He hands me the caramel and I smile at him, Drake gets the minty one and Jax the dark chocolate.

“You okay Lexi?” Jax asks me.

“No…I’m not okay, but I feel a little better than I was before now that you two are here.” I smile looking back and forth between the two of them.

We eat our ice cream and I tell them about what happened with Georgina and how Greg took me because she was shouting at me and I told him I wanted to get away. They seem to believe me. We finish our ice creams and Jax collects them and takes them to the kitchen.

“He was really worried when he found out Greg had you, I’ve never seen him so angry.” Drake says to me when we are alone.

“Yeah he doesn’t like Greg that much.”

“Nah he was worried about you Lex, I know how he feels about you and I don’t mind…it just means that at least when I’m not around, there will be someone else to look after you babe. I trust you guys but I just wanted you to know that you’re not alone. You have all of us and we love you so much.” He says as he gives me a gentle kiss.

“Thank you Drake, I love you more than you know…” I whisper against his lips.

“What about me?” Jax says dramatically.

“Love you too Jax.” I say rolling my eyes and smiling at him.

“Yeah man, we love you too.” Drake says smacking his back. “Let’s get to bed.”

I look over to where Jax is taking his hoody off and getting in bed beside me. Drake is on the other side of me, not fazed that they both will be sharing a bed.

“Wait, What? You’re both sleeping here?” I ask surprised.

“Yep.” Drake says shortly.

“We don’t want you running away from us again.” Jax says as he gets comfortable.

Drake puts the lamp off and pulls me against his chest so he’s spooning me. Jax is facing me, he looks at Drakes hand that holds me near my breast and his eyebrows crease. I mouth the words “Sorry.” He shakes his head gently then mouths back, “it’s okay.” Then he smiles at me.

Five minutes later and I start to hear Drake behind me snore gently. I look at Jax and he’s still awake just staring at Drakes hand. Jax’s hand is near his chest clenched in a fist, I gently pick it up and it relaxes under my touch, I pull it under my neck so I can cuddle it, and a smile spreads across his face.

I mouth the words, “I love you…” and he grins wider showing me teeth and dimples. He mouths back, “I love you more…”

I lift my fingers and kiss the tips of them then place the tips of my fingers against his soft luscious lips. He kisses my fingers gently then the hand that is near my neck moves and he brings his fingers to my lips. I hold his hand and kiss the palm of it then use my other hand to lace my fingers with his and cuddle my face against his hand. I lift the arm that was leaning against Drakes arm that’s holding me and place my hand gently on Jax’s peck and move it till I can feel his heart beating. His heart beat fastens and I feel him shiver under my cold touch. I smile at him then close my eyes happier that I can feel his beating heart soothe me.

CHAPTER 28:

I wake up in the morning and the boys are gone. I use the bathroom and take a quick shower. I walk over to the bed and make it. Looking out the window to see what day it is and see it’s another rainy day. Fits the mood I guess…

I hear my door open and Ronny is standing there. “Come! I’m taking you out for breakfast hun!” she says gleefully, I know she is trying to cheer me up and I appreciate the effort, so I agree.

I walk up to her and give her a tight hug, she doesn’t expect it because I feel her freeze but she hugs me tightly back after a few seconds.

“Thanks for everything Ron, I love you.” I mutter against her shoulder.

“Love you too babes. I’ll always be here for you, you’re my sister.” She lets me go and winks at me.

She leads me down a staircase before she stops and says. “Alpha wants to speak to you before we go, he’s in his office. This way…” she leads me to another staircase which leads to the other side of the house that I haven’t seen yet.

We stop at two large doors and then the doors open revealing a smiling Jax.

“Come in Lex.” He pulls me in and hugs me. The room looks like a large library with two levels and a staircase leading to the upper levels on either side of me. Bookshelves cover the walls of the room. I see Frankie sitting behind a large desk; he sees me come in and then stands up. Jax leads me to a large brown leather lounge area and he sits next to me taking my hand in his and placing it on his lap.

Frankie says as he sits opposite us on the large single leather chair, “Morning my dear, how are you?”
