“I am asleep,” she lied. “I’m exhausted because you kept me up all night.”
He bent down and kissed her sun-warmed shoulders. “And the night before. And the night before that.”
Violet gasped when his hand moved to the backs of her thighs. “The sun won’t…”
He laughed, a deep, sexy sound as he shook his head while his fingers moved along her sensitive skin. “Oh, yes it will,” he promised.
