“I don’t know…I met James and he already had you, you were only two days old. He told me that you weren’t his biological daughter and that he was protecting you. His previous pack, the Fort Hills Pack, told him to take you and protect you. He was to father you and that’s what he did…we raised you together. He didn’t tell me anything about it because he said it was dangerous if anyone knew.” She says dejectedly wiping the tears away.

I leave her standing there and walk to my room. I pick up a duffel bag and pack some stuff, then head to my car with Ronny running behind me. Georgina is back on the couch sobbing with her face in her hands, I stop and look at her and shake my head.

“Goodbye Georgina.” I say as I walk out the door, before I make it outside I see her get up and start calling my name, calling me back but Frankie stops her from following me. I walk to my car as the tears start falling. Ronny runs after me and jumps into the passenger seat.

“I’m coming with you, Amber will fetch my car. You can stay with us Lex.” She says as I drive around to the pack house. She takes my bags up to the room I stayed in when I was injured.

“There’s clean towels in your bathroom, go shower Lex it’ll make you feel better.” She says as she leaves and closes the door behind her. I have a warm shower and change into a pair of warm pajamas then head for my bed. The shower didn’t help much but at least my body is clean. I find my phone sitting on the bedside table when I switch the lamp off, I left it in Ronny’s car when we went to the beach so she obviously put it there for me.

I text the twins, I tell them goodnight and that I miss them. I don’t text Johnny or Alex , I just can’t deal with them or the fact that they have been lying to me all this time. It’s past midnight so I’ll probably get replies in the morning. I climb on top of the covers not having the energy to even pull the thick blankets over me.





I hear my phone ring and it’s a message.





TALON at 12:37am: Angel! Haven’t heard from u since yesterday! We miss you! Tyler wants to know when u coming home?





LEXI at 12:39am: Hey guys, I miss you so much! I was thinking bout staying here for the rest of next week but I dono anymore. I will let you guys know when I know. I love you guy’s xxx Goodnight.





TALON at 12:40 am: Love you too Angel. Goodnight xx Chat to you tomorrow.





TYLER at 12:40am: I love you too. I miss you…sweet dreams





I smile at Tyler and Talon’s reply. Talon is the hard one, he’s the one that doesn’t express his feelings with words and like me , he doesn’t like to show emotion but every now and then with small gestures I can see how much he cares for me.

Tyler on the other hand is the most sweet, gentle, kind and loving person you will ever meet. He is a big cuddly bear and he tells you exactly how he feels and he loves to show you too.

I put my phone back on the night stand and cuddle the pillow close to me as I feel the sadness and loneliness take over me. The room is dark and quiet apart from the light coming through the window and the sounds of my sobs. I hear my door open and close then hear heavy footsteps walking towards me. My bed moves then I’m being pulled into warm arms surrounded by that smell I love so much.

“Shhh Lexi… it’s okay I’m here for you. Nothing happened between Chelsea and I, I promise. I was showering and when I got out she was in my room, she tried but I just pushed her away. She lied about me saying I was single, I told her I was with you and I only wanted you…please believe me Lex.” He begs through a hoarse voice.

He’s telling me the truth I can feel it and I guess even if he’s lying I would still want his affection right now to take my mind off of everything that’s happened tonight. I pull him closer to me, snuggle into him and when he feels me hold him tighter he pulls me onto his lap so I’m straddling him and he holds me close, his hand rubbing my back while my face is snuggled in the crook of his neck.

“I love you Lex, I would never cheat on you babe.” He says as he turns and kisses under my ear.

“Love you too Drake.” I say through snuffles. I lift my head, kiss his cheek and climb off his lap; he looks at me with so much love as he wipes away the tears from my eyes. He puts the bedside light on when there is a knock on the door; Jax pops his head in and smiles when he sees me.

“I’ve got ice-cream!” He announces with a big smile.

“Come join us bro.” Drake says from beside me.

Jax comes in wearing a hoody with his flannel pajama pants, I can see he has no shirt on underneath as he climbs in the other side of me holding three tubs of ice cream with three spoons.He climbs under the covers and sits close to me.
