The Taste of Blood(4)

By:Jenika Snow

“We are most pleased you have made it to our home safely.” The powerful one spoke. His voice was deep, almost husky in cadence. “What is your name?” I picked up on a subtle accent, but I couldn’t place where it was from.

“Jane.” It wasn’t my real name. It was just easier to be someone else when I was with a client. That was, of course, what I kept repeating in my head as my pussy became wet and my nipples beaded up.

“So…” I cleared my throat and licked my lips. It was clear these boys had other things in mind if their raging erections were anything to go by. They might be paying me a small fortune for my time, but I was running the show and I would decide how far I wanted to take this party.

“Would you care for something to drink?” The leader spoke again, his fangs flashing when the firelight hit them. He continued to appear expressionless, stoic in all his mannerisms. I nodded and watched as he made his way toward the bar. “I am Mikael, and these are my brothers, Eli, Jonah, and Benjamin.” His back was to me as he spoke but I could still see him pour me a glass of amber colored liquid. He turned around, glass in hand. “Please, make yourself comfortable.” He gestured to the couch and moved toward me. He handed me the square cut glass and I took it with reservations.

“What exactly are your plans for this evening?” Their hard-ons were affirmation enough as to what they wanted, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they truly only wanted me here as eye candy. I also reminded myself that men got hard at the drop of a hat and it didn’t necessarily mean anything. I cleared my throat and took a sip of the liquor, hoping it would wet my dry palate. When the alcohol made its way down, I sputtered. I glanced at the men and wiped my chin. “Strong.” I wheezed and they all smiled at me. Mikael took the glass and set it on the mantel.

“My apologies.” He took a seat in front of me on the opposite couch. His brothers walked around until they were standing in a loose line right behind him. It was now painfully obvious Mikael ran the show.

“So, what would you boys like to do tonight?” I asked again, making myself sound confident and not at all scared shitless. The power and aura that these four men, four vampires, had over me was astoundingly intense. He didn’t answer for what seemed like the longest time. They were all staring at my body with heated expressions, looks that had my body reacting almost violently. I hadn’t signed up for a fuck fest, but I wasn’t going to lie, I would bend over and grab my ankles if they asked me to.

“What did you have in mind?” The one named Eli spoke, his accent sounding thicker than Mikael’s.

“I’m not running the show tonight, boys.” It was a small lie, because I knew I was. I could walk out and leave if I wanted to. George knew where I was, so if I turned up missing, it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise. I made sure to make eye contact with each one because that's what a good escort did—made their client feel wanted, desired, lusted after.

“We planned on just staying home for a quiet evening, admiring a pretty female, but we didn’t realize how pretty that female would be.” Mikhael smiled briefly. “You see, we don’t get many visitors.” He was very good at hiding his fangs.

I wouldn’t think so. Not when your canines could tear someone’s jugular open like a rabid animal. They definitely spoke like they were from another era, which in their case was probably the truth. “That’s a shame.” I glanced around at the crown molding and marble that decorated the room. “You have a beautiful home.”

Mikhael shrugged as if he could care less about the place. “It suits us for right now.” He flicked his hand behind him and one of the brothers opened the cabinet and turned on a stereo. Beautiful classical music played around me and I let it absorb in my senses. I felt something smooth and cool touch my shoulder. I gasped and turned to stare into Jonah’s stormy expression. I hadn’t even seen him move. He held out a champagne flute with sparkling yellow liquid inside.

“Thank you.” I brought the glass to my lips. The chilled fruity alcohol slid across my palate and down my throat. It tasted exquisite, certainly nothing like the fire water I had tasted just moments earlier.

Before I knew it, I had consumed three glasses of champagne and several hours had passed. I was starting to feel the effect from the alcohol and embraced it. It had been quite a while since I had gotten buzzed and it felt good. Everything these men said had me giggling like a school girl. They were charming, eloquent, and true gentlemen. The more we talked, the more I realized each had their own unique personality. Jonah was more of the easy going brother, actually teasing me on more than one occasion. Benjamin was the quietest, only speaking when I asked him a direct question. Eli and Mikael were the hardest to read, both of them keeping their expressions stoic. I had been able to get a few smiles out of Eli, but Mikael was like a rock, hard to read and immovable.
