Livi met his gaze with a smile as she backed up and ran at him.
Tommy grabbed her as she surfaced, planting a playful kiss on her lips. “That’s my woman,” he chuckled as he drew her closer, her wet skin sliding against him as he brought them chest to chest. “Gods, honey, you’re making me horny,” he whispered.

“You need to come with us.”

“For what reason?” Tommy asked as he reached over and grabbed his t-shirt handing it to Livi.
“We need to talk with you.”
Tommy stood, grabbing his jeans. “Like I said, sorry about this, it’s the first time we’ve been away in a while and didn’t think anyone would be down here at this time of night.” Stepping into his jeans quickly, he glanced down as Livi shimmied her shorts on.
“Yeah, no shit. All you two do is fuck,” he snorted.
“That’s rude,” Livi said as she stood next to Tommy.
“No, bitch, that’s truth.”
“Hey, watch your mouth,” Tommy snapped. Taking a step forward he went down to one knee when something hard hit him from behind.
“Tommy!” Livi screamed as she went down, putting her arm around his shoulders. “He’s a cop, you idiot, you can’t just go hitting people!” Livi screamed again when she was grabbed from behind. She turned swinging, only to have her arm jerked back behind her. Livi cried out as she rolled her eyes. They both had to subject themselves to this abuse from these Hunters in order to find out what was going on—that included acting like humans. “Tommy!”
Tommy glanced up as they slapped a cloth over her mouth. Figuring it was something to put her out, he let his head hang as two men grabbed his arms, dragging him away.

Livi groaned as her eyes fluttered, gasping when water hit her out of nowhere.
“Leave her alone!” Tommy yelled.
“Where’s the Dragon?” A male voice yelled.
Tommy’s eyes narrowed as Livi’s head rolled to the side. “You are fucking crazy man. Dragons? Are you serious?”
“She was the last known target of our Hunter and now we can’t contact him.”
Livi’s head jerked back when he slapped her across the face. “I-I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“You are the last known target Barrett was supposed to take out and bring to us. What did you do with him?”
Tommy growled when her head went back again from a hit. “Do you know how many laws you’re breaking on top of kidnapping? I’m a fucking Sheriff’s deputy from Alston. Stop hitting her!”
“Oh we know who you are, Deputy Moilanin, and we also know that your little sweetheart here has something to do with the disappearance of Barrett Jameson.”
“You want to know where that fucking loser is? He took off like a bat out of hell after I found him beating the shit out of her and attempting to rape her in the woods! Now let us go!” Tommy struggled against his bonds. He knew he could break them with his Lyken strength, but they were here for a reason.
“Barrett said she has Dragon blood in her, that she exhibited the signs from our charms.”
“Man, you have fucking lost it.” Tommy growled as another man entered the room. Their heads were bent together in discussion before they both left. “Livi, are you alright?”
“Yeah, just a few more bruises to go with my collection.”
“I can’t get to you. They have me chained to the wall.”
