Kwame & Kyhanna(19)
"That's what I wanted to do at the party the other night before we were so rudely interrupted."
"What about your baby moms?" I asked.
"What about her? She's the mother of my son. Nothing more and nothing less. From now on, it's all about you."
"All about me?"
"Yup. The way it should be. Now give me another kiss." Kwame said and I leaned up putting my lips on him and giving him another kiss that sent fire and electricity throughout my entire body.
After we walked through the park, Kwame took me to grab a bite to eat at C. Staples before he dropped me off in front of Tameeka's mom house. Before I got out of the car, he held onto my hand so I couldn't get out of the car.
"Remember I said you can come and stay with me. I would like that."
"I know and I'll think about it and let you know. Okay?"
"Okay baby. Text me when you get in the house although I wish you were coming home with me."
"I know but I'll see you soon."
"I'll come and get you from school tomorrow and we can spend some time together. And Kyhanna … "
"Yes."
"You ain't gotta worry about anything baby ‘cuz I got you from here on out and I mean that shit."
"I know you do." I smiled and then gave him a quick kiss before I got out and walked up to Tameeka's front door which was already opening. I know that hoe was watching me through the blinds with her nosey ass.
"Oh my God! You've been out with Kwame all this time! Was y'all somewhere getting freaky? Did you give him some ass? Do y'all go together? What's up? You gotta open up and let me know what's going on." Tameeka gave me five million questions that I was going to answer if she stopped talking long enough so I could answer her back.
"Okay Meeka I need for you to take a breath … yes I've been with Kwame this whole time. No we didn't get freaky. No I didn't give him some ass and yes we pretty much have made the decision to be together."
"Bitch! Let me find out! Are you serious? Do you know how many chicks wish they could be cuffed by this nigga … if you was hated before you really about to be hated now."
"Their issue, not my problem. Get this … so I told him all the stuff that happened with my mom and wants me to come and live with him."
"So you going?"
"Naw. Not right now. I told him I would think about it."
"Girl please you crazy. If a nigga like Kwame asked me to stay with him my bags would be packed. I'd be waiting at the door."
"I just don't want to seem thirsty Meeka. That's not me."
"I understand but shiiid … he that type of nigga that I wouldn't mind being thirsty for. I'd be motherfuckin' dehydrated if he asked me the stuff he asked you."
"I just wasn't sure if he was still dealing with his baby mom's or not. Didn't you tell me they were living together?"
"Yeah so they probably aren't dealing with each other if he's coming at you like this."
"That's a good point."
"I mean you're always welcome to stay with us but if you choose to go and stay with Kwame I ain't even mad at you."
"I hear you. You're crazy." I laughed.
"My bags would be packed." Tameeka laughed.
I went and took a shower and after I stepped out of the shower to dry myself, I saw that Kwame had sent me a message.
I'm glad we got to talk today … and I'm serious from here on out it's me and you. Can't wait to see you tomorrow.
I smiled from ear to ear when I read what Kwame sent me. I couldn't help but smile. From all of the craziness I had endured within the past few days Kwame had come along and easily become my sweet spot. As soon as I wrapped my naked body in a towel, I picked my phone up and sent him a reply.
I can't wait to see you either.
So send me a picture of you so I can stare at you until tomorrow.
I found myself blushing every time he texted me. It was like he always knew what to say to have me blushing and giggling like a school girl. I had never been this giddy about anyone in my entire life until Kwame came in the picture. I put on my Pink lace bra and matching panty and was getting ready to snap a picture of myself when Mr. Impatient sent me another message.
So your man can't get a picture?
I can't send it if I haven't taken it yet. Snapping a quick flick right now.
Oh lol … well I'm waiting.
I turned on my camera and reversed the view so I could capture a cute, sexy flick to send to Kwame. It took me several tries but I finally settled on one pic that gave him a nice view of everything. The minute I set the picture to him I started to second guess myself and wondered what he thought of it. I ended up trying to think about something else so I finished getting dressed, put on my Victoria Secret pajamas, and then went downstairs to the couch that I had been sleeping on for the past few days. Thank God that Tameeka's creep of a stepfather had been missing in action since we came back from Marquis party. Otherwise I would've been right in Meeka's room in the bed with her and my godson. I don't know what it was but it was something about him that made me feel uneasy and super uncomfortable. Tameeka's mother worked straight midnights so it was usually just us three in the house anyway. My phone alarmed letting me know that Kwame had responded to my picture. I took a deep breath and then unlocked my phone.
Damn I wish you were here with me right now. You'd be wearing less than that. Goodnight beautiful.
I must've stared at his text until I fell asleep. When I woke up, I jumped when I saw Cedric sitting across from me staring at me like I was a T-bone steak. Even though I was fully dressed it made me feel as though I were completely naked. I immediately sat up on the couch. I don't even know how long he had been sitting there but it had already been a second too long.
"You know what? You look so sexy when you sleep." Cedric licked his crusty, dark lips. The look he had in his eyes was that of pure lust in which I was the object of his obsession. I didn't have anything to say to him. Instead, I stood up from the couch, grabbed all my things and started to walk up the stairs to Tameeka's room.
"So you don't have nothing to say to what I just said?" Cedric asked. I made sure I turned around and looked him directly in his eyes.
"Yeah I do. Fuck you Cedric." I spat and laced my voice with so much disrespect that his simple behind wouldn't have any choice but to get my point. I could hear him laughing as if something I said had tickled him but as far as I was concerned I didn't find anything funny nor did I find it was amusing.
"Good morning Meeka." I said as I walked in the room and saw my best friend getting my godson dressed. She was already dressed.
"Good morning sleepy beauty. I tried to wake you up but you said you wanted to sleep a little longer."
I shook my head knowing that my best friend was telling the truth because I had a habit of talking in my sleep when I was tired.
"I probably did say that. I'm liable to say anything when I'm sleepy. Your creep of a stepfather is the one that woke me up. He was just sitting there staring at me. He is so weird."
"Girl don't pay Cedric any mind. He's harmless."
"I feel you but I still feel weird when he says stuff to me."
"Just ignore him."
"Definitely."
"Soooo … did you talk to your boo last night?"
My smile was hard to contain.
"I sure did. We text each other until I fell asleep."
"Aww. Ain't y'all cute? I can't believe Kwame cuffed you. My girl is finally taken … finally."
"Shut up."
"Well at least you got a real hitta and not weak ass Malik."
"Girl, you ain't never lied."
"Kyhanna you better hurry up and get dressed so we don't miss our bus."
I looked at her alarm clock that sat on her tattered wooden dresser and realized I needed to high tail it in the bathroom so we wouldn't be late. I picked my uniform out of my bag and then hurried on to the bathroom.
By the time I walked out of the bathroom, Tameeka had taken her son down the street to the babysitter and was sitting on her bed tapping on her watch.
"You lucky ‘cuz I was just about to get up and leave your ass here with limp dick Cedric."
"Whatever. You betta not have left me here with that jerk."
"Now you know I wouldn't do you like that."
I grabbed my book bag and followed Tameeka downstairs where Cedric was still sitting in the same spot he'd been sitting in looking like the true creep he was. He had the nerve to look over in my direction and wink. I rolled my eyes and gave him the finger as I continued walking outside. There was still no bus in sight but instead I seen a car that looked like Kwame's approaching where we were standing.
