Play Along(124)
“I have something for you.” He wrestles around in his pocket and pulls out something wrapped in tissue paper.
I frown as he unwraps it and then he drops to his knee and holds up a ring.
I stare at him, overwhelmed with emotion.
“Marry me.”
I’m speechless. I have no words.
“I want you to marry me.”
“I know.” I smile as I bend and kiss him. “I want you to marry me back,” I whisper through my tears, onto his lips.
“Is that a yes?”
I nod. “That’s a hell fucking yeah.” I laugh. He stands and lifts me, and then throws me onto the bed. I bounce hard.
He stands, and as his dark eyes hold mine, he takes his shirt off and then slowly slides his jeans down.
My breath catches. He was muscular before, but now… there are no words to describe his physique. Tall and broad with a chiselled, cut stomach, and a distinct V of muscles that go down to his groin.
I’ve never seen anything more beautiful.
His huge cock hangs heavily between his legs and my sex clenches in appreciation.
Good God. Bad Boy Heaven in all its glory… and he loves me.
He sits me up, takes my dress over my head, and then lies me back and slides my panties down my legs.
I can hardly breathe as I lie naked before him. His eyes roam all over my flesh as if memorising every inch of my skin. “Open your legs,” he whispers.
I open my legs slightly and he pushes them back to the mattress and stares at me for a moment as I see a myriad of emotions cross his face.
“What’s wrong?” I whisper.
“Nothing.”
I frown.
“You don’t know how long I have thought of this moment.”
“What have you thought about?” I ask as I bring my hand up to cup his face.
“To have you wearing my ring. To have you naked in my bed. To have you love me.”
“And I do,” I whisper. “I love you so much.”
He kisses me softly and crawls over me, sliding home in one deep thrust. We both groan out in pleasure.
He pulls out slowly and slides in deep again, and as he lifts his body up onto his straightened arms, he smiles broadly. “Honey, I’m home.”
I laugh out loud as he slams into me again.
Fairy tales do come true.
Super heroes are real.
Epilogue
Five years later.
“Ah, baby, careful.” I run to the bottom of the stairs as the little diaper behind tries to climb up. I pick her up and put her onto my hip.
Molly is two, cheeky as hell, and into everything… just like her dad. She squeals in delight and tries to wriggle free.
We live in Oyster Bay Cove on Long Island now, in a large, beautiful, two-storey house. We have a swimming pool and a double lot of land, and thanks to our diamond heist, we want for nothing. After toying with the idea of living overseas, we decided against it. We have exotic holidays a couple of times a year, but that’s about as far as it goes. When it really comes down to it, what makes us the happiest is family. Stace wanted to be here for Sebastian, his nephew.
He figured the best gift he could give Justin, his brother, was to bring up Sebastian as his own.
And that’s just what he’s doing.
We have bought Annette, his mother, a house in the same estate, and also one for his sister-in-law Cindy, Sebastian’s mother. We are all very close. They have become the family I didn’t have. They looked after me so well in those first few months when I came to live with them while Stace was in prison. I will be forever grateful that they adopted me the way that they did when they didn’t even know me. Cindy has recently remarried and is pregnant with their first little one. Her new husband Andrew is nice. I know it kills Stace to see his brother’s love move on, but he wants her happy, like we all do. Seb, as we call him, is eleven now and lives with us half the time just as he would if he was Stace’s son. He is at an age where he wants to be around Stace, and when Cindy started dating Andrew we had him more often to give them time alone. Seb has insisted it stays that way and his mom is only around the corner if he needs her.
Stace is at every ball game, training session, every school function, every birthday party. They fish, they fix things, they camp, and Stace loves Seb with everything that he has. They have a beautiful relationship and Seb really does see him as his father.
I smile down at the little blonde haired girl staring up at me. Cheekiness personified.
This one has her dad wrapped around her finger. I hear the electronic gates open and I know the boys are home. I glance out the kitchen window to see Stace’s big, black pick-up roll into the driveway. I bought him that black Ferrari that he loved so much. Funnily enough, he hardly ever drives it. It’s a trophy car and a waste of money, if I’m totally honest. Stace has started a development company. If he had his time again, he would have gone back into The Marines, but now that he has a criminal record, that wasn’t an option. He’s doing well and has four men working for him. Sometimes he flies a helicopter for fun on the weekend if he has the time.
