Just One Taste(23)
When he stood up again, he smacked her ass hard enough to jar that plug inside her and make her jangly and achy all over again.
“You did well, but don’t forget for a second that I was in control. I won’t be so easy on you next time.” He slid the condom off, tied it and threw it away before washing his hands again. He had a brisket to serve. Cooking and sex. His two favorite things and all in one night. He intended it to be routine after tonight.
“My bottom is sore and there’s a plug in it, so I wouldn’t say you were so easy, Sir.” The sass was back in her voice.
He would let her hide for a little while longer. “Wash up and get dressed then come downstairs. You’ll be by my side for the rest of the evening.”
Her head came up, a frown on that pretty face as he tugged his shirt over his head and slipped into his boots. “Uhm, shouldn’t you help me up and treat me like a princess?”
“Baby, I did. My princess likes orgasms.” He kissed the top of her head, well aware of what her real problem was. “Don’t you dare lose that plug.”
“Eric, how am I supposed to get off this thing without losing the plug?”
Yeah, he totally had a sadistic side. He patted her pretty ass. “You’re a smart girl. I have faith in you. Five minutes, Deena, or I’ll send someone up to get you. And never, ever forget that I can be a bad boy and a good man.”
“You’re not being a very good man right now,” she groused.
He couldn’t help the grin that came over his face. “You never know what you’ll get, baby. See you in a few.”
As he closed the door, he could have sworn he heard her laughing.
CHAPTER SEVEN
Eric stared out the front window of his truck. His pretty sub was a definite distraction, but Dallas traffic required all of his attention. “I said it’s puppy play night.”
Deena turned in her seat. He’d come to think of it as hers since she spent so much time in it. Way more time than anyone else had ever spent. He picked her up and drove her home every day from work and then again to the club during training classes. Often he would come inside and work the plug into her backside before taking her hard and fast.
They still hadn’t done it in a damn bed. She seemed to like the fervent, D/s oriented sex. He was getting too old to fuck standing up. He wanted more. He wanted to get her in bed and take his time, getting his mouth on her. Yeah, he hadn’t done that yet, either. Every time they started moving toward serious intimacy, she would pull away and he would end up going home frustrated as hell.
“I’m not sure about puppy play night,” she said.
“Really? Because you put it down as something you were interested in.” He hadn’t mentioned it to her because she’d marked it on her contract, checking the yes box with the same blue check she’d used on bondage, suspension play, and impact play.
She crossed her arms over her chest, staring out the front window as he inched forward. Silence came from her side of the car.
“Baby, did you think you would literally be playing with puppies?” She’d been a newbie coming into the training program, all of her knowledge having come from books she’d read, and not nonfiction. Though she’d been given a list of nonfiction to read, now he wondered if she’d bothered or thought that Amber Rose’s romance novels covered it all. They apparently hadn’t covered puppy play, which did not involve actual puppies. Or she was freakier than he’d ever imagined. “Baby, you didn’t think we were going to do something sexual with small dogs. Please tell me that’s not true.”
They were stopped on the freeway, so he managed to get a glimpse of her flushing.
“Don’t be nasty. I never thought that. I hadn’t heard of it before the class and it sounded like it would be fun. I thought maybe it was like a bonding experience for subs. Now that someone explained it to me it sounds weird, and I am not peeing on a fire hydrant for you.”
He burst into laughter at the very thought. She always went to the extreme. It was one of the things he’d discovered about her over the weeks they’d been together. She found humor in taking something to its odd limit. “I was never going to make you urinate on a fire hydrant. I got you a kitty litter box.”
Her outraged gasp filled his soul with joy. “Eric!”
The traffic eased and he let off the brake. They had another ten or fifteen minutes until they got to the club. He could convince her. “Baby, that would fall under water sport and we agreed not to do that. Relax. It’s nothing more than a little fun role-play.”
“I’m not sure how pretending to be a puppy is going to be fun,” she groused. “Getting to play with a bunch of puppies, now that would be fun.”
“I’ll try to arrange that for you.” Maybe for her birthday. Certainly there had to be a place where he could rent puppies. Maybe. Her birthday was a couple of months away. He had some time. But he only had another couple of minutes to convince her to play his pet for the night. He’d been looking forward to it all week long. “But for tonight all you have to do is follow my lead and everything will be all right.”
She frowned his way. “Will I have to crawl around?”
“I think you’ll likely be a lap puppy.” He wouldn’t want her very far away. He’d gotten used to having her on his lap most of the time when they were in the club. “You might sit at my feet, but I promise I won’t make you do anything you don’t want to. Have I ever done that?”
“Well, I wasn’t thrilled about the plug.” She leaned against her side of the truck, her head resting pensively against the glass of the window. Her eyes stared out ahead, but he knew the expression. She got it when she was thinking too much, when she felt too much. “No, you haven’t. It’ll be fine. I’m sure I’ll enjoy it.”
Something was off with her. He’d noticed it when he’d picked her up. No plug for her tonight since she likely would end up in some odd positions. At first he’d wondered if she seemed off because he’d changed their routine. Now he wondered. “We don’t have to play at all tonight if you don’t want to.”
She gave him a half smile. “I can handle puppy play, Eric. Most of the BDSM stuff is weird at first and then I enjoy it. It’s opened me to a lot of new experiences.” She was quiet for a moment. “I’m enjoying myself. I don’t think I would be if you weren’t my Dom.”
And that scared her. He wasn’t a fool. “Well, I am. You’re doing very well. I think you’ll breeze through the rest of the class.”
She was suddenly interested in the view outside again. “I hope so. I’ve got a lot of changes coming up in my life. More than one graduation.”
He was well aware that she was going to graduate from college soon. He’d been looking into presents for his smart, hard-working sub. “Are you excited about it? You’ve worked very hard. Not many people can get through college in four years while working a full-time job. You should be very proud of yourself.”
She slid him a long look. “It was four and a half years, but who’s counting? And I haven’t graduated yet. It’s going to be odd to not go to school every day. It’s been a very long while since I had anything vaguely resembling free time.”
“Have you thought about taking some time for yourself?” He wondered if she would take a trip or do something to celebrate.
She shook her head. “No.” She was quiet for a moment. “There’s something I haven’t told you.”
He took the exit and turned right, his gut knotting. He didn’t like the tone of her voice, the sadness he heard behind it. “What is it? Deena, you can tell me anything. I would rather know.”
“I have a job lined up in Fort Worth.”
He breathed a sigh of relief. He knew that. Did he think she could tell Tiffany and Ally something and not have it get all around the restaurant? “Of course you do. I didn’t think you would stay working as a waitress after you finished college. It’s kind of the point of finishing college. No one expected you to stay on at Top.”
“Oh.” Her shoulders dropped as though that wasn’t the response she’d been expecting.
It was these moments that gave him hope. She didn’t like the fact that he wasn’t flipping out over the idea of her leaving. He had some news of his own. “I’m leaving Top, too.”
“What?” She turned fully in her seat as he pulled up to the gate and put in his access code. “You can’t leave Top. You’re the sous chef. Oh my god, is this because you had that drink with Tim Love?”
It was not freaking disloyal to have a damn Scotch with another chef. “No. I’m opening a franchise of Top in Fort Worth. I already found a space right off Sundance Square. I’d really like for you to take a look at it with me this weekend.”
He eased through the gated entrance. Before Eric had joined the club there had been some douchebag who had blown up the first building. Big Tag took no chances now. The entryway was closed with a super heavy gate that it would likely take a tank to get through, and Eric wouldn’t be surprised if there were snipers watching him right now. From what he’d heard, the newbies at McKay-Taggart had their own crap jobs to do before being deemed fit for the field, and one of them was working security for Sanctum.
