Gilded Lily(52)

By:Pauline Allan

Tony nestled his lips next to Adam’s ear. “Don’t do this for Lily. She’ll know you don’t like it. She won’t trust you. You have to do it because you crave it and desire it. Fuck, Adam, faster—go f-faster.”

Tony gently bit Adam on the neck. Adam bucked his hips and rolled toward Tony, holding tight on to his heavy cock. “Touch it. L-like you touch yourself.”

Adam’s biceps curled, and his forearm flexed as he pounded the orgasm out of Tony. Adam pinned him on his back as he rocked his hand over the tip of the glistening head. Adam’s cock spewed semen over his hand and down onto Tony’s rigid stomach.

Both men lay still as Adam tried to control his heaving breaths. Adam wiped his hand on the blanket and sat up. Tony patted him on the shoulder, the best reassuring gesture he could have given at the moment. Adam wouldn’t look back at him.

“It feels good to touch another man, doesn’t it?”

“Fuck, I had no idea.” Adam’s voice was unsure. “It’s not soft like Lily. She’s so soft and…”

Tony laughed. “She’s not as soft as you think. Wait and see.”

Adam finally found the courage to look back at Tony. “Please don’t tell her about this. I don’t know about all this yet.”

“Your secret is safe with me, but I don’t know how long you’re going to be able to keep this quiet.”

“Why’s that?”

“Because now you’ve been tempted, like Lily tempted me. It’s all about pleasure, my good friend, and you’ve only seen the tip of the iceberg.”

LILY STEPPED INTO the shower and let the hot water sting her face. The smell of coconut and semen filtered through the steam. She tried to ignore the ache permeating her chest, but she couldn’t help but rub between her breasts. How could she have been so naive? As she lathered her hair, she couldn’t get the look on Adam’s face out of her head. The tears began to well again. She’d thought he might be the man who could open up to her. Now she knew for sure he wasn’t the one. All she could think about was how she’d let Tony down again.

Why hadn’t she pushed Tony’s hand away? She knew why. Nicholas and the businessman were the last men she had seen together. Tony knew her desire was strong. He was trying to please her. She’d terribly misjudged Adam’s sexual tastes. She’d figured if he was willing to experiment with her and Renee, maybe he would be open to this as well.

How could she have been so wrong?

Soap cascaded down her back as she slicked her palm against her scalp. If only he’d give it a chance. He’d like it. Most men would if they’d relax and let it happen. At first Tony had been reluctant to give in. He was more open than most men, certainly more so than Keith had been. The look on Adam’s face reminded her of Keith’s when he’d basically kicked her out of the apartment. She rubbed the slippery bar of soap between her hands. The tricky bar dropped on the floor. “Dammit!”

“There’s no reason to swear just because you dropped the soap.” Adam’s deep voice floated through the steam.

“What do you want?” she asked.

He pressed his palms flat against the shower door and smiled. “I want you, Lily. I’m sorry I hurt you.”

“You didn’t hurt me. Now please go.”

“I don’t think I can do that.”

“Why not?” she asked.

“Because you never told me which costume to wear.”

She turned around, rinsing her hair again, trying to act as if his presence didn’t unnerve every one of her senses. “I told you, one that conceals and excites. Ask Tony what he’s wearing.”

“I guess I’ll surprise you then.” Lily looked over her shoulder. His big palm was still flattened against the glass. “Don’t worry about me talking to Tony. We’re going to be hanging out again very soon. I’ll be sure to ask him about a costume.”

Lily turned and wiped the steam from the glass so she could get a better look at his face. His smile had faded. She pressed her palm against the glass, widening her fingers, trying to mirror his hand. “Okay,” she said.

Adam leaned his forehead against the door. “Bend over and pick up that soap.”

She laughed. “You’re full of it.”

“Bend over and you’re going to be full of it.” She loved the way his smile brightened the darkness in his eyes.

Adam backed away from the glass, leaving his palm print. Lily’s hand lingered. “Make sure I can tell who you are when you come to the ball,” she said.

“We’ll see,” Adam said as he pointed to the floor of the shower where the pink bar of soap rested.
