I just smile, it’s totally understandable. You could see he was all about Elise and she’s the one he’s here to save. Not us.

“Don’t worry about it.” Natasha answers. “Take her home.”

He shakes his head. “I am not leaving you two here.” He orders the prospects to untie us too.

Out of nowhere, Bomber runs into the room with three large black tops. “Here.” He passes us each one. “These should cover you up.”

We gratefully put them on, and even Elise, who was wearing a dress, is more covered now that she’s wearing the large top.

I’m shocked to see Bomber standing beside these new bikers and he must see it by the look on my face as I stare at him. “I told you I would sort this.” He smiles.

“You told Elise’s dad?” I ask and he nods.

“Come on then girls let’s get you out of this shit hole.” Elise’s dad takes his daughter’s hand and leads her out and the rest of us follow.

The first thing that I see is a dead Chopper lying on the floor, blood surrounding where his head lays and a large bullet hole in his head.

“Fuck.” Natasha curses and I take hold of her hand as we walk, trying to hold back the sickness in my throat.

Another of the new bikers points towards the row of large wooden doors, the same as ours. “These rooms are the same as the one you were in?”

“Yes.” Elise answers but when they open each one, no girls are to be found. Weird, Chopper was supposed to be gathering all the women and making sure we were all locked away.

When we round the corner and start to enter the main areas of the clubhouse, we begin to see a lot of bodies on the ground. Men are lying on tables and awkwardly lying across chairs, all of them are covered in blood. I feel bile rise in my throat again and place a hand over my mouth, but I don’t think I can stop it.

“Oh god,” I gasp and I vomit onto the floor while Natasha rubs my back. I’m not upset about the loss of lives here it’s just seeing the blood that’s affected me.

“She ok?” I hear the British accent and know it has to belong to this new MC. I look up to see the best looking man I have ever set eyes on, and that’s saying something.

“You ok, Lauren?” Natasha asks.

“Yeah, just didn’t expect to see this.” I wipe my mouth and look away from the man. I’ve been through some shit lately, but I’m still a woman. I do not want any person to see me in this way.

“Yeah, they put up a hell of a fight, but we had to get Elise back.” He smiles down at me. “Come on, let’s get you outside. You don’t need to see this.”

He places a hand on the small of my back and guides me out as I still cling to Natasha’s hand. I stop when I see a certain man lying on the floor. His eyes are wide open, but I know he isn’t alive.

“Oh my god.” I kneel down beside him and feel sadness spread over me. I didn’t know him well, but out of everyone here, this man was probably the most caring one.

I hear feet behind me and the stranger looks down at me, confusion on his face and then behind him I see Bomber. “I’m so sorry.” I say to him and his head drops.

“As soon as Demon found out I was behind this, he put a gun to his head.” He joins me on the floor beside his dad and closes his dad’s eyes. Bomber helps me stand and just as we’re about to leave the clubhouse doors, the very one’s I tried to run out of when I was attending my first club party, a man comes running up to us.

“So, where is Demon?” I dare to ask and by the look on Bomber’s face I know what’s coming. “He got away didn’t he?”

Bomber nods. “Yeah, a few other men did too.”

I bitterly laugh. “Don’t tell me, Strike?”

He nods again. “And Switch.”

This just gets better and better.

“Grim! We found the rest of the girls.” He begins. “They’re all in the back.”

“Let’s go and get them then.” Natasha runs and I follow.

“No wait!” The man tries to stop us, but we go anyways and when we go into the back we know the room he’s talking about because other bikers are staring into it. We join them and what greets us is disgusting. Every woman I have known since I have been here is dead on the floor. Even Tracy, and the other women who were here by choice. Seems we weren’t that far apart on the Devil’s concerns as we thought.

“Let’s get you out of here.” Comes the British man from before. “You don’t need to see this.”

Gunshots sound from outside and suddenly everyone is running towards the front.
