"Did you bring your one-night stands here?" She says as she looks around the room.
"I've fucked women here. Before I showed up at your house on Saturday I had the furniture moved out of here along with the mattresses. I had the room sanitized and painted. I had brand new furniture brought in. Everything's new in the bathroom as well." I tell her because I refuse to lie.
"Have you fucked Tori?" She asks me
"I don't fuck my employee's babe. I'll keep an eye on Tori. If I feel she needs to be replaced from being my secretary. I'll move her to a different department."
"Why do you need a bed in here now?" She asks with a smile.
"So I can fuck you here if I want to Babe." I say with a cocky grin and a smirk.
She laughs and I grab her and kiss her hard and then smack her ass.
"I want to show you around a little more before we have to leave."
I take her back to my office and show her the view from my seat.
"The mine runs twenty-four hours a day five days a week. I want my employees to have a life outside of the mine. I pay for their health care and screenings for black lung and different cancer's you can get working the mines. The other Mining Companies thought I was a joke because I was so young. Over the past five years I've got a great record with a low turnover rate with my employees. My coal is being mined at an elevated rate because of it." I tell her.
"You were still in college five years ago honey." She says as she looks at me.
"I bought the company with my trust fund and inheritance from my parents and grandparents. I hired some amazing people that taught me what I needed to learn. I graduated from college two years ago." I tell her.
"You're amazing you know that right?" She says with a smile and love in her eyes.
"Thanks baby doll. That means a lot coming from you. I want you to meet the Vice President of my company. You'll like him babe." I say as I kiss her one more time.
She tells me to show her the way. I laugh to myself because she's going to be surprised when we get to his office. I walk down the hall to his office and Whistler smiles at us.
"Good morning Y'all. Just knock he's expecting y'all." She says to us with a smile.
"Doors open come in." He says when I knock on the door.
I open the door and Captain looks up from his computer and smiles. Lyric looks at him and then realizes who she's seeing.
"Papaw what are you doing here?"
"When your man bought this place he was looking for someone to hire with experience and knowledge. We started talking one day at Mag's Bar over a beer and he was telling me that he couldn't find anyone for the position he needed. The people he talked to just laughed because they saw a young kid. I told him that I would help him get his company running. Show him what he needed to do and learn. I also told him I would help him run the business while he was still in school. We shook hands and I showed up here the following Monday. I told him that I own the other side of the road and hill.
"You own the MC?" He asked with a stunned expression.
I told him I did and that I was the President. I thought he was going to swallow his tongue as he spits and sputtered.
"I didn't mean any disrespect and I understood if you don't want the job." He apologized.
I laughed and told him to relax. I liked that he talked to me as a person and with him not knowing who I was. I also knew he wasn't kissing my ass either. I told him I would help him. I Also told him I wanted him to prospect for the MC because we needed men like him. He told me he would be honored to prospect and well the rest is history." He says with a smile.
"That's a great story." Lyric shakes her head and laughs.
Captains phone rings and he picks it up and says okay and hangs up.
"Tori just called and said it was 11:30." He says to us.
"We'll see you later." Lyric goes to Papaw and gives him a hug and I shake his hand.
"Are you okay with going to Thorpe's Office with me?" I ask as we walk out the door and making our way down the hallway.
I know I sound like a little bitch but I'm a little scared that cunt's pregnant with my kid. She grabs my hand and gives it a squeeze.
"It's us against the world honey. We'll deal with whatever happens together." She says with love in her voice.
"I love you baby." I say to her and bend down to take her mouth. I pull back and put my forehead to hers and give a sigh.
"I love you too honey." She replies with a smile.
We leave the Mining Company and turn left onto KY-38 going west toward Harlan for about a mile and a half then turn left onto US-421 S. We go for about two and a half miles and the Miner's Hospitals is across from Denny Ray's Drive In. I look at Lyric and I tell her:
"We'll bring the kids one night to watch a movie out here. I want to have date night with you out here also." I say.
"That sounds like a wonderful idea." She replies.
I get out of the truck and walk to her door. I open it and she grabs my hand and I help her out. We walk hand in hand to the entrance of the Hospital. We walk past the Help desk towards the right wing that holds Thorpe's Office. I open the door for my woman and she walks through the door as I follow behind her. I put my hand on her back and walk up to Lori the receptionist. I tell her we're here for the noon appointment and we're waiting on Marley Devereux.
"Take a seat and Kailey will come get you in a few minutes." Lori says to us.
I look at my watch and it's 11:50. I'm about to call that cunt and tell her never to show her face in this fucking town again. She shows up with a couple of minutes to spare. When she sees my woman with me she gets a look on her face like she swallowed something sour.
"Why does she need to be here?" She says hatefully.
"That's none of your fucking business." I start to say.
Lyric puts her hand on my arm. I look at her and she gives me a look like she will take care of this situation. As much as I don't want to let her have her way I shut up and let her take over the conversation.
"We're a team in all things now. I'll support him in any and all decisions that are made. We'll discuss any and all matters that arises. Then we'll come together with a decision as a team. I'm now involved when it comes to you and that child. The test will be performed today to determine if the child is in fact Titan's. In seventy-two hours we'll know for sure. Until then we're going to proceed as if the child is my old man's. I'll be in the child's life so you need to realize that now and come to terms with it. I understand that you don't like this outcome. You thought you hit the money pot getting yourself pregnant. You thought he would make you his old lady and marry you. I realize you didn't bank on him finding me and making me his old lady or the fact that he already has children. Again our relationship has nothing to do with you. If you think even for a minute that you will try and use this child as a weapon because you didn't get your way or because of me. I'll rain down hell fire on your fucking ass. So will the whole MC. If you try to leave this town without permission. I'll have you arrested for kidnaping. If you don't put him on the Birth Certificate thinking that'll keep him from having any rights as the father. I'll call my best friend whom I might add is a Prestigious Attorney for a very large Law Firm in Colorado. She will gladly cover your ass in all kinds of legal shit. Before you think she can't do anything here. She also has her License to practice in the Commonwealth State of Kentucky. So I would advise you to take everything I've said into consideration. I'll bury your fucking ass if you're stupid enough to try me. You got me?" My woman says to Marley.
My mouth has dropped open and so has Marley's. I hear a chuckle and turn my head and see Thorpe standing there with Sis and Lori. I nod my head at them smiling. Sis tells us our room's ready. We let Marley go back to the room first. I stop Lyric and look at her. I smile and give her a kiss and I feel her melt into me.
"I love you baby. That seriously one of the sexiest bad ass things I've ever witnessed babe." I say to my bad ass woman.
"I meant ever fucking word I said." She says with a giggle.
I put my hand on her back and we start towards the exam room. Marley goes to the bathroom and pisses in a cup and comes back to the room. She hasn't said a word to either of us. She's only answering questions Thorpe has asked. He tells her that they'll be performing an ultrasound. I can tell she's excited about that.
"This is normal. They can see how far along she is through the progression of the fetus." She tells me when I looked at her to explain what the fuck is going on.
"I was with Marley over three months ago" I tell her.
