“Should I call Kalie? Let her know what has happened?” I see Ade flinch at the mention of her name. Vicky shakes her head.
“No, there’s no point now. She will just flip out and drive down here. I’ll let her know next time I see her.”
Our daughter
After everyone leaves, I sit next to Vicky, with Pipper on my lap.
“You okay baby?” I ask, taking her hand in mine.
“I’m okay, I’ll be fine. Just promise me Blake, promise me you want this for the long run.”
I look to her, squeezing her hand lightly. “Baby, I am not going anywhere, you are it for me. I will spend the rest of my life making it up to you.” She smiles, then looks down to Pipper with her hands out. “Come here, Princess.” I hand Pipper to her, and sit back and watch as Vicky plays with our daughter. Our daughter. My family unit was so small before I met Vicky; now I feel as though it has expanded overnight. My club and my sister will always be my family, but these girls right here? They are my reason for living.
I need to marry this girl.
Four months later
Vicky
“Blake, she’s walking along furniture, look!” I say to him as I point proudly at my little cub.
“Come here my princess, come to daddy!” Blake says while kneeling on the ground, trying to get her to walk to him.
“Blake, she is 8 months old, not one year old. She can’t walk yet,” I say, rolling my eyes. The door bursts open, with Zane, Ade, Felix, Harvey, Chad, Ollie, Phoebe and Alaina walking in.
“Come to your favourite uncle, Pumpkin,” Ade says, getting down next to her on the floor. Ade is an amazing uncle, as they all are. I look over to Phoebe.
“Are you all settled?” I ask her. Phoebe has just moved to West Beach to continue her work from here; she decided she wanted to be closer to family, and her boss loves her that much that she decided Phoebe could fly in and fly out every week.
“I am all settled, thank you for all the help,” she says appreciatively to both Alaina and I.
“No problem, baby girl!” Alaina replies as she lies down on the floor next to her goddaughter, beginning to play with her and Ade. I see Zane walk over to them possessively. I roll my eyes, because some shit never changes.
“So, are we doing a BBQ at the clubhouse tonight?” I ask everyone.
“Yep, sure are. Should we head down now and get started on prepping everything?” Alaina asks Phoebe and me. We both agree, and once we pack up a bag for Pipper, we make our way to the clubhouse; leaving the men to sort out their business that they have to sort every day.
Since Blake and I have been together, we decided to keep Sinsation. With Corrin in prison, it was automatically handed over to Blake, who; as turns out, owned 51% of the club; as opposed to her 49%. Me and Pippa moved into Blake’s house after I made him kid proof the entire section, and while he was doing that, he decided to turn his whole back yard into the ultimate kid area; complete with a playground and tree houses scattered all over the yard like little hobbit homes. I also run the books for Blake’s construction company, which takes up a lot of my time; it is a huge company, with over fifty employees. Yeah, full time.
Blake and I are doing really well; he tells me what I want to know with the club, but other than that, he tries his best to keep me out of all the bad shit. Because we have a daughter, he has more to lose; so he makes sure she is kept under wraps for the most part. But the club is my family, and right now, I could not be happier.
Once we get to the clubhouse, we unpack everything out of the trunk and make our way into the kitchen area. I start to make up the cheesecake mix, while one of the prospects takes Pipper over to the playground to keep her busy. After we have done everything, all three of us make our way upstairs to get changed and ready for the night.
Coming back downstairs, I take Pipper back off Trevor and go to sit by Blake.
“Here are my girls,” he says, getting up and kissing us both, me on the lips, and Pipper on the forehead. “I want you to meet someone,” he points down to a beautiful woman with dyed red hair and bright blue eyes. Wow, she is really stunning. “This is Abby, you’ve heard about her.” I nod my head and reach over to shake her hand.
“Hi, it’s nice to finally meet you,” I say as I sit down next to Blake.
“Nice to meet you too, and who is this beautiful girl?” she asks, holding her hands out to Pipper. I automatically hand her over, and I see Pipper loves her instantly; I smile at the sight in front of me. I look over to Phoebe, who is sitting right next to her brother; although she is 21, Blake will not let her out of his sight.
