The Billionaire's Bride of Convenience(34)

By:Miranda Lee

Hugh suddenly felt perversely calm. She was his now, to do with as he pleased. And he was pleased to do one hell of a lot!

Kathryn made no protest when he stripped her of the rest of her clothes. The time for protesting was long gone.

He swept her up into his arms, his clothed state making her even more brutally aware that she was totally naked before him. Naked in more ways than one.

She’d seen the triumph in his eyes when he’d rendered her speechless. Heard the satisfaction in his voice.

She should have felt humiliated. Should have raked up enough pride to say something back!

But she hadn’t. And somehow none of that seemed to matter. All that mattered was that he kept on making love to her and kept on telling her she was beautiful.

He laid her down on top of his bed, the silky blue quilt cool against her hot skin. She stared up at him, wanting to know what he was thinking, what he was feeling. But his face remained unreadable as he ran his hands lightly down her body, his hooded eyes following them.

‘I love it that you’re not skinny,’ he said softly. When his fingers slid into her, she instinctively stiffened, not in protest, but in anticipation of what she was about to feel and what he was about to discover.

‘So wet,’ he whispered.

Kathryn tried not to react to his knowing touch, a futile and rather foolish gesture at this stage, and one which she swiftly abandoned, squirming with pleasure as his exploration became more intimate.

Dear God, she was going to come. Any second now.

‘Not yet, beautiful,’ he growled, and abruptly withdrew his hand. ‘And not like that.’

When he stood up and began stripping, Kathryn was unable to take her eyes off him. He was the one who was beautiful, more beautiful than any man she’d ever been with; tall and broad-shouldered with a magnificently defined male body and the kind of smoothly silky olive skin which would be a joy to touch.

All his clothes were disposed of with incredible speed, Kathryn having little time to ogle more of his magnificence before he rejoined her on the bed.

‘At last,’ he muttered as he cupped her face then kissed her, a long, hot, hungry kiss which drove all thought from her head. When he pried her legs open with one of his knees and moved between them, she was more than ready for him.

‘Damn and blast,’ he muttered. ‘You keep doing this to me.’

She stared up at him with blank eyes. ‘Doing what?’

He just shook his head. ‘I almost forgot the condom. Won’t be a sec.’

She squeezed her eyes tightly shut, shocked at how tempted she was to tell him to just forget it. Not that he would. Hugh was no fool.

And if she had any common sense left in her—which was debatable—she wouldn’t want him to have unprotected sex with her, either. The Pill was not one hundred per cent safe. Neither were condoms. But the two together had to be pretty foolproof.

‘Surely you’re not one of those women who likes to have sex with the lights out.’

Her eyes fluttered open to see him climb back onto the bed, her breath catching at the sight of his erection.

He rolled between her legs once more, his upper half propped up on his elbows.

‘That’s better,’ he said, and reached up to smooth her hair back from her forehead. ‘I want to see your eyes. Now ’

When his hand dropped down between their bodies, Kathryn automatically tensed. But he didn’t put himself inside her straight away. Instead, he rubbed the smooth head of his manhood up and down between her legs till her already electrified nerve-endings felt they were going to explode. He watched her all the while, no doubt reading the urgency which her eyes had to be betraying.

‘Hugh,’ she choked out at last.

‘Yes, beautiful?’

‘Please ’

‘You want me inside you.’

‘Yes, yes,’ she said, desperate now.

He took his time, filling her slowly, making her moan at the feel of their flesh becoming one. Nothing, in all her life, had ever felt this good.

‘Put your legs around me,’ he ordered thickly.

When she did, he slid his hands under her bottom and held her hard against him.

‘Put your arms around my neck. Yes, that’s the way.’ He smiled down at her. ‘Tell me you like me just a little.’

She could not stop herself smiling back at him.

‘Maybe a little,’ she admitted.

‘We’re going to have a great time together.’
