She’d be theirs. In every way imaginable.

He couldn’t wait.

Chapter Four

“Damn it!” Kristyn swore as she stared at the showerhead. Bent over the tub, she swung the taps in every direction she could but nothing happened. No water spouted overhead. No water filled up the tub. Nothing. Nada. “I paid the bill. I’m sure I did!”

Clad in only a terrycloth robe she stepped out of her room and called out, “Scott?”

He opened his bedroom door and stuck his head out. “Yeah?”

“Do you have water in your en-suite?”

“You don’t?”

She shook her head and watched as he disappeared, only to reappear a moment later. “I do. Is there something wrong with your bathroom?”

“I was going to take a shower, but there’s no water. I thought maybe it was everywhere in the house.”

“Doesn’t seem like it. D’you want to use mine while I go check what’s wrong with yours?”

She opened her mouth to say no, but the opposite words came out. Exasperated at herself, she quickly brushed past him with a mumbled thank you. He took off in the direction of her room, and as she stepped around the piles of clothes decorating his floor, she fought the urge to scream.

She’d had a day from hell at work. Her students, usually bright and cheerful, had been in a funk because of a surprise test their Math teacher had sprung during the class right before hers. They’d been cantankerous, some downright rude, and it’d taken everything she had to keep the class under control.

Now she was tired and hungry, but she wanted a shower first. Then, maybe, and probably not at that, she’d cook dinner. Considering her mood, she was going to get the guys to order pizzas and be done with it.

Still ruminating, she turned on the faucet and sighed in relief when blessed water sprang forth. Letting the robe fall down behind her, she stepped under the spray and, for the first time that day, began to relax.

“Babe, I’m not sure what’s wrong with it. I guess we’ll have to call someone to take a look if it doesn’t—”

Scott’s voice penetrated the fog surrounding her brain. She whirled around and shrieked.

He was standing in the middle of the bathroom, the shower’s glass door definitely not thick enough to hide her.

She watched as his gaze travelled up her body to finally lock with hers. Unable to move, she remained immobile and fought the urge to cover herself.

“I heard noise. What’s going on?” Drew appeared behind his friend, his eyes instantly taking it all in. “Well, hello there,” he added as he stared at her breasts. “Having fun without me, guys? That’s not very nice.”

Kris hiccupped. What had he meant by that? What the hell was going on? “It’s not—”

Scott cut her off, “You’re a real blonde.”

She felt her eyes widen until she probably looked as if she was having a heart attack. “What?”

“You’ve got one sexy body,” Drew agreed, stepping further into the room.

“What?” she heard herself repeat. Had she fallen into another universe? Was that it?

“You heard me,” he drawled back. “Want us to join you?”

“Us?” she repeated, her voice strangled. Did that mean what she thought it meant? Had they gone completely crazy?

“Us both,” Scott confirmed, and as she watched, he grabbed the hem of his T-shirt. It landed at his feet, soon joined by his friend’s tee.

Kris found herself leaning against the back of the shower, not even feeling the cold seeping in from the tiles pressed against her spine. She was too busy wondering what the hell had happened. They were slowly undressing, clearly giving her time to say no. Stop them. Anything.

And what was she doing? Nothing!

She bit on her lower lip hard enough to draw blood, but even that had no effect. Her gaze focused on them, on their rippled six-packs, on their skin tanned from working out so many days in the sun, on their thick cocks pointing at the ceiling.

She gulped. They were hard…for her. Because of her, even. That was the weirdest thing in it all, that someone like her, who hadn’t had sex in more years that she could remember, would entice them in such a way. She heard herself ask, “Are you sure?”

They both stilled to a stop only inches from the shower door. “What do you mean, baby?”

She stared up at Scott and licked her lips, suddenly dry even though she still stood underneath the spray of water. “I’m not really your type of woman.”

Drew spoke up then, his eyebrows merged together, his face dark. “How do you know that? You’ve never seen either of us with a woman.”
