Journey to Fortune(19)
The sight of Hudson's handsome face, crew-cut hair, and beautiful hazel eyes brought tears to her eyes.
"What's wrong?" he asked, giving her hips a squeeze. She felt Jagger's cock against her puckered hole.
"Nothing, Hudson. You're just so beautiful, and so is Jagger. I feel lucky."
"We're the lucky ones," Jagger said then kissed her shoulder as he wrapped an arm around her waist and slowly pushed through the tight rings. She lifted up with Hudson's help and then Jagger shoved in to the hilt.
She moaned and the lovemaking began. Not fast and wild, but slow and deep. It was torture of the best kind, and Tia Rose was nearly lost in the power of their connection.
"Ours, always. Right, Tia Rose?" Hudson asked as he cupped her breasts and pumped his hips upward. She tilted her head back as both men filled her.
"Yours, always," she said, and then they began to increase their speed. They pumped their hips and made love to her deeply, until all three of them were moaning and panting.
"Oh my God, this is incredible. Never like this, baby. Never." Jagger carried on and she knew exactly what he meant. This was amazing.
Hudson grabbed a hold of her shoulders and pressed them down as he pumped upward. She hugged his chest, wrapped her arms underneath him, tilting her ass back and upward, giving Jagger deeper penetration. In and out, up and down, they were wild, until they all moaned and exploded together as one.
Tia Rose held Hudson close. The three of them were locked together, trying to catch their breath and recover from their lovemaking.
"Nothing to worry about, baby. Nothing can come between us. This is destiny," Hudson said as he kissed her.
She smiled at the thought, even though deep in her gut she wasn't too sure. Something was bothering her. Perhaps it was that uneasy feeling after the break-in at her apartment? She wasn't sure. Or maybe the thought that someone was watching her? She willed the fears away. She wouldn't let ghosts ruin her time with Hudson and Jagger.
She would love them as long as they were together.
Chapter 10
Tia Rose listened carefully to the message on her cell phone. The voice was mumbled or disguised in some way, but the threat was clear. Someone wanted to hurt her. The voice said that they were coming for her, and very soon.
She swallowed hard, and felt her chest tighten with fear. Her first instinct was to call Hudson and Jagger. But one, they were upset with her for not going with them to their vacation home this morning, so she could give them ideas to decorate.
She had work and she also felt that it was important for them to know she enjoyed her job and needed to take things slow with them. Their talk of forever, and of course moving into their penthouse, kept her up most of last night. Secondly, she didn't want them involved with this situation. It could be her brother, Sean, trying to scare her before he showed up. There really wasn't anyone else who wanted to hurt her. Well, that she knew of.
"Hey, are you okay?" Alexa asked as she walked back to her desk. Tia Rose hadn't even heard her approach.
"Yes, I was daydreaming."
"Oh, who is he and does he have a brother?" Alexa asked and Tia Rose felt her cheeks go very hot. Boy, did he have a brother, and he's mine, too.
"That good, huh? I wish I could meet some handsome guy to whisk me away from this life. All I do is work," Alexa complained. The phone on her desk rang and she rolled her eyes and then answered it.
"It's for you. Line one."
"Oh, I'll take it inside my office."
Tia Rose walked to her desk and picked up the phone. That uncertain feeling was becoming worse.
"Hey, beautiful. Do you regret not taking a few days off and joining us?" Jagger asked. She smiled. His voice alone made everything instantly better.
"Not yet. Too much work to be done here."
"Well, you seriously have to start planning a vacation. We want to spend some quality time with you. What are you doing for lunch?"
"I have a meeting downtown, lunch included, and then I need to head back here to get some more designs done."
"Shit. Okay, well, how about we catch up tonight. We can meet you at your place?"
She really wanted them to. It would make her feel safer, especially after the phone call. Maybe she should tell Jagger about it? Maybe she should call the detectives?
"Tia? What's wrong?"
She took a deep breath, and then released it.
"Nothing. I guess stopping by would be great. I miss you both already."
"Ha! Told you that would happen. How is seven? Does that give you enough time?"
"Yes. That will be perfect. I'll call you later, or maybe text you during the meeting."
"Okay. Later, baby."
"Later, Jagger."
She hung up the phone, and smiled. Thoughts of seeing Jagger and Hudson tonight would be her sole focus. Not the threatening phone call.
He waited outside the building. Lucky for him, it was getting dark and the cops wouldn't see him. That was if they were even around. Sean hadn't seen one yet. He knew his sister was in the office building. She took the bus and would be coming out soon. The moment he saw her, he was on the move. He figured it would be best if they walked and talked as opposed to taking the bus. He didn't want to be stuck like that in case he needed to bail.
Tia Rose walked along the sidewalk, and when he had the chance, he approached form behind.
"Hey, kid. We need to talk."
She swung around fast, and when he caught sight of her close up, he was stunned at how beautiful his sister was. She looked incredible.
"Sean? Holy shit. What are you doing here? I heard that the police are looking for you. What in the world?" He grabbed her and pulled her toward the side of the building and away from people.
"Hey, I need some help."
"No. I don't want to get involved. I haven't seen from you or heard from you in five years."
"I've been on my own for four of those five years."
"What? Dad and Mom said that you lived with them."
"They're fucking liars and thieves. I haven't lived with them in years. I needed to get out once you left. They went psycho." He looked away from her and hoped that she couldn't see the light scar by his eye. His father broke a vase and cut him while they fought the night Sean left.
"I couldn't handle the pain anymore, Tia."
"But you were with them. You sat there and let them treat me that way. I couldn't handle the pain either, or make up excuses anymore about my bruises and cuts. You didn't stand up for me. You were too busy shooting up or out drinking."
She tried to walk away but he stopped her by grabbing her arm.
"Tia, I fucked up. I was twenty years old and had nothing to my name. I left a year after you did. I got involved with some people who helped straighten me out."
"Really? Then how the hell did you wind up in an armed robbery in Missouri?"
He looked away and then back at her as he placed his hands in his jean pockets.
"I was there. Guilty by association. The crazy fuckers said they were going in for beer. Next thing I know, they're drawing guns, the storeowner is drawing his gun, and it's all a blaze of glory shit. I ducked and got the hell out of there."
"Then why did you run from the police? Why not turn yourself in and tell them your side of the story?"
"And they would believe some kid living on the streets."
She stared at him, and it made him feel lower than dirt.
"You're not a kid anymore, Sean. You're twenty-six years old. You need to start thinking about a future. Getting your ass straightened out."
"I fucked up, okay? I know I did. We didn't exactly come from a great home, Tia. How the fuck am I supposed to get anywhere if no one will hire me for a job?"
"I did. I went to school, I got my degree, and I worked three jobs. Two during the week, and one on the weekends. I got out and I survived."
"You think you're so much better? Then why the hell are you still sending them money? They talk about you like you were trash, and what about the fat jokes, the nastiness. If they were here right now, they'd hit you. Fuck, Dad would beat you until you were dead."
She stepped back, and he saw the tears in her eyes begin to fall down her cheeks.
He ran his hands through his hair.
"Fuck, Tia. I'm sorry. I'm desperate. Please. Just help me out. All I need is some money."
"You need to turn yourself in."
"And then what? Spend time in jail for a crime I didn't commit?"
"No, plead your case."
"With an appointed lawyer fresh out of law school? No, thank you. I like being free."
"I don't know what to tell you. Hey, did you call my cell phone and threaten me today?"
"What? No. What phone call? Someone threatened you?"
"Forget it. I need to go."
He grabbed her arm.
"Please, Tia. I need help."
She looked at him and he wished things had been different. He wished he could change the way their lives were, and how he hadn't stuck up for her when they were at home in Missouri.
