Damon's Challenge(10)

By:Sam Crescent

By the time dinner arrived, the men were ravenous. He made his way into the kitchen in time to see that the only settings at the table were for him, Damon, and the number of ranch hands working for him.

Meredith didn’t look at him once as she placed a bowl in front of him. She did the same with all the men including Damon.

“You’re not eating with us?” Andy asked.

“No, I’ve already eaten.”

She left them alone to eat. The men moaned at her cooking skills. Andy glanced down at Damon to see the other man looking to where she’d walked out. Eating without her was a strange experience. In all the years they’d been together, Meredith had sat beside him. He stared at the empty chair wishing he’d not fucked up that morning. Getting on his knees and submitting to Damon had felt right to him.

His biggest regret was not having the chance to talk with his woman first. He’d not talked with Damon either. She reappeared in the kitchen half an hour later to wash the dishes. The men left saying goodbye and wishing them all well through the storm.

Andy followed Damon out to secure the surrounding buildings and to make sure everything was in place for the storm. When they made it inside they found the house was silent once again.

Frowning, Andy called out to Meredith. The kitchen was immaculate as it always was after dinner. There was a lemon cake on the counter but no sign of his woman. He called her name again, and no response came. Ridding his feet of his boots, he walked upstairs going to his bedroom. He felt Damon behind him. The bed was made, but the dresser where Meredith kept her cosmetics was empty. Opening the wardrobe he saw her clothes were gone. Slamming the door shut he tried all the doors and came to the last bedroom at the end of the hall. The door was locked.

“Meredith, open the fucking door,” he said.

“No.” Her voice sounded hollow to him through the wood. His heart shattered, and in that instant he knew he’d hurt her more than anything. Andy knew he’d caused her pain and she’d been feeling it all day, but he never anticipated her leaving his bed.

“Andy, move out of the way,” Damon said.

Glancing toward the man beside him, he saw Damon wasn’t in the mood for arguing. Pressing a palm to the wooden door, Andy hoped he could talk some sense into her. He loved Meredith with his whole heart, and part of him wished he hadn’t submitted to Damon that morning. But Andy also knew he couldn’t deny who he was. Submitting to Damon was right. He hoped Damon could get their woman to understand.

“Meredith, it’s Damon. Will you let me in?”

“I’m tired. I need sleep. I’ll see you both in the morning.” The sound of a lamp being shut off filled the silence.

“Okay, we’ll talk soon.” Damon nodded for him to go downstairs. He wanted to argue. Never in all the years he’d been married to Meredith had she not done what he asked. This was a completely new side to her that he wasn’t even sure he liked. He went downstairs, hating the fact he was leaving her behind. This was not what he was about. Damon seemed to know what he was doing, and Andy wasn’t going to fuck up whatever he had planned.

They went to the sitting room. Damon turned the television on leaving it on low. They could both still think and talk without interruption.

“What’s going on? Why are we down here instead of up there talking to my wife?” Andy asked. Shit, she’d seen him sucking Damon’s cock. She was probably going through all kinds of shit, and it was all his fault.

“I need to talk with you before we approach Meredith. There are things you need to know before we go ahead with whatever we’re going to do,” Damon said.

Andy watched as Damon stood, pacing the living room. Sitting back, he waited for the other man to speak. Whatever was going on, he appreciated all the advice he could get. “I’m waiting.”

“Don’t take that tone with me.” Damon glared at him. “Look, you and Meredith are two different people.”

“If you’re suggesting I divorce her, then you’re in for a rude awakening. I’m not divorcing the woman I love.” The very thought made him feel sick. He was totally in love with Meredith. There was no way he was going to live without her.

You weren’t thinking that when you had your mouth on Damon’s dick!

“I’m not suggesting divorce. I never even thought about it, so don’t put words in my mouth.”

“Good. I’m in love with my wife, and I could never leave her.” They could get past this. Sucking Damon’s cock had given him a rush and being controlled by him completed some short fuse in his brain, but he didn’t need it. No, he could live without it.
