Part 1: No Regrets(Divine Creek Ranch 2)(33)

By:Heather Rainier

Eli hissed at his painfully twitching erection, which throbbed to be inside her, pounding into her along with the rhythm of the song. Making eye contact with him across the room, she licked her lips and smiled seductively at him, and he freaking moaned out loud! Ethan looked over at him sympathetically as the song drew to a close. Another one requested by Grace followed along on its heels—“Steam” by Ty Herndon .

Oh. Hell. No. More teasing and tantalizing torture.

“Uh, boss?” Mike interrupted. “We got things under control here

if…y’all want to take a break and dance with your ladies.”

Ladies. They were definitely not being ladies right now. Like moths to a flame, both Ethan and Eli were drawn to the dance floor. Rachel saw him coming and smiled playfully, crooking her index finger at him. Eli gently collided with Rachel and spun her around on the dance floor, pressing his erection against her belly. “See what you’ve done to me, angel? I’m so hot for you right now I may explode.”

Coming out of the turn, Eli grasped her hand and hip, then gently pulled her to him. Her long hair sailed around him in a dark cloud. Her intoxicating scent filled his nostrils and made his mouth water and he softly said, “I can’t wait to make love to you again.”

She gasped happily as his hand brushed her breast as they moved. He pulled her to him again after spinning her, and he groaned when she very deliberately swiveled her hips into his and undulated against his rock-hard cock.

“I can’t wait, baby,” she said softly as she shimmied against him.

Eli grinned and looked over as Ethan and Grace spun by on the dance floor. Ethan held Grace’s hands and let her dance for him. Her silky skirt swished around her thighs as she shimmied for him. He spun her then pulled her back to his front, and she gyrated against him, giggling as he spun her again and pulled her to him face-to-face and did a very suggestive cha-cha-cha. Grace smiled, and her eyes closed when he whispered God-only-knew-what in her ear. It must have been to her liking because her eyes glittered, and she laughed suggestively. The look on Ethan’s face could only be described as primitive lust. Someone was getting laid but good tonight.

Up to that point, the four of them had only had eyes for their partners, but as the song drew to a close, Eli realized they were on the dance floor alone, surrounded by loud applause, raucous cheering, and loud catcalls.

“Ladies and gentlemen, Ethan Grant and Grace Warner, Eli Wolf and Rachel Lopez. Let’s hear another round of applause for the happy couples.

Now go get a room, guys!” the DJ announced as they laughed and kissed each other, exiting the dance floor.

Rachel noticed pointed stares directed at her and Eli from several tables around the dance floor and had to laugh. As she turned to him to kiss him, he swept her up into his arms. She wrapped her arms around his shoulders,

feeling tiny and petite. That got them more cheers and catcalls. He set her down, and they walked back to the table at the front. She took her seat to catch her breath.

Eli leaned over her, palm against the wall above her head, and tilted her chin up to him. She leaned into him breathlessly as he gave her a sweet, gentle kiss intended to make her knees melt and her spine tingle. She held on to his biceps, closed her eyes, and moaned softly. He released her lips after only a moment. “I am so lucky.”

Rachel was about to disagree that she was the lucky one when they were interrupted by a sudden commotion and the sound of a fistfight on the other side of the bar. Eli murmured to her quickly, “Duty calls,” and vanished in an instant. Rogelio appeared next to Rachel and said, “Stay right here, sweetheart. I’ll be right back.” Both Eli and Mike had waded in to separate the combatants while others moved the women out of the way and returned overturned chairs to the bar. Three men who had been sitting at the bar were involved in the confrontation—Brice Huvell and two other men she recognized but did not know personally.

Every woman who came into The Dancing Pony on a regular basis

knew who Brice Huvell was because he’d used the same inept pickup lines on all of them, including her. Brice was kind of sleazy with his come-ons but basically harmless. Once a woman told him no a time or two, he generally left her alone, which was why Rachel placed him in the harmless category. More than anything, Brice needed a makeover and someone sympathetic to take him in hand and teach him some etiquette.

Ethan left Grace with Rachel and got involved in the fray, helping to separate the three men, and then had pointed words with all three of them.
