lower now, filled with arousal. “If it means that much to you.”
“It means that much to me.” His lips hit her neck, her wet hair hanging to the other side.
Griffen watched as Miles continued to tease her sweet spot. He couldn’t move. The show was too amazing. He wanted to watch her come undone.
And that’s exactly what he got.
