Shifter's Baby(6)

Her small hands pushed against his body as he started to soften deep inside. She clenched his cock and he clenched his teeth. “You keep doing that Shae and I am going to be ready again before I even pull out of you.”

Her slackened insides made him chuckle and he pulled out, lying next to her on his back. “That was…amazing and perfect. I knew that Daria was right.”

Chapter 5

Shae woke up nestled in his arms. She was still confused about the Daria comment, but there were several things that she didn’t really understand and the mystery of him only added to the appeal. He was something dangerous and unexpected that the plan had not involved. Shae didn’t know what she had been missing in her life or if she was missing anything at all, yet now she did. Now, she realized that she had been missing Cass and she somehow knew that they would always be together.

“Good morning love.”

“Little early for love, don’t you think?”

“Not at all. We will need to be married soon and you will have to meet your other mate.”

Shae sat up and was thankful it was her own apartment and bed they were in. It helped her to feel a little more grounded in such a crazy topsy-turvy world that she had awakened to. What could she say to such a demand? She tried to pull away, but he held her close. “I know my words are hard to believe, but I assure you it is what must be. You must feel how right this is? It is no happenstance that I was there for you, I was sent for you and there you were, just like Daria said.”

“Who is Daria?”

“A witch.”

A sinking feeling started to blossom in the pit of her stomach the more he talked. She wished that they could go back to the night before when their bodies were the ones doing all of the talking. “I don’t believe in all of that stuff Cass and I can’t believe that you do.”

“Many things don’t require belief to be true my love. I know this is a lot to take in, but tradition states that tonight, we are to be mated for life and you are to be united with our third. Renald will be our partner.”

“Renald?” All the names and words were blurring together and she lay back down, closing her eyes. She did not know what there was to say or what she was supposed to do. She wouldn’t have thought he was crazy, but the more he share, the less sane he appeared. Caspien kissed her on the cheek and curled his body closer to his. His cock was hard and throbbing with need for her. It was not to be though. Tradition made it clear they must wait until the moon was out. He had a whole day to wait and he grunted as he got up. His painful erection made his eyes glow and he went to the bathroom to try to piss through the hard-on.

When he got back out, Shae was dressing, her eyes unable to meet his, especially when his hard length stood between them. All she could fixate on was his thick meat, leaving her in the same place as he got closer to her. She whimpered as his hand grabbed a handful of her hair and dragged her mouth to his. Caspien bent down and captured her lips, his possession clear and undebatable. Her tongue tried to stay away, but his touch roused her and the rest of her to react as he ultimately wanted. Shae was already his, whether she wanted to admit it to herself of not.

The man called someone soon after she had her mind changed. Maybe she was as crazy as he was, but she too felt like they were somehow painted in the stars together. When a car showed up and there was a buzz on Caspien’s phone. “We must leave. Did you pack you a bag?”

She nodded her head and looked back at her apartment for several moments. Shae knew then that she would never see it again and somehow had already made peace with the idea.

Cass took her hand and led her to the car, opening the back door to let her in. He said nothing to the driver that was standing by. When the back door was closed and they were both inside, the car sped off from the curb and her heart raced with the unexpected change her life was taking. No longer did she think about the paper she had to turn in for school, nor did she care about tuition or anything other than the straight words that seemed like riddles that came out of Cass’ mouth.

“So where are we going Cass?”

They had been driving for ten minutes before she found her voice. His muscular thighs brushed against hers and then stayed there. Heat emanated off of him and the temperature in her loins rose. She too was feeling her body ready at time when nothing could be done to quench the thirst.

“I am taking you home. That is where it will be and I hope you like it. You can change anything you want, money is no object.”

Shae just nodded her head. The last thing she was thinking about was furnishings. She was more worried about what ‘it’ was that was supposed to happen there. Looking out the tinted window, it was obvious the higher they got, that they were going to the farthest bluff over the city below. It made her heart beat harder, as she had a fear of heights. She looked away and grimaced.
