Killer(50)
“Are you the fucker Alex wants to put to work?” Jason asked, looking up. There was a scar down one side of his face. He looked vicious, scary, and not altogether pleasant.
“I guess so.” He took a seat in the chair opposite. “Last I checked Alex is paying you to pay me.”
“Yeah, I owe the fucker my life.” Jason pointed to his eye. “Can you at least work on cars? Last thing I need is for you to fuck up the cars we’ve already got in place.”
“Yeah, I can work on cars.”
“Good, that’s all I need to know. You’re starting on Monday. I don’t want any bad shit brought to my establishment. I hear you got a woman with you?”
“Yeah, she’s out front with Mason. You want me to introduce her?”
Jason nodded. “I want to see if she’ll cause me any trouble.”
Leaving the office he found Kelsey stood along the far wall watching Mason work on the car. “Hey, baby.” He tugged her close, slamming his lips down on hers. She moaned, opening up to him. “Kelsey, I’d like you to meet my new boss, Jason.” Killer introduced the two.
“It’s so good of you to take him,” she said, offering her hand.
“Are you satisfied?” Killer asked.
“Yeah, for now. Come back on Monday. You’ll have work waiting for you then.” Jason walked away.
Mason cleaned his hands on a towel moving toward them. “He’s moody but a good boss. You won’t be disappointed.”
Killer wouldn’t dispute that. Taking Kelsey around the town he felt himself begin to relax. The outside world could wait. For now, it was just him and Kelsey with their troubles being handled by the rest of the club. He wasn’t going to waste a single moment of it.

Slamming the door of his car, Michael buttoned up his shirt and entered The Skulls’ domain. Cars and bikes filled the compound, and the mechanic shop was closed for a change. He didn’t enter Fort Wills without being completely in the know about The Skulls.
They caused a problem for anyone who entered their territory about to break the law.
“What the fuck are you doing on my land?” Tiny said, coming out of the door. Several men and a couple of women exited the clubhouse to face him.
Michael knew all of their names, including the women. He spotted Angel instantly. One of his men thought she’d pull in a tidy sum, but there was no way any of them was willing to take on Lash. Nasty business dealing with the biker group, not to mention their connection to Chaos Bleeds, which kept most of their enemies away.
He noted Killer was missing from the group. “Where is she?” he asked.
“Who?” Zero asked.
“You can play games all you want. Kelsey is mine. It won’t be long before I get her back and Killer is in prison for kidnapping.”
The threat was not an empty one. He imagined his own enemies were already on the hunt to use her against him. Fuck, this was becoming more of a mess than he anticipated. Maybe he should have divorced her when she asked. What was the point in staying married to a woman who clearly didn’t want him?
Sandy stood glaring at him with hands on her hips.
“Do you really think this is clever keeping her away from me?”
“Kelsey wants a divorce. You ever thought she might take matters into her own hands,” Tate said, speaking up. Murphy had his hands on her shoulders keeping her back.
Tiny stared back at him, looking him up and down.
“Get inside,” Tiny said, to all of them.
Michael watched as all of Tiny’s people left him alone. “That was a bit stupid, don’t you think?”
“You’re nothing but a boy playing in a tank full of sharks. Your first mistake was coming into my town.”
“What’s my second?” Michael asked.
“Thinking we wouldn’t find out the truth.” Tiny closed the distance between them. When he placed his hands on Michael’s shoulders it took all of his strength not to crumble under the pressure. Tiny was an older man, but he sure wasn’t weak.
Tiny smirked, clearly seeing how strong he was. He fisted the lapels of his jacket. Michael jerked in his arms feeling more like a rag doll than a fully grown man.
“Michael Granito, Fort Wills is my town, and I take care of everyone in my town.”
“What the fuck are you getting at?” Michael asked, gritting the words between his teeth.
“What am I getting at?” Tiny asked, smiling.
Nodding, he glanced behind him knowing his guards were waiting for the signal to come to his aid. The last thing he needed was for this man to see him in need of help.
“I know about you. I know about the girls. If I so much as find any of our women, and I don’t just mean the club women, missing, I’m coming for you. All of my enemies have one destination. Do you know where?”
