Kwame & Kyhanna(13)

By:Chante Amor

"I was hoping we could talk for a second and maybe come to some sort of  understanding about where we are in our relationship." Malik proposed  and it was like we were having the same damn conversation all over  again.

"Malik for the last time we are not in a relationship and talking about  us is the last thing I came here to do. Leave me the fuck alone." I said  and then walked away from him joining Meeka who was sipping on  something in her cup.

"This dude gets on my nerves. I knew he thought I was coming here to pay  his ass some attention. But little do he know I'm not here for him."

"He's so lame. How him and Marquis are blood is truly beyond me."

"Right."

"Your boo is here. When he walked in I swear the party stopped for a second."

"Tameeka." I laughed.

"Naw, seriously. That nigga is too sexy. All eyes were definitely on him  when he came down here. Girl, don't look but he looking over this way.  He staring at you." Tameeka said as I felt my heart flutter immediately.

"Quit lying. He ain't looking at me." I said trying to remain as calm as  I could but with the way that my girl was looking across the room I  knew he had to be looking in my direction.

"Bitch, he definitely staring at you. Oh shit, he's coming this way."

"Oh my god how do I look? Do I look okay?" I asked as I attempted to fix  my outfit without seeming obvious. She didn't even have a chance to  answer me because before I knew it I was being tapped on my shoulder.

"I had to come and say hello to the finest chick at the party." Kwame  said as I turned around and caught him eyeing me up and down. Just  seeing how this dude was checking me out sent chills up and down my  spine. His almond shaped eyes seemed to pierce through my soul and when  he licked his full lips he made me just want to kiss him right there in  front of everybody.

"Kwame, quit playing with my emotions. It's so many girls here at this  party. It's hard for me to believe that I'm finest one." I said trying  to play off his comment and keep myself together. He probably told  chicks this type of stuff all the time.

"Have you looked around? Don't nobody got shit on you. Real talk." Kwame  replied and taking another look around I knew he was telling the truth.  Me and my bestie were the coldest chicks at Marquis party.

"You probably tell all the girls you holla at that."

"Naw, I don't. I can't get no hug or nothing? I walked all the way over here and haven't got a hug yet."

I shook my head and laughed as I watched him pout. I opened my arms and  watched as he bent down to give me a hug. When he leant in his cologne  infiltrated my nostrils and I was overcome not only with his sexiness  but the way he smelled started to make me weak right where I was  standing. His lips grazed the side of my neck as he let me go. Kwame  licked his lips and I couldn't do anything but shake my head and smile.  Why did this nigga have to be so damn sexy?

"That was nice." Kwame nodded his head and then smiled revealing his  pearly white smile. His teeth were so straight and white that he could  model them off in somebody's magazine. His smile only added to his  sexiness.

"Whatever." I shook my head. I wanted to agree but I didn't want him to  think I was thirsty or like all these other chicks who were practically  drooling over him at this point. If he wanted me then he was going to  have to show me something.

"Oh it's whatever huh?" He asked as my attitude turned into a smile  right before his eyes. What the hell was this nigga doing to me?

"Yeah, it's whatever." I replied as I playfully bit down on my bottom  lip. Here I was trying to have my defenses up and this nigga was  standing here destroying them one by one.

"Look I'm about to go and holla at my brothers and Marquis for a minute  but I'll be back through for a dance so save me one." He winked at me.

"Okay." I answered and then walked away to find Tameeka who was standing  outside on the walkout patio talking to a few girls we knew from  school. Tameeka's mouth was open before I even stepped outside all the  way.

"Girl, I peeped the way Kwame was trying to get all close to you. I told you he wants you sis."

"You may be right Meeka."

"You better get it. Kwame is one the finest dudes around the city." Our friend Dasani said as she slapped hands with Meeka.

"Yeah, he is. And he smells so good too." I gushed. I could still smell his cologne.

"He says he wants me to save a dance for him."

"And yo ass better dance with him too and twerk it real good. None of that stiff shit at all."

"Shut up trick, I know how to dance." I replied defending myself.

"Yeah you do but you know how you get nervous when you around guys especially if it's someone you really feeling."

"I know but I'm telling you I got this."

"Okay bestie. Do you but if I see any tin-man type dance moves I'm pulling you off the floor."

"Whatever Meeka." My eyes immediately saw Malik walking through the  crowded basement toward my direction and the way he was looking at me I  knew he was coming for me.

"Oh god. Here come this nigga again. Someone looks like they mad about something." Dasani said as Tameeka shook her head.

"Best friend please handle that."

"Gladly." I replied as they walked away and he walked up to me.

"So can you please explain to me what that just was?" Malik asked through flared nostrils.

"Malik what are you talking about?"

"Come on and cut the games Kyhanna. You know what I'm talking about. I  saw you all giggly and hugged up with Kwame. So what was that?"

"It was nothing Malik. You are blowing things way out of proportion.  Kwame and I know each other and he came over to say what's up. That was  it."

"So you've been pushing off your relationship with me ‘cuz this nigga is checking for you?"

"See. That's what I'm saying. This dude came over to speak and here you  go blowing shit up. Leave me alone Malik. Where's Traniece funky ass? I  know she must be around here looking for you." I had obviously hit a  nerve with Malik and that's exactly what I wanted to do since the only  way he seemed to get the point was when he was mad. He was one of those  types of people that didn't understand when someone was trying to be  nice so I had to meet him on the level he could understand.

"Come on Kyhanna. Ain't nobody checking for Traniece and you know that so I don't know why you even bringing her up."

"I'm bringing her up ‘cuz she's the trifling ass bitch that you allowed  to come between us although I'm glad she did because I didn't want your  lame ass anyway. And I don't want you now so how about you find that  fake ass bitch and her garbage pail pussy and leave me the fuck alone!"  Before I knew it Kwame had come outside and was front and center in our  conversation.

"Kyhanna, is there a problem?" Kwame asked as he looked at me and then looked at Malik.

"Naw. Everything is cool Kwame. Our conversation was just ending." I  replied as I looked over at Malik hoping he would get the point that I  was done talking to his sorry ass.

"No disrespect to you lil bro but Kyhanna is good. We don't want no  drama. A'ight?" Kwame asked as he looked over at Malik and his attitude  seemed to be kept at bay.

"Alright bro. I'm stepping off." Malik relented and then turned around  with saying a word and walked away. Shit, the way he shut Malik up I  should have him around me all the time.

"Lil Ma you good?"

"Yeah I'm fine. I actually used to deal with Malik a few months back and  ever since we broke up he hasn't let it go. He gets on my nerves  because every time I see him he be on that same bullshit."

"It's cool. You won't have to worry about him anymore." Kwame assured me.

Just then the DJ put on No Hands by Roscoe Dash and I completely lost  it. That was one of the songs that no matter where I heard it I always  made sure I turned up. Once I heard that baseline drop, I grabbed Kwame  by the hand and said, "Let's go."

He shook his head and followed me to where everyone were dancing.

Girl the way you're movin'

Got me in a trance, DJ turn me up

Ladies this yo jam (c'mon)

I'ma sip Moscato

And you gon' lose dem pants

Then I'm throw this money while you do it with no hands …

I turned around and bent down arching my back and twerkin' my body as if  my life depended on it. I turned my head slightly to the side and could  see that he was feeling me just like I could feel the stiffness that  suddenly appeared in his jeans. I looked around and knew that every  chick at the party was currently standing around staring at me with envy  because I was dropping it on the hottest dude at the party but I was  too focused on my dance to even care.
