“Is something wrong love?”
“No. I just don’t like to be this high up, freaks me out.”
“Haven’t you ever flown before?”
She shook her head quickly. The very idea of flying through the sky made her want to puke or pass out. Shae liked to stay on the ground, in control, but the longer she was with him, the less in control she felt. “No never.”
“Then we must. We will fly a lot, so you might as well get used to it soon.”
She didn’t like the sound of that, but she liked the way he said ‘we’. It made them seem official and it made it seem far more real. Shae followed his eyes to the other side of the car and the view was breathtaking. The road leveled off finally after going in a winding pattern for what had felt like a half an hour. When she looked in front of them, she gasped. It was like nothing she had ever seen before, but it was more than just the mansion that sprawled on top of the mountain, but the large creature sitting atop a taller wing of the home. It was what could only be described as a dragon and her eyes bulged. “Is that a…”
“Dragon? Yes. He is also to be our third. With him we will be complete and able to start our family.”
Family? Third? Dragon? Shae started to feel light headed and she leaned against him as he helped her out of the car. The dragon was a pearl color that shimmer a display of many colors as it spotted them and flew down to where they stood. Shae shrank back against Caspien, her eyes holding the fear that she felt, while he didn’t seemed bothered at all by a fire breathing dragon mere feet from where they stood.
Her eyes nearly bugged out when the beast transformed into a tall blonde-haired man with the darkest blue eyes she had ever seen. His face was square-jawed like Cass and she felt drawn to the man much in the same way. “Is this her?”
Renald was talking to Cass, but his eyes burned into hers. Shae pulled away from Caspien and stood straight. She ignored the need to back-step as he came closer to her. His large frame was as intimidating as his partners, yet the act of seeing his potential, made him even scarier to Shae. Then a thought crossed her mind that made her look back at her lover. If Renald was one, than it made sense that Caspien was one as well. It seemed that wildness was in both of them and now it was becoming clearer. Her smile faltered as the weight of the truth bore down on her. Shae felt a little lightheaded and she leaned back against Cass’ hard body.
“You know damn well it is. Did you really have to make such a scene Rennie?”
Renald smiled and grinned sheepishly. He liked the way women responded to him and he still was not convinced that Caspien had not just become smitten to end his time without. He wouldn’t know until he touched her and his body moved forward on its own to do just that. The man noted the quickening of her breath and the dilation in her eyes. She was turned on and he started to question his own quick judgment.
“Not here Renald. I swear you used to have manners.”
Cass pulled her away and the man’s suspicions grew. Renald had to agree, not having much choice against the leader. Renald walked behind them into the house. The woman seemed to get her composure when they got inside and Caspien helped her up the stairs and into their new bedroom.
“I have never seen such a big bed before.”
“That is because it is for three, or more…”
Cass sent his friend a sharp look and they both seemed to look at her in the same moment. It was clear what was on their minds and both lustful glances made her squirm. She sat down on the edge of the huge bed before she thought she may fall down. It was too real to not be true and even though she had just woken up, Shae felt like she needed to sleep.
“Why don’t you relax, while we take care of a few things?”
Shae nodded and watched them leave, though Renald looked back several times. He seemed reluctant to leave at all.
Chapter 6
When Shae final awoke, it was evening and the sun was already going down in the sky. She couldn’t believe that she had slept the whole day away, but she was sure that her brain just needed time to take it all in. Her dreams had shown that and she woke up turned on and looking for Cass.
“Caspien?”
Her voice quavered slightly and she waited for him to answer. Looking down beside the bed, she saw her bag and pulled out some fresh clothes. Noticing the extra door, she figured it was a bathroom and was thankful to find a hot shower. There wasn’t much that a good nap and a shower couldn’t solve.
In the middle of her shower, her hand brushed against one of her hard nipples and soon she was cupping them both. The soap made her skin slippery and her body wanted more. She pushed her fingers between her legs and closed her eyes, leaning back against the shower wall. Spreading her legs wider, Shae moved her hand faster, the other one pulling on her nipples, squeezing the sensitive knot in between her fingers. A moan escaped her lips and then the shower door opened.
