Biker's Baby Girl(43)

By:Jordan Silver

I had to think fast because shit sounded like it was calming down around us and we’d already been here more than ten minutes already. I put shit together in my head and realized she was talking about when I’d pulled back for baby girl’s sake. “So after it seemed like I lost interest in her well being, they lost interest too.”

“It looked like it but we didn’t know for sure, they’d already given us all that money…” She broke off when she realized what she’d said.

“You took money for her?”

“Dude, female.” Travis shook his head at me when I put my gun to her head.

“I give a fuck.” He just shrugged his shoulders so I guess it wasn’t that big of a deal to him after all.

“We didn’t feel like we had a choice.” She was talking fast now, her eyes trying to see the hard cold steel at her temple.

“So after they stopped showing an interest Sal decided to pay her nightly visits in her room after she fell asleep?” Bitch didn’t have an answer for that.

“My friend here’s right, you’re a female that’s the only reason I’m gonna let you breathe, but you still have to pay.” I took half her ear off with my Bowie. I did that shit quick so by the time she felt it, I was already moving onto the next one.

“Get her out of here.” I passed her off to Travis and took the cowering Sal from him. I didn’t need any eyes for this one, and though his dad was a known gangster, I didn’t know him, wasn’t about to commit a crime in front of him no how.

“Told you I’d be back.” I sneered in the pervert’s face.

“If she told you I did anything she’s lying, I never…” He got a punch in the gut for his trouble. “Tell me the fucking truth. I know Khalil he’d deal with you more than her since the sick fuck has a deep-rooted hatred of women. Who when and where?”

It seemed to take a minute for him to switch gears once he realized I wasn’t asking him about his perverted shit. I didn’t need to go over that shit again, but I needed to know about the other.

“Why should I tell you anything after what you did to me?” He actually sulked like a little fucking boy, making me sick to my stomach. “Because if you don’t you’re dead.” At least that gave him hope that he might make it out alive.

Jake came upon us then, and the fucker got brave. Probably thought I wouldn’t off him in front of an audience, or maybe he smelt cop on Jake. Whatever the fuck his issue was, he decided to go full fucking fuckwit.

“She caught a good price, who knows what the desert rat who bought her was gonna do with her? He sure didn’t mind paying out the nose. But then you stopped coming around and the calls stopped just like Dee said.

We figured we were gonna have to give all that money back but we’d already spent it. We were gonna make a run for it. But then they stopped calling too and we were in the clear, or so we thought.” He was sulking again.

“Is that when you started going into her room?” For some reason he balked at this, he had no problem telling me he’d sold her, but he wouldn’t admit to this; maybe because the memory of me ringing off his dick was still fresh in his mind. Then his eyes shifted to Jake’s and he forgot again.

“So what if I did, wasn’t no harm in it, nothing wrong with looking is there?” My hand twitched and I almost did him then but I needed more. “When was the last time you heard from them?”

“Not long after your little visit. It’s like they were watching and waiting. How were we to know they still wanted her? And I was just working my way up to getting a taste.” The fucker licked his lips and seemed to have gone off into his own little world after saying that shit.

“Fuck this shit.” I grabbed him by the neck and started dragging. He came back to his senses right fucking quick then but it was already too late. Not that it would’ve made a difference whatever he said. He was dead the second he first walked into her room.

“Hey what’re you doing? Hey you stop him.” He started screaming bloody murder as I dragged him by his neck and carted him towards the edge of the mountain.

“You sold her you fuck and then you violated her, a scared young girl that I left in your care.” I tossed his ass over the side and walked away before the echoes of his scream died.

“I’m not doing a fucking day for him Jake so don’t even fucking start.” Jake I know, he understands the creed. I can take my chances with him because I know if it were his woman or one of his kids he’d do the fucking same.

He clapped me on the shoulder and we headed back towards the others. Blade gave us both the once over as soon as we came into view and went back to hogtieing the assholes that we’d found hiding out up here, at least the ones that hadn’t escaped.

“You done?” Law asked as I came back into the clearing. I nodded and kept moving, my only interest in getting the fuck down off the mountain and back to her. “Torch it.” Law again gave the order and the night sky went up in flames.

An old man, supposedly the leader of the hate brigade was making noise about calling the sheriff until Jake whispered something in his ear. That shit seemed to quiet him down and the rest of us headed down the mountain. I’ll let Law and his crew, deal with the locals. I’m done.

We all gathered in Law’s yard after he’d done something with the prisoners. We’d worked off some steam, but we all knew we had barely scratched the surface. It was a given that we weren’t done.

“What now? I have to get home to my woman.” Lyon was the first to break the silence.

“Well, we still have a shitload of work to do on our end. Stockton I’m guessing wasn’t a font of information?” Lo looked at Ty and Lyon, neither of which was looking too guilty.

“And this shit is in Georgia you say? I guess I could pack up the wife and kids for a little road trip. Just a heads-up, I’m giving you all one week to come up with some kinda plan or I’m heading to the desert. Law give these boys my number, I gotta go.” He walked away with his boys and the Travis dude like he hadn’t just done whatever the fuck it was that I was pretty sure he’d done.

“Would he really go after the Porters?” Logan asked Law and I as we watched Lyon and his crew head out in the dead of night.

“He’s already halfway there brother. If we don’t want him to handle this shit his way we’d better get the fuck on and quick. We still got those kids to find.” Fuck, the sheer volume of it was starting to give me a headache.

Cord, who was the only one not to join us on the raid joined us now. Apparently he had stayed back to keep watch over the women, especially his who had been featured. From what little I’d gathered he hadn’t quite made her his yet, but I’m pretty sure it won’t be long now, not the way he’s been sniffing around her since they got here.

“You get anything out of him?” He asked his brothers in arms, who pretty much shook their heads no.

“Then we’ve got work.” He turned and headed back the way he’d came. Talkative motherfucker.

Epilogue

Cord

I watched over her as she slept with my heart in turmoil. How had we missed it? How had we not put it together? We’d only just received the results of her parentage the day before, but somehow it appeared the Fox had known all along. How?

She was even more precious to me now because of the blood that ran through her veins. She was a part of the man who had shaped me and whatever I’d felt for her before was multiplied because of that fact.

We’d terminated Stockton, or Ty and his new pal had. I found a smile at the thought of our new partner in crime. For someone who’d never served Lyon sure was a militant fuck. But I won’t be the one to tell him that since he tends to take umbrage whenever we mention it.

We had formed a tight bond in the days we’d been there at Law’s and that was good. Instead of just us we now had a whole network of brothers joined together to deal with what had become more than our little headache.

We’d found out a lot more in the last few days since coming back home. More than we’d known even with all our connections and the technology we had at our fingertips. Travis’ dad the mobster was a font of information and a very funny guy, for someone who’d been running his own crime syndicate for over four decades.

They were all headed this way in a few weeks once they’d taken care of their own shit. It seems they were all interested in putting an end to whatever the fuck was going on here.

We’d put Stockton’s place on lock down after running his men out of town. Lo had used his connection to the old man to pull that one off. All we needed now was to spread a net and catch who the fuck ever was involved.

Ty was under the impression that we needed to keep an eye on Lyon so that he didn’t go after the Porters on his own. We needed to get more out of them than we were able to glean from Stockton and that guy didn’t have the patience for conversation when it came to his family.

Not that I blamed him. I looked at her again from my place in the chair that I’d drawn up next to the bed. Someone was after her, the thought sent rage racing through my veins.
