She cupped his whisker-roughened cheek.
“Yasin, that was incredible. Everything about it.”
He grinned. “Even stopping?”
“Yes, especially stopping, because that proved to you that you will always protect me.” She grinned. “And you started again with a renewed vigor. But don’t worry. I don’t intend it to become a regular thing.”
He laughed. “Even if you did, it would be worth it.” His smile faded and his eyes filled with overwhelming love. “Because it means I can be with you. Forever.”
“Forever?” she echoed.
He drew back, the emotion in his eyes dissipating. “Forgive me. I did not mean to be presumptuous.”
He stood up. She started to protest, but he scooped her into his arms and carried her into the living room and set her on the couch.
“Yasin, I—”
“Silence, my love.”
He grabbed a cashmere throw from the armchair and wrapped it around her naked body. He stood up, his slack cock hanging heavily between his legs, and strode back into the bedroom. When he returned, he wore his suit pants again.
He walked right to her, then sank to the floor. When he was on one knee, he reached into his pants pocket. When he pulled out a small, burgundy velvet box, her heart lurched.
“My darling, Lily. I have known since I first met you that you are the woman I want to spend my life with. I bought this ring then in anticipation of the day when I would finally ask you to marry me.” He took her hand and brought it to his warm lips. “That day has finally come.” He opened the box and presented the diamond ring to her.
But she couldn’t see it. Tears shimmered in her eyes and it was just a sparkling mass. She turned her gaze to him and, with a wide smile on her face, nodded.
Then she found her words.
“Yes, Yasin,” she uttered in a muted murmur. “Oh, yes.”
Then she threw her arms around him and hugged him close.
The blanket fell from her shoulders, leaving her naked in his arms. She stroked his cheek.
“I love you so much,” she said, tears streaming freely down her cheeks.
“And I love you. With all my heart. Whatever you want from me, I will give it. It may seem as if I am mastering you, but you are master of my heart.”
“And you of mine, Yasin.”
She hugged him even tighter, knowing that together they would both master their destiny. And live forever in the bliss of their potent love for each other.
