Maizy the Bear Charmer(Diving Creek Ranch 16)(58)

Heath murmured from behind her, “Yeah, let’s get you in.”

The two of them helped her into the tub and Spencer folded a hand towel for her to rest her head on against the back of the tub. She smiled at him and her eyes fluttered closed and then opened again.

“Spencer? Heath? Do you believe it’ll work out, like Cody said?”

Spencer squatted down beside the tub, cognizant of the uncomfortable erection he sported. He sighed and nodded. “I do. You may teach for them but they’re not entitled to control your private life…what happens in the privacy of your home.” He looked up at Heath and his brother nodded at her in agreement.

“I hope you’re right.”

Any other outcome was unacceptable. They’d just found her. They couldn’t lose her now.

Chapter Fourteen

Maizy opened her eyes when she sensed a presence in the doorway and smiled at Cody, as he stood casually leaning against the doorframe. A wave of heat shimmered through her at the desire radiating from his dark eyes. “Hi.”

“I brought you a shirt to slip into.” He placed a white button-down shirt on the counter.

“Thank you.”

He squatted down by the tub and she could see that his hair was still a little damp from his shower. She reached out and painted the end of his nose with bubbles. His warm gaze twinkled a little before he wiped the bubbles away and she wondered how long it’d been since he’d relaxed and played.

“I thought you’d like to have something to wear during supper but I’m sure it’ll come off afterward. Don’t button it.”

“Don’t button—uh!” She gasped in surprise and sat up. Bossy!

“Please,” he added with a knowing smile as he stood.

“Why?”

“Because we think you’re beautiful and we want to look at you while we eat supper and talk. Then we plan to eat you for dessert.”

“Oh…Well…All right, then.” What else could she say? He walked out of the room smiling and she could hear voices down the hall and the opening and closing of the back door. Her body quivered wickedly at the thought of being served up as their dessert.

Five minutes later, with the tangles combed out of her hair, Maizy slipped into Cody’s shirt and rolled up the long sleeves, leaving it unbuttoned as he’d directed. Vulnerability and sensuality created a potent combination coursing through her, and Cody’s scent on the shirt got her a little wet as she checked her reflection in the bathroom mirror. Every breath rustled the cotton fabric against her peaked nipples and the air currents brushed over her pussy as she walked into the living room. They had all showered and put on pajama pants and T-shirts which fit snugly over their immense muscular frames.

When they saw her, all three men froze. Spencer bumped into the love seat and his steak nearly did a nose dive off his plate before he course-corrected and took a seat. Heath’s baked sweet potato slid off of his plate and onto the coffee table as he stopped in midstroke cutting his steak. Cody halted midstep with three bottles of beer in one hand and another glass of sangria in the other. All of them were staring at her.

Heath was the first to recover, though his eyes were riveted to her bared cleavage and pussy. In a husky voice, he said, “Wow, baby. Come and sit with us.” He plopped the potato back onto his plate with a chuckle. She noticed then that they’d rearranged the furniture in the living room.

The couch, where Heath lounged, and the love seat Spencer was sitting on were now at angles with each other and an overstuffed chair formed the third side of a triangular setup. Cody headed to the chair with his plate after delivering the beverages to their owners. A fourth plate containing a sirloin steak already all cut up, a baked sweet potato, and bacon-wrapped asparagus sat on the side table.

“Where would you like to sit, or rather with who?” Cody asked as he reached out to her, drawing her into their midst. When she frowned and hesitated, Cody smiled. “There’s no wrong answer, Maizy. Before the night is over, you’ll have been with all three of us.”

Her pussy pulsed and ached with excitement at his word choice. Even though she recalled Spencer’s words from earlier about not overdoing tonight, she imagined moving from one man to the next and making love with them. When her gaze met Heath’s he smiled and she had a feeling he knew exactly what she was thinking. They probably all did, because her cheeks gave her away.

She made her choice and went to Spencer. His gaze was warm as he helped her into his lap and took her plate from Cody when he handed it to him.

Heath said, “I hope I cooked your steak all right.”
