Alpha's Embrace 2(8)

“You did lock the door, but you forgot to close the window,” Daniel said as he entered the room closely followed by James.

Now Lyanne felt uncomfortable sat naked apart from her shirt in front of three virtual strangers and Darian.

“You’re invading my space,” Darian yelled, as he threw his clothes back on.

“And you’re endangering us all by what you’re about to do, you’ve had your fun now leave it Darian,” said James looking at Lyanne with disgust.

“Lyanne is not just a bit of fun, you’ll respect her and me,” now Darian was furious.

“Why did you come back here? Why?” asked Lisa, as she scowled straight at Lyanne with her pale green eyes flaming with hate.

“She came back to be with me where she belongs,” said Darian.

Lyanne liked him being domineering but she didn’t really belong to anyone. She sat in silence though as she didn’t wish to be caught up in whatever was going on between the trio.

“She needs to leave Darian, she’s upsetting our dynamics,” James shouted. He started to move toward Lyanne, Darian leapt over her and stood in front of her as she sat on the floor wrapped in the duvet trying her best to hide.

“You’ll all leave now. Lyanne’s going nowhere, but you are,” as Darian was staring at James and Daniel he didn’t spot Lisa who was creeping up behind Lyanne, but Lyanne sensed her presence and turned. For that split second, Lisa’s eyes weren’t pale green anymore they’d changed to an amber shade and looked wild. She screamed and Darian turned around, he struck Lisa and she fell beside Lyanne. James and Daniel ran over to her and helped her up Lyanne was shocked, Darian had hit a girl. He looked at Lyanne, his eyes weren’t the same warm hazel eyes she knew, and loved, they looked wild now.

“This is far from over Darian,” said James as the three of them left.

Chapter 5

Lyanne clambered up and started getting dressed, her head was spinning. She’d seen a different side to Darian, a side that shocked her, a side she didn’t like.

“This is not the way I planned this Lyanne, I’m so sorry you had to be a part of all of this,” he said.

“What the fuck Darian? I’ve no idea what’s going on with you three, but you don’t hit a girl,” Lyanne was hurt, confused and angry.

“She’s not a normal girl.”

Lyanne glared at him, “God, just stop with your stupid fucking excuses. Of course she’s a girl, and a small one at that with no way of defending herself, and you hit her. What sort of a man does that make you?”

Darian looked at her, with his warm hazel eyes back to normal now, “Lyanne, you need to sit down and listen to me please.”

“What if I don’t are you going to hit me?”

“Never, I will never lay a finger on you or let anybody else touch you. I was protecting you from Lisa.”

“I’ve heard it all now,” Lyanne laughed. “What was she going to do fucking attack me?”

Darian sat down on the couch and waited for Lyanne to join him, she kept her distance.

“In a word Lyanne, yes. Lisa was going to attack you and this is what I’ve been trying to tell you. We’re not what we seem, not how we appear to you or other humans,” he looked into her dark green eyes.

“So now you’re not even human, so I’ve just trusted you completely and given myself to you and you’re a fucking alien,” Lyanne was shouting and felt so hurt.

Darian chuckled at the mention of aliens.

“Really, you’re laughing now?”

“Sorry Lyanne, sorry no I’m most definitely not an alien. What I am is a wolf. A shape shifter. James, Daniel and Lisa are my pack,” he said.

Lyanne looked at him with complete bewilderment. Even though what he’d just said was totally absurd in her head, his revelation didn’t come as a massive surprise to her. She remembered how the three had acted in Darian’s presence, how they seemed to cower away when he was angry. It also explained why she felt so safe around him and why she was so attracted to him, she loved animals. Lyanne worked out that his physical strength came from his wolf too, and this was why he never seemed to be out of breath.

“So that’s how you knew when I was back here, you sensed me?” she asked, not believing how well she was taking the news that the sexy man who she’d just given her virginity to was actually a wolf.

“Yes I sensed you and smelt your scent, your own personal aroma,” he said, looking uncomfortable as he spoke.
