They stood there as the trembles rolled through them, Xanther had beads of sweat on his forehead and his eyes shut tight as he slowed his movements drifting down from his orgasm. Lucy slowly sat up and put her arms around his neck as he pulled her into a tender kiss.
"Oh my god woman you are something special" he said with his curled lip smile.
Lucy smiled and batted her eye lashes at him, which brought a wider smile from him as he shook his head slightly.
"Oh baby you keep that up and we are not going to be eating" he laughed.
Lucy grinned as she released her legs from Xanther's hips and slid down off the bench.
"Where is the bathroom?" she asked as Xanther pointed her in the right direction.
Lucy cleaned herself up and fixed her lipstick that was spread across her lips and cheek. She quickly tidied her hair when she heard Samson begin to bark and growl at the back door. She came out and Xanther was standing in the kitchen with a frown.
"I'll go" Lucy said to see the relief look on his face.
When she went to the back door Lucy could see that Samson had Martin pinned against the back porch and wouldn't let him leave, standing between the reporter and the entry to the back porch. Lucy raised her eyebrow and crossed her arms across her shoulders.
"For fucks sake" Lucy spat as she shook her head.
Martin looked at Lucy with fear in his eye and back down at Samson who still stood growling, his fur on his back standing on edge and his tail sticking straight out.
"Please call your dog off?" Martin pleaded.
Lucy raised her eyebrow again and shook her head.
"Why the hell should I? I should let him bite your fucking balls off" Lucy growled which brought a deep throaty bark from Samson.
Martin pushed himself hard against the porch wall and looked at Lucy with pleading in his eyes.
"Please? I won't come back" he said.
Lucy snorted and shook her head.
"That's what you've said three fucking times now" she spat again.
Martin nodded his head and put his hands up.
"I mean it. I won't come back" he said.
Lucy nodded and patted her leg. Samson looked over his shoulder at her with a look that asked Lucy if she was sure. Lucy nodded her head and Samson conceded, as he turned away from Martin and flopped down by her feet.
"If I see you again, I will not hesitate to have Samson bite you. Leave me alone, leave these people alone and whoever this Xanther is, leave him alone too. If he has gone into hiding then obviously there is a good reason for it" she growled which caused Samson to casually bark backing up her point.
Martin nodded his head and scuttled off the back porch. when she went back into the house Xanther was standing in the kitchen with his head down and running his hand up through his hair. He looked up at Lucy and gave her a smile.
"Thank you" he said as he came to her and kissed her gently on the lips.
Chapter Nine
Lucy didn't know how long she would be able to convince them that Xanther didn't live in the house, or how long she would be able to hide that fact that she knew him. If it wasn't for the fact that she was allowing her libido to do the thinking for her, she would have run for the hills at the very first reporter she had met. Suddenly her little piece of paradise was being overrun and it was all because of Xanther Anderson. Whom she hardly knew, but loved getting to know him.
As Lucy sat down across from Xanther with her dinner she couldn't help but wonder why the media was so interested in him. Obviously he was famous but could that possibly be all of it? She ate in silence preoccupied in thought; Xanther seemed to be the same as he ate with a frown on his face. After he had finished he pushed his plate away and sat back running his had up through his hair.
"Oh Lucy, I can't ignore this damned media forever" he said sighing and rubbing his face.
Lucy looked up at him and nodded her head.
"Are you going to let them know that you live here?" she asked.
Lucy didn't want to have just met him and have him run to another place, she was enjoying her time with him, but Lucy was also conscious of the fact that they weren't in a relationship. They had, had mind blowing sex and that was it, for all she knew she was nothing more than a bit of sexual relief. Not that she necessarily minded, she didn't realise how much she missed sex until meeting Xanther. He shook his head and ran his hands over his face again.
"I don't know what I'm going to do. I just wish they'd piss off and leave me alone. Surely there is more going on in the world than where I'm living" he sighed.
"Why did you come here?" Lucy asked with a frown as curiosity finally overtook her.
Xanther looked up at her before standing and taking their empty plates to the sink. He came to Lucy's side and held his hand out. Lucy took Xanther's hand and let him lead them into a living area containing a huge sofa and arm chairs. Xanther sat down on one of the arm chairs and pulled Lucy onto his lap. He put his hand between her knees and kissed her cheek. She turned kissing his lips gently.
"It wasn't just Georgie that was killed in the accident" Xanther said sadly looking into Lucy's face "we had a son, Aiden, who was killed as well"
Lucy gasped and put her hand to her mouth. It was hard enough for her to have to have lost Hudson, she wouldn't know how she would have ever lived if she had lost her child as well.
"How old was Aiden?" she asked.
Xanther sighed and blinked back the tears that were beginning to build in his eyes.
"He was seven. Georgie and I had been together since teenagers. Before I got famous and we had Aiden. He was what kept us together in the end." Xanther said running his hand up through his hair.
He circled his thumb on Lucy's leg, as he fidgeted with the hem of her skirt. She ran her fingers through the ends of Xanther's hair watching his face go through the myriad of emotions that he was feeling.
"What happened?" Lucy asked.
He looked up at her sadly.
"When I got famous it was hard for Georgie. She had wanted me to follow my dreams but in order to have those dreams it meant that I would be away from home a lot with tours and recording. Aiden was only two, so she was stuck at home with him." Xanther said shaking his head slowly as a tear trickled from his eye.
Lucy leant forward and kissed the tear away; he reached up and held her head to his, before kissing her lips gently.
"While I was on tour there was a story come out that I was fucking some fangirl and Georgie saw it. She was furious with me and by the time I got back off the road she was all but moved out of our house" he croaked. "I managed to convince her the story was bullshit, which it was"
Lucy nodded her head, she could understand how hard a life it must have been for Georgie and to see a story like that, she didn't know if she could have gone through it. He kissed her again gently.
"Anyway our relationship was never the same. She started drinking a lot and then she started doing drugs. Three things that is always easy to get when you're famous. Alcohol, sex and drugs." he sighed. "She was picking Aiden up from a birthday party; she had been out all the night before drinking and smoking copious amounts of drugs"
He croaked again as another tear feel from his cheek and roll down his chin. Lucy reached out and wiped the tear from his face.
"I should have been the one picking him up, I was supposed to do it, but got called into the studio for a last minute meeting. Anyway she was so out of it she fell asleep at the wheel and hit a tree" he said with a shake of his head.
Lucy frowned and shook her head as she put her hands on Xanther's cheeks looking into his eyes before kissing away the tears that fell. He reached up and ran his fingers through her hair.
"I couldn't stand it anymore. I finished the last tour. I drank too much and nearly killed myself. I ended up in hospital with alcohol poisoning and decided to step out of the world of fame. It's just that it isn't so easy to do" Xanther said with a shrug of his shoulders.
"So they have followed you here for what? To just hassle you?" Lucy asked feeling angry.
Xanther shrugged his shoulder and nodded.
"Yeah probably" he said with a scoffed laugh. "Lucy I never expected to meet you and I never expected for everything to happen the way it has. Please I don't want you to think that I just want sex from you"
Lucy smiled. She didn't know what Xanther wanted from her. She didn't know what she wanted from Xanther. The sex was better than great, it was some of the most mind blowing sex she had ever had, but she wasn't sure that she could stand being with a man whose every action was under scrutiny with the media. She shook her head and looked at him.
