“Are you okay, babe?” he asked.
“Mmm hmm,” was all she could manage other than a smile.
“You were great, baby. I’m so proud of you,” Tag said as he knelt on the bed next to her.
Zander reappeared with a wet cloth and began to clean her body. It was something he always did after they’d had sex. She appreciated it since no one liked to be sticky from sweat or the aftereffects of sex, but more than that, she enjoyed the closeness it gave them for him to take care of her like that.
Tag spooned in behind her, kissing her shoulder and stroking her arms. When Zander joined them on the bed, he fit his back to her front and pulled one arm and one leg over his body.
“What do you think, Tessa?” Zander asked after they’d rested for a few minutes. “Do you think you will be able to play down here with us?”
She thought about it for a second then sighed. “We may need to use the blindfold to get down here for a while, but I’m okay like this. I won’t lie and say it was easy, but I can do it.”
“That’s all we ask, baby girl. Just try and give it a chance,” Tag said.
“Had you ever played like this at all before?” Zander asked.
“No. Not really. I know about it because I read, so I know what to expect as long as it follows the books, but not everything is going to do that, is it,” she said.
“I doubt it. I’ve never read any of those romance books, so I can’t say for sure, but I would think there are parts of it that gloss over some of the harder stuff,” Zander said. “If we never get to any of the harder stuff, that’s fine, Tessa. All I care about is making you happy.”
“I want you both to be happy, too, Zander. This is part of who you and Tag are. If I can’t handle it, eventually you’ll get antsy and resent that I’m holding you back. I want to be what you need,” she admitted.
“You already are, kitten. We’ll explore a little more every time we play and find what your limits are. If it doesn’t feel good to you, then it won’t feel right to us either,” Zander told her.
“Part of the enjoyment we get out of this is seeing you fall apart with pleasure and knowing we had a part in it. We don’t want to do anything that isn’t going to bring all three of us satisfaction. We love you, Tessa. I love you, more and more each day. I can’t imagine what life would be like without you in it. Don’t ever leave us, babe. Talk to us, tell us if we fuck up, because you know I’m going to do it as sure as the sun rises each morning,” Tag told her.
“I love you, too, Tag. I love you both, Zander. I don’t ever want to lose you two either.” She tightened her arm around Zander’s shoulder and buried her face against his neck.
“Marry us,” Tag blurted out.
Zander started laughing. “You were supposed to wait until the ring was ready, you big oaf.”
“I couldn’t wait. I want to hear her say yes so I can relax,” Tag said.
Tessa had gone still as they fussed back and forth. They wanted to marry her? She hadn’t expected that so soon. She thought they would want to spend time with her first.
“Well? Since he asked, you might as well give us your answer now. We’ll do it all again when the ring is ready,” Zander told her before turning over to face her.
She stared into his eyes then looked over her shoulder at where Tag had lifted up on one elbow to stare down at her. She couldn’t stop the tears that filled her eyes from sliding down he cheeks.
“Yes. I’ll marry you both. I love you. I can’t believe you really want to marry me,” she sobbed.
“Why are you crying?” Tag demanded with a frown. “I thought it would make you happy.”
“It does. I am happy.”
“Women cry when they’re happy, man. You know that.” Zander wiped her tears with his fingers. Then he kissed her. “There. Sealed with a kiss.”
“My turn,” Tag said. He leaned over and kissed her just as thoroughly as Zander had.
“With these kisses we claim you as our woman, our submissive, and our life. We promise to take care of you and keep you safe for the rest of you our lives. Tessa,” Zander said. “We’ll never let you go now. You belong to us and we belong to you.”
“Forever,” she said in a teary voice.
“Forever,” Tag and Zander agreed together.
