Hot Single Dad(19)

I get up and he turns me around to face him, wielding the sponge. He covers the bottom half of me in suds with the sponge and then dips it in the water and uses it to rinse me off.

“Now for that check,” he says. “Did I get all the sand out?”

He drops the sponge in the water and pulls me toward his mouth, diving into my folds with his tongue, holding me steady in his hands.

“No sand,” he says, after he has driven me distracted with his tongue and my legs are threatening to collapse, so it’s just as well he’s holding onto me. “You’re clean.”

“And you’re very, very dirty. But I like it.”

He laughs. “And I plan to get dirtier.” He gets up and we step out. He wraps a fresh towel around us both. Our bodies mold together, soft and hard. We just seem to fit, but I’m squirming with the need that he started in the bathtub.

Once we dry off a little, he kisses me and lifts my bottom onto the countertop, spreading my legs by stepping between them. “Not sore from last night?”

I’m rubbing myself against him, and he grins down at me. He knows he has me all worked up and needy. “No, not sore. I couldn’t feel better.”

He slides deep into me and oh, that’s so good. “You feel perfect to me,” he says.

I start to say, “Likewise,” but the word turns into a moan of pleasure as he thrusts into me again, so hard it takes my breath away and I have to hang onto him for dear life. He drives into me, fast and deep, again and again, his solid flesh against my clit with each stroke, sending me insane with lust. “Oh, right there, yes!”

I’m spread wide open for him, all his, frantic for release as he powers into me. And then it happens. I jerk against him, with an agonized sound that reverberates in the small bathroom, and he speeds up even more hearing that, and lets go, his cock spasming inside me as growls out his own pleasure from deep in his throat.

“Happy?” he asks once we are lying in bed.

“I don’t think I’ve ever been happier.”

“Me neither,” he says. “And we have another whole day here. Bliss!”

But things don’t quite work out how we expect.

CHAPTER 20

Reid

I wake up with Holly, the sun streaming through the curtains. She stirs when I stretch out and smiles at me.

“The rebels will be awake in a moment wanting to get back on the beach.” I wish I could stay in bed all day with Holly.

“What time is it?”

I look at my watch. “Just after seven.”

“I’ll make some breakfast.”

“You’ll do no such thing. Lie there, and I’ll be right back.”

I bring her juice and coffee and toast. “I have to keep up your energy.”

She smiles. “You too. But you seemed energetic enough to me last night, Mr. Marshall.”

“As did you, Miss Jamieson. I’m just banking on you needing more energy later. For helping me with the kids, you understand.”

“I understand completely, Mr. Marshall. Completely.”

“Good. That’s settled then.”

She takes a bite of her toast. “I can hear someone out of bed, probably wanting their breakfast.”

The twins spring into the room. “What are we going to do today, Daddy?” Katie, asks.

“Can we go swimming with dolphins or sea lions?” Jack wants to know.

“There are no dolphins or sea lions here, last I looked, but we can go swimming once you’ve had your breakfast and given the sun a chance to make the sea warmer.”

“Holly too?”

“Yes, if she wants to.”

“Yay! Holly’s coming swimming.” He jumps on the bed and Katie joins him.

“Okay, time for breakfast before you break the bed. Leave Holly to enjoy her toast in peace.”

It’s even warmer on the beach today than it was yesterday. Katie and Jack play around in the sand and only need us to break up the occasional squabble.

I look over at Holly. I can hardly believe she is here with me, that last night was not some kind of dream I am going to wake up from any moment.

“Are you ready for a swim?” I ask. “You know it’s going to be freezing, don’t you?”

“I was hoping it would just be refreshing.”

“Depends on your definition of refreshing. I have to remind myself not to curse like a sailor every time I go in—the kids are bound to repeat my choice phrases in front of their grandparents next weekend.”

“It’s good you stayed in touch with them.”

“Yes, they love the kids to bits.” I look over to make sure the twins are not able to hear me, but keep my voice low just in case. “It’s not their fault that their daughter turned into a bitch when she became famous. Sometimes, I can’t believe she’s theirs.”
