Troy chuckled. “And they didn’t fall for that sexy pout and let you off?”
“I know, right!” Danny shrugged, flirting away with Troy while Dalton chuckled and Liam scowled. “Anyway, I gotta go. You three have fun. Milo’s in all afternoon if you want to pop round. That’s an open invitation to all three of you.” Danny smiled, then waved at them before he gave Dalton a hug and walked off.
“So… a fireman, huh?” Troy deliberately kept his eyes on the firm arse of Danny walking off. “Very nice. We should so see more of him. You know, in a friendly, just looking no touching sort of way.”
“Troy!” Liam practically growled out his name, and Troy turned, smiling widely at the jealously etched all over his face.
“Hmm, I like this part of you now I know what’s going on in your head.”
“I'm getting the food.” Liam stood up, giving Troy a gentle shove as he half smiled. “I’ll get your usual, T. What do you want, Dee?”
“Erm, bacon, Brie and cranberry with a side salad, no dressing.”
“Bacon, Brie and cranberry?” Liam checked the menu, then snorted. “Right, the posh sandwich.”
Troy chuckled and Dalton stuck his tongue out. “Get three waters, Liam.”
“Right, be back soon. Don’t go chatting anyone else up while I'm gone. That goes for both of you please.”
“Oh, we won't. We’ll be ever so good.” Troy laughed hard when Liam flipped him the bird through the glass. “So, after this, do we have a date with Milo and sort our shit out so he's not worrying over you?”
“I guess we should. At least we’ll have his support when we talk to him and explain everything. I need all the friends I can while I go through this, and to be honest, I think we could all learn a lot from them. They’re the only ménage I know off, and we could rely on them for a lot to help us work things out in the future when we actually know what’s going on between us.”
Troy chuckled as he ran a hand over Dalton’s head. “Things aren’t going to be the same with us, Dalton, but if they’re okay talking, I'm okay listening. I’m hoping they don’t want to talk about things in much detail because I’ve no idea what to say other than we all want this and we’re trying to make it work.”
“I think we all feel the same way. All we can tell them is that we want this to work. Don’t worry, I'm not going there to have some massive heart to heart about us three. That’s our business and I want to keep it that way for a while, but there’s no reason we can’t all try to be civil at least. You’ll like them all, I'm sure of it. Just give Milo more time.”
Troy nodded, he wanted this out of the way as much as Dalton. Danny he could cope with having as a friend, Milo… he wasn’t too sure, but then they still had to talk about Dalton being in the force. Not that it would change anything, but Troy and Liam both had a past, and it should be made clear what Dalton was getting into before things got too far.
Milo could’ve even run off their records and was planning on telling Dalton everything. Troy didn’t want his history being discussed like that, and as he looked off into the distance, he knew before they would go to talk to Milo, he had to tell him about his dad. Troy was pretty sure that was a big red flag to Milo or other people who Dalton worked with, and he should have the right to know all about it from Troy, not in passing from other people.
“Dalton… before we go see your friends, we need to go back to the loft and talk, okay?”
Dalton dropped a few shades of colour and Troy moved closer, taking his hand.
“Honey, it’s nothing about us, well, it concerns us moving on, but it’s not like I'm saying it’s ending or anything so calm down. I just think we need to chat before we see Milo. I have this feeling he likes to know everything about everyone, and when we go see him, I'm pretty sure he’s going to have some info on us to tell you, and I'd like the chance to explain first what’s in those files.”
Dalton sighed, running his hand over his head. “Don’t tell me you're a wanted man, Troy?” He smirked, but placed his hand on Troy’s thigh. “Feel free to tell me anything, it’s not going to change how I feel or what I think of you.”
“You say that now, but it will change, Dalton.” Troy kissed him quickly.
People always changed, even if it was just to offer sad glances. Troy wanted his past with his mum out of the way, and he needed to tell him about the parole hearing. It was a big deal to Troy and he didn’t want to leave Dalton out of the loop while he and Liam got on with it. The good thing was, now he had two caring men to lean on and offer him support, and that couldn’t be a bad thing.
Chapter 40
Liam did a once over through the whole building of Aspire before he joined Troy and Dalton in the changing rooms. They were both in their shorts, reclining on one of the benches, still talking about what had gone on with Milo and Samuel that afternoon.
Liam joined them, catching the tail end of Dalton speaking about returning to the counsellor one last time, this time to discuss his new relationship. “I don’t see why you have to do that. It’s none of their business and you don’t have to declare your sexuality.”
Dalton sighed. That wasn’t the first time Liam had said it. “Yeah, I know, and Milo’s not saying I have to declare it for any legal reason, just to help me out and make sure I'm in the right place when I return to work. Plus, I’ll get support and offered advice on how to deal with any issues I get at work from either other staff or the people on the street. It’s just something I think I should do. It feels right, and I want the counsellor and Milo to be confident I'm cool with all this.”
Dalton met his eyes. “He seems to think I should be strung out and stressed to the point of breaking, but honestly, I'm more chilled out now than I was when I was living with Kelly and dealing with her having an affair. It feels like I've started again and I'm ready to go with it and see where it goes, not worry about what other people will think and how they may judge me. Yeah, it will happen, but how I deal with it is the most important thing.”
Liam stripped off his jeans, and then released a big breath. “You do what you feel is right for you and we’re going to support you through it any way we can, but I just don’t want you to feel pushed into anything.”
“I won't be pushed into anything, I promise.” Dalton stood and kissed him gently. “So, is it empty?”
“Yeah.” Liam smiled wider, then took Troy’s hand and pulled him to his feet. “I made sure Kathy left the sauna and the steam room on for us, so we’re good to go. Which do you fancy first?”
Dalton and Troy shared a look, and then smiled at him. “Steam room.”
“Okay. Shower first?” Liam nodded to the big group shower room which house five people, and they all grinned.
“Will we ever get to the steam room if we go in there?” Troy edged down his shorts, leaving them on the tiles and standing confidently naked between them, edging his fingertip down each of their chests with a coy smile on his lips.
“Maybe not,” Liam replied gruffly, his shorts already tenting at the sight of Troy’s sexy body.
Dalton was the same and he shook his head. “Can we leave it for afterwards?”
“Sure.” Liam pulled off his shorts before looking at Dalton, who sighed, pulling his own down, his cock standing up and Dalton looking embarrassed about it. “Hey,” Liam tilted his head back and Troy joined him, running his hands over Dalton’s creamy skin and kissing him. “We’re all excited, Dee. This isn’t a bad thing, it’s a good thing. Don’t be shy about how you want us, because we can't hide how much we want you.”
Liam took his hand and moved it to Troy’s cock, working it up and down and listening to Troy moaning softly. “See, and I'm the same.” He took Dalton’s other hand, enveloping his own stiff length and kissing him quickly. Dalton groaned when they both took hold of his cock, two hands working his length until it was rigid and flushed.
“We should stop,” Dalton breathed out. “I'm still over excited by this whole thing and I feel like… well, not like I did when I was a teenager because I wasn’t randy like this all the time, but I'm guessing I should have been.”
“Hmm, if you’d been anywhere near us, you would have been randy as hell.” Troy kissed him, leaving his hard cock begrudgingly. “Let’s get in that steam room.”
The heat and steam filling the small room made them all fan themselves, but as soon as they settled down on one of the mosaic tiled benches, they all sighed and laid back, letting the scented steam cascade over their still tense bodies.
“It’s been a hectic afternoon,” Troy whispered out, eyes closed, legs stretched out on the bench he was sitting on.
“Yup.” Liam lifted his legs up and looked up at Dalton sitting on the bench above them. “And not just with you.” He leaned forward and kissed Dalton’s knee.
“Yeah, but I'm glad we talked before we got to Milo’s.” Dalton sighed, running his hands over his head and the water which was already forming on his brow from the steam. “I'm glad you could share all that with me, Troy. I know how difficult it was, but now I know, I can support you better.”
