Say Uncle(11)

By:C.M Steele

“I don’t want you to touch me again. So back off.” She pulled away, and I didn’t want to make a scene so I let her go. She stormed off, and Ted went ahead to stop her.

They didn’t hear what I had to say, so Candy tried to soothe my ego by whispering in my ear. “Don’t worry about her. She just turned eighteen, and she’s still got a teenage attitude.”

“She’s eighteen!” I think I may have turned green at the realization.

“Yeah, but she doesn’t like to be considered young, so don’t bring it up until later. I don’t want Ted to get the wrong impression of her.”

She wanted Ted to like Angel because it made her look like a good mother, which I doubted was true. “So does she have a fake ID or something, because she can’t get into most places?”

“Yes, she does.” She was proud that her daughter was breaking laws. Yep, she was a bad mother for sure. Things were going to change really fast between us because I wasn’t happy about her bullshitting me.

We decided to walk to the first shop, then catch a cab later when the girls tired. I was walking alongside Candy while Angel talked it up with my brother. Once we got to the first shops, I stood next to the rack and whispered, “If you even think about getting an outfit that short like that again, it better be for when I get home and you’re ready to service me.”

She turned to give me a deadly glare. “Drop dead, you pig,” she hissed.

“Jealous a bit, aren’t we?” She scowled, huffed, then looked away from me, so I grabbed her chin and said, “That’s what you get for refusing to give up that bastard ass in Chicago. I want to shoot him, so keep pushing me, sweetheart. By the way, you’re collecting the ‘Uncle Deans.’ You’re going to spend a fucking lifetime on your knees for me.” Her mother and my brother were already down the aisle, so I stole a quick kiss to remind her who she belonged to. She mewled just like I thought she would.

“Now, sweetheart, buy whatever you want, but remember what I said.” I walked away and sat on a bench meant for the husbands. Hell, it even said it, and they had a huge screen above it to keep us occupied. Ted came and sat down next to me after about ten minutes of shopping with Candy.

“Bro, damn…if the pussy wasn’t good,” he sighed.

“Yeah, I know. You wouldn’t be here either.” I laughed.

“You slept with her?!” Ted barked.

“Shh! Yeah, I did. Get off your high horse. You married a stripper. I’m just burying my cock into her legal beauty.” I shrugged. It was more than just a fucking, but I wasn’t ready to tell him that because I was trying to end his rushed marriage.

“But she’s just eighteen,” Ted protested.

“Yes, and she needs an ass whooping for that. She fucking lied to me, but it doesn’t change shit. Just like your wife keeping a kid from you. Does she know about Sally?” I had to ask just in case I slipped. I didn’t want to snitch on my brother.

“No, and I’m not telling her,” he warned with a growl.

“She’s going to find out one day, bro. Unless you’re not going to take her back to your house ever,” I challenged.

My questions started to aggravate him. He never got over Sally. I didn’t care for her because she’d cheated on him, and the only reason they stayed together was she was dying. He blamed himself for not being a good husband, which I knew was bullshit. “Don’t worry about it, bro.”

“Fine.” I threw my hands up in surrender. I knew he could be stubborn as fuck. He’d always been that way. “You know you could do a hell of a lot better than her,” I added defiantly.

“You’re not going to change my mind.” He got up and walked away, which really pissed me off. I looked for my girl, but I didn’t see her anywhere so I went in search. She was still in the dressing room stall and on her phone. I heard something that I didn’t want to hear, so I fucking left, just telling Ted I was off.

I was back at the hotel before I knew it. My anger was beyond belief. She was playing me and her boyfriend. Fuck trying to save Ted from a big mistake. She was going to take him for half of everything he was worth, and that would be his fucking fault. I slammed down my luggage on the bed, then grabbed my shit to shower her fucking scent off me. I felt like a pussy, but I refused to be Ted.

I was acting like a total bitch, but hearing her say that she loved him crippled me. I wanted to go out and find one of those skanks running all over the strip and fuck my anger out with one of them. She fucked me up so bad I couldn’t even function. I knew I never felt this way before, and it was destroying me.
