Under Fire (Love Over Duty #1)(96)
Louisa widened her stance, and he stood to his full height behind her. She looked at him in the mirror, all of her hair up and off her face, offering him the double benefit of seeing those beautiful eyes of hers and giving him something to hold on to once he began to fuck her in earnest.
"Six," she breathed as he slid his fingers into her gently and scissored as he pulled them out. Her hips rolled against his hand, searching for what he was going to give her. She took a step away from the table and arched her back, which gave him the most fantastic view down the front of her dress. He could see the white lace he'd bought her that he knew she wore just for him. While he was away, she'd reverted back to her simple cotton underwear, which he was coming to love just as much as the silk and satin he enjoyed stripping her out of.
In fact, there were lots of things they tried together. Some worked, some didn't. But the simple truth that they were in it together, to grow together, was all he needed.
He shucked his shorts and T-shirt so he was naked. It was hot, with her still clothed and him not, and Lou grinned in response.
"Keep your hands right where they are," he said as she went to hand him the condom, and she stuck her tongue out at him playfully.
Louisa wiggled her hips and straightened her legs, giving him a view guaranteed to make any man hard in zero point five seconds. Quickly, he ripped open the condom and slid it on.
"Hold still, sweetie, just for a minute," he said as he lined himself up against her.
He groaned as he felt her tightening against him. It was crass, but she really did have the sweetest pussy on the earth. She was wet, and warm, and most importantly, she was waiting for him with eyes so hungry they would have devoured him if they could. He looked down at her hands, her knuckles white as she gripped the edge of the table.
Pressing his nose to the side of her neck, he inhaled deeply. She smelled faintly of lavender, and it made him smile. Before he left for an away mission, Lou took the time to spritz the T-shirt he took with him to sleep in. It was an odd thing, but to slip into it on that first night away and smell her was just the boost he needed to get on with the work he was there to do.
He eased farther into her and watched the way her mouth formed a small "o" when he was pressed deep against her.
"Shit, Lou," he said, holding on to her hips as he slowly pulled out. God, he loved that view. He watched his dick, coated in her wetness, and wished he'd taken a moment to taste her. But he was a greedy man, and there would be time for finessing later. Easing back in, faster this time, he wrapped his hand in her ponytail. It had surprised him when it had been one of the things that worked. Careful never to pull so it hurt, he loved the feel of her hair wrapped around his hand.
"Please," she cried. "Faster."
Her wish. His command.
"Like this?" he said, speeding the pulse of his hips and savoring the way she began to tighten around him.
"Yes. Just like that," she said, keeping her eyes focused on him.
Dear God. She was going to kill him.
With one hand on her hip, the other wrapped tightly in her hair, and his eyes on the two of them in the mirror, the telltale tightening of his core warned him he was going to come soon. He stepped his legs a little wider, changing the angle, and Louisa gasped.
"Oh, please. Yes," she said, her movements changing from smooth and controlled to jerky, as they always did when she came. He loved to make her lose control that way.
When she clamped down around him, he was lost. His balls tightened, as did his abs, as he pressed down on her hips and came deep inside her.
"Lou," he cried out, moving back and forth, working every ounce of sensation from his body.
He fell forward, leaving a trail of kisses along her shoulder blades. "I love this mirror, Lou."
Lou laughed. "Well, it's going to be here for a really long time."
"Good. Because I intend to take you in front of it often. I love you, Lou."
She turned her head and he kissed her deeply, softly, at peace with her, his life, and where he was going.
"I love you, too," she replied.
He slipped out of her and dealt with the condom while she hurried along to clean up. Part of him wanted to join her, but part of him knew they'd never make it over to Mac's for dinner if he did.
Life had never looked better, although they were both busier than ever. He'd had his final session with his therapist before he'd left on this job. It had taken months to pull apart everything he thought he knew about himself and war. And Louisa had been there every step of the way, even as she'd busied herself establishing True North Industries, her own research laboratory. And they were still unraveling everything to do with Vasilii.
