Something So Right(79)

“I want to love you forever. I want to be Mrs. Parker Stone. That’s my Christmas wish.” She rubs herself on me while I’m buried in her. “You made my wish come true. I promise to spend the rest of my life making all your wishes come true.”

Her pussy grips me, and I know she’s coming, her moaning also letting me know. I plant myself inside her and release within her. Her pussy continues to spasm around my cock, pulling everything from me. I roll to the side so I don’t squash her. I’m trying to get my breathing back to normal when I hear her screech next to me.

“Holy fuck, did we just get engaged?” She pulls her hand closer to her face.

“I think we did.” I laugh at her.

“I have to call the kids, I have to call Meghan. Oh my God, I have to tell everyone I know.”

“Babe, I’m not finished with you yet. You can call everyone tomorrow. Right now we have to celebrate, and I want to do it naked.” I pull out from her, then step out of my pants that were still around my ankles.

Picking her up, she wraps her legs around my waist.

“We should see how the ring looks in water. Shower, bath, or hot tub?”

“Last time we did that in the bath we almost flooded the kitchen,” she says, making me think back to the time she rode me so hard there was practically no water left in the tub with us. “I say we hit the hot tub. It’s a beautiful night.”

“Only going to get better,” I say, making our way outside where I plan to make love to her all night long.

Chapter Thirty-Five

Parker

When I open my eyes the next day, I look over to see that Cooper is already up. I blink my eyes a couple more times to wake up more. Memories of last night linger in my mind. But the biggest memory is Cooper slipping a ring on my finger.

I put my hand up in front of my face to make sure I didn’t dream it. Just when I smile to myself, I smell the scent of coffee coming upstairs.

Getting up and putting my robe on, I make my way downstairs. The rose petals still linger, the candles still lit up. I smile, thinking it was so beautiful, but he’s totally cleaning up this mess.

I walk into the kitchen and see Cooper leaning against the counter, looking at me. He’s in his famous basketball shorts hanging low on the waist. He is shirtless, of course, and his hair looks like it was ripped out from all different parts. Which it was many times last night.

I walk up to him, get on my tippy toes, and kiss his under jaw. “Morning.” I turn around, going to get a cup when I’m yanked back by my waist.

“Morning.” He kisses my lips.

I proceed to make my coffee, almost ready to take a sip of it when the doorbell rings. I look at Cooper while he looks at me. “Who the hell could that be at eight-thirty in the morning?”

I turn to walk to the door when I’m stopped in my tracks. “Where the fuck do you think you’re going like that?”

I look back and then down at myself. “I’m in a robe.” I plant my fists on my hips.

“Naked under that robe. No way in fuck you are answering the door like that.”

I roll my eyes at him and tighten the sash more, making sure nothing is peeking out. I make sure I check who it is when I see it’s Matthew. “It’s just Matthew. You can put your caveman away.” I laugh at him while he scowls.

“Hey—” And my mouth clamps shut because right behind Matthew is Allison and right behind Allison is James. I don’t have a second to think before the kids run in, dumping all their bags around. Allison runs to give Cooper a hug and talk about all the Christmas presents she wants Santa to bring.

James steps in just as I grab the collar of my robe with my left hand, not even thinking about the ring that is still on my hand. James’s eyes go wide, and I know I have to have this conversation with him.

“Hey, kids, can you bring the bags upstairs, please? And then maybe you guys can help Cooper clean up all this mess he made.”

Allison is happy to go to her room. Matthew groans, knowing that it’s not his mess, but he’ll be stuck helping out.

I look over at Cooper, hoping he gets the hint that I need to have this conversation with James.

He comes over, leans down, and kisses my cheek. “I’m going to make sure Allison puts her things away properly,” he says, going upstairs.

“James—” I don’t even get a chance to finish because James interrupts.

“You’re going to fucking marry him?” he hisses out, making me step back. My spine now goes up straight.

“Actually, I am going to fucking marry him. I would’ve married him yesterday if I could,” I tell him, knowing I would have never done it without the kids.
