Initiate Me(44)

By:Elle Raven

What the fuck! “Lady, you have lost your fucking mind. Let me be clear and to the point once again. You cheated on me. We broke up. I don't want your skanky arse back in my bed. How much clearer can I be?"

"But..."

"Let me finish. And this better get through that thick head of yours. Firstly, I am with someone else, someone I want to be with. Secondly, I want you to stay the hell out of my life. For good. Finally, I do not want you anywhere near my work, my house and most definitely not my bed.

“Listen up, Jessica. You were the biggest mistake of my life. I've moved on. I realise now you were nothing more than an easy lay. I'm warning you; don't fuck with me because I'll have you locked up so fast you won't know what hit you."

She immediately attacked me, clawing at my face, but I didn't care. I was blind-sided and didn't see her attack coming. All I wanted was her off my fucking property and out of my life. I brought my hand up and wiped the blood I could feel trailing down my cheek. Great, how am I going to explain this to Mia?

I was mere inches from her face but she didn't even flinch; the bitch had no fear. "And one more thing. Don't even think about going near me, my friends or my family because I promise I will make your life a living nightmare.”

And with that, I signalled for one of my bouncers to lead her outside. She left, but it sure wasn't willingly.

“We were meant to be, Zane. You'll regret this!” Her arms were flapping above her head as the bouncer dragged her outside. I waited for the front doors of the pub to close and I walked over to Pete, "Sorry about that. If she ever comes here again, please call me as soon as possible, got it?"

“Yes, I will; no worries about that.” He nodded.

“Thanks, Pete."

After one of the most amazing nights, I had to go and have one of the crappiest mornings. Instead of waking up to Mia and getting my fill of her again, I had to deal with that shit. I'd mentally planned to spend the whole day with Mia, get to know her better, teach her a few more things sexually; instead, I had to make a few quick calls to my police contacts down in Adelaide so I could get a restraining order in place.

Then I had to think about how the hell I was going to explain the scratch marks on my face and why I smelt like a two-bit whore straight out of a brothel.

Just fucking great!

Chapter Fifteen

MIA

I heard the bedroom door close but I didn't move a muscle from the bath I was taking in Zane's en-suite. I was in fact sore and Zane's luxurious bathroom makeover was so enticing I never wanted to leave.

“Angel?”

“In here!” I answered with a small smile curving my lips. I loved it when he called me that.

“Goddamn...” he mumbled.

He walked through the bathroom door and my seductive smile died on my lips. “What the fuck happened to you?” He looked awful, like he'd had a fight with a gladiator. “Oh, my God, are you okay?”

“I'm fine,” he replied softly. I watched in stunned silence as he began stripping off his clothes. When he walked over and stood next to the bathtub, I licked my lips.

“You don't look fine to me. Perhaps you better explain why you have a bloody face and pink lipstick on your chin?” No way was I letting him in the tub with me unless he explained himself.

“Dammit, Mia!” he hisses. “Let me get in with you so I can feel you against me again.”

Ha! He thinks it's that easy. I want answers first. “I don’t think so. Start talking, stud.”

“Fucking hell, you can bust my balls any other day, but let me feel you against me, angel. I need to calm the hell down.” He climbed over the edge and settled himself behind me, pulling me against his front and rubbing his hands across every inch of my skin.

“I hate to point out the obvious, big boy, but it doesn’t seem to be working,” I told him when I instantly felt his hard length against my back. "Um...Zane...it doesn't feel like you’re calm."

“Mmm, no, sweetheart, it doesn’t,” he said, peppering a few kisses against my shoulder. “I really don't want to talk about this right now, but I can't avoid it. I certainly don't want to keep anything from you, ever. I just don't want you to get upset or scared over it."

“What will I get upset or scared about? Tell me," I pressed.

“Angel, I don't want to rush this. You know just as well as I do that you and I are happening. You are not some cheap thrill, or someone I'm going to discard after one night. But you feel it, I know you do."

“Stop evading the inevitable and tell me what happened this morning," I pestered him.

“It was Jessica, my ex."

I remembered Zane having a fiancée a few years ago. Apparently, she ran off and did the dirty on Zane with one of his colleagues. I had never met her, but Max detested her.
