“Instead, you go through them as if they’re going out of fashion,” William said.
“They approach me.”
“That’s what’s different with Alexa. She hasn’t approached you. She watches, and stays at the bar, and then leaves.”
Corey had been watching her just as she’d been watching him. She’d not done anything in her curiosity. No, she stayed, she watched, she left.
“Has she been here?” he asked.
“Asking for you? No. The only time Alexa and I spoke was dealing with her application.”
Corey found it intriguing that a woman would pay a large amount of money to be part of a club, and yet not even use any of the facilities. She watched, and that was it. He saw the yearning in her eyes, the need that she tried to keep locked away, but he saw it all. Alexa wasn’t using the club to its full advantage.
“I’ll give you an extra million for that charity you like,” Corey said.
It was time for William’s brow to go up. “You’d part with your millions just to get a shot at this woman?”
“I’m just trying to answer some questions.”
“No.”
“I won’t share any of the information you share.”
“It’s still no.”
“Two million.” This woman was proving to be very expensive.
“Five million,” William said.
“Done.”
Corey was rich beyond his wildest dreams. He’d sold his father’s business for a great deal years ago, and he had more money than he’d ever use.
“Fuck!” William shook his head, going through another door toward the large filing cabinets he kept stored.
“Don’t you do all of this over the internet?”
“Internet storage gets hacked all the time. This is more secure.” He opened one drawer, going through the files, and pulled out the one marked “Evans, Alexa”. “This is the one you’re after. You don’t leave the office.”
“Okay.”
Sitting in the chair opposite the desk, Corey opened the file and scrolled through it. “She’s a librarian. How the fuck can she afford your fucked up prices?”
“Look through.”
She had an amazing credit score, and bingo, inheritance, even though she still worked. He liked this woman.
“Any fantasies?” Corey asked.
“It’s at the end, providing she was honest about it. You tell anyone about this, Corey, and I will remove you from the club.”
Corey stopped playing around. “I wouldn’t do that to you, or to this woman. I may be an asshole, but even I know private fantasies are that, private until you’re ready to play with them.”
“Are you going to hurt this woman? Alexa, she seems nice.”
“I know, and no, I’m not going to hurt her.” He wanted to play with her, to let her lose all of those reservations and the insecurity that seemed to be plaguing her whenever he saw her. Corey had been intrigued by her from the first moment he saw her. He figured once she saw him playing, she’d either stop going to the club, or she’d approach him. Alexa had done neither, instead just watching him.
He found that interesting.
No woman ever interested him, or gained his attention for longer than a couple of hours. Recently, no one had ever gained his attention. They had been a hole for him to use, and he wasn’t embarrassed by that.
Corey flicked to the back, and started to read through the checklist of her fantasies, and what she liked. William liked to be thorough so he combined a checklist in BDSM contracts, but advanced on it, including fantasies and something more.
He saw that Alexa had put a cross on many sex acts that she’d not done. Anal play, anal sex, sex toys, sex positions, toys, spanking, and pretty much anything that was exciting had been crossed out. She’d also placed a cross against voyeurism, exhibitionism, and several other elements that she’d proven to enjoy.
“Why the fuck did she even come here?” Corey asked.
“My guess is the guys she dated didn’t exactly have what it took to satisfy her.” William shrugged. “I’m not here to question why people do what they do, only that when they’re here, they don’t get forced to do what they don’t like.
He finished going through some of her fantasies, and even as he read through, they seemed … false. What was she hiding?
He memorized the address to the library, and closed the file. “That’s all I needed to know.”
Chapter Two
The library was pretty busy on a Friday as students were taking books out for the weekend, and the library also had afterschool activities for kids with their parents. They were trying to get the kids back to reading.
