LOVE ‘EM(87)

He drops his forehead to mine, mumbling. “Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.”

I push him off, rolling away and scrambling to find clothes to put on.

Shit.

My shorts? Where’s my shirt? Oh, good Lord, it’s in the theater. “Damn. It. What do I do?”

Danny falls onto his back, his cock standing at attention. “Why the hell are they home? They weren’t due back for another two weeks.”

I smack his knee. “You better go down there before she comes up. Damn, I’ve got to get out of here. How do I sneak out? This is just my luck.”

Panic wells in my gut. I slip my shorts on and grab a t-shirt out of the drawer Danny pulled one from the other day. When condoms scatter, I dive to the floor, pushing them under his bed.

When I stand, he’s still sprawled on the mattress, his legs hanging over the side. I kick his shin. “Get down there.”

He points to his hard-on. “I can’t go down there like this.”

I’d have thought his mom yelling for him would’ve killed any desire he had—apparently not.

“Well, you better at least give her an answer, or she’s going to come looking for you.”

Danny stands. His cock bounces as he takes a giant step to his door. He calls down. “Hey, I was just getting in the shower; I’ll be down in a little bit.”

After a second or two, she replies, “Okay. We’ll be in our room.”

I let out a deep breath. “So, how am I going to get out without them knowing I was up here?”

He folds me into his arms. “I’m sorry, Sweets. This isn’t how I planned this to go.”

I pull away. “Seriously, Danny. I have to get out of here.”

He frowns. “It’s not that big a deal, Mo. We’re grown-ups. What do you think they’ll do, ground us?”

I glare at him. “I think I’ll be embarrassed if your parents know what we’ve been up here doing. And I think they’ll be colossally disappointed and probably kick me out. No parent wants this kind of thing going on under their roof.”

“Fuck their roof. Come on. Let’s have a shower.”

I cross to the window and look out. It faces the back of the house. “Maybe they won’t notice if I climb down the drain pipe.”

“Chill. It’s okay. This is a big house. Let’s get a shower; when I go downstairs, I’ll distract them and you can sneak out the back.”

Danny steps into the other room and turns on the water. He grabs my hand and pulls me into the bathroom, pushing the door closed with his foot. “Come on. You can’t go anywhere until I go downstairs anyway. You might as well shower with me.”

I frown as he pulls the T-shirt over my head.

“Son?” David’s voice bleeds through the door.

My arm clamps over my breasts, and my eyes go wide. I yank the shirt from Danny’s hands.

He shakes his head and mouths fuck. “Gimme a sec, Dad.”

“Now, Danny.”

Danny wraps a towel around his waist.

He pushes me into the shower. Shorts, shirt, and all.

Great. Now I’m soaked and trapped.

I step out of the bathroom. Dad has Mo’s ripped panties hanging off the end of his fucking finger. His mouth forms a hard line and his brows are knit.

I snatch the scrap of lace from his hand. “Thanks.”

“You know how we feel about you bringing girls into this house.”

I nod. My gut roils with a mixture of fear and anger. “Yes. I believe I do. I appreciate the reminder though.”

He props his hands on his waist. “Danny, your escapades affect this entire family. My entire organization. The ministry.”

“Fuck the ministry. What you really mean is your bank account. Don’t you always tell me how important it is to be honest? At least be honest with your son, Pops.”

He goes red in the face and points at me. “Do I need to remind you that you have good reason to behave yourself? Would hate to have your Trust compromised in some way, wouldn’t you?”

I cross my arms. “Yeah, whatever, Dad. Only a complete asshole controls his family with money that’s rightfully theirs. But that’s how you roll.”

“Just keep yourself in line.” He turns to leave, but stops at the door. “Have you seen Mo? Her car’s down at the guest house, but her lights are all off.”

Shit.

I let out a huff. “I don’t know—maybe she went out or something. I’m not exactly one of her best friends.”

He stalks off down the hall. “And it better stay that way, Danny. I deal with a lot from you, but I will not tolerate you going after someone in my care. Keep yourself in line, or else.”

Or else.
