Aidan (Devil's Stepbrothers MC)(23)

"Aidan, I wanted to do it," she moaned and then berated herself for  sounding like a whiney 5 year old. Damn it, she'd wanted to fuck him for  once. Drain him of his essence without him having to help.

"Unf …  I can't wait, baby. I want you to come with me now." He was  setting a demanding pace almost like he was using her as his own  personal fuck toy. Somewhere in the middle of al that he leaned down and  bit her nipple, and she went from 0 to 100 in terms of how she could  get off. He was lifting his ass of the chair and holding her to him as  he grunted and moaned his way to completion. Aidan wasn't silent like he  was normally after sex, and the aftershocks that seemed to rack his  body was affecting her as well. He licked her other nipple as he helped  her stand and get off his dick.

She moved over to the sink to get something to clean him off with. The  sexiness of the moment was dimmed a bit by his declaration that he was  not in this to win this but to make sure she was okay before he moved  on. Lorna looked over to find Aidan getting rid of the condom he'd  filled up. When he saw her watching him he smiled at her and came to the  sink. She handed him a warm cloth, and then she went to sit at the  table.

"So, has my cowgirl worked up an appetite?" He moved to sit next to her as they both moved to fix their plates.

"Yes you did a great job helping me with that." Did that come off kind  of pouty? She was trying to keep it at bay, but damn it for not really  working.

"Me? That was all you, darlin'." He was so good to her. That she wanted  to be the one to get him off must have come across to him, and he wanted  to make sure she was pleased. That had to be what was going on, and she  wanted to kiss him for it.

She knew he had to feel the tension in the air because although she'd  been a master at hiding her feelings in the past, it didn't seem like it  was working the way it should this time. Her future was so uncertain  and what she did know wasn't positive. It was possible she was looking  at Aidan to save her from an existence that wasn't going to be pleasant,  and she should probably start trying to think of some options for  herself. It was funny because she was never one to want people to think  or plan for her, but with Aidan she'd fallen right in line for that.

"I don't think so. It was your hands slamming me down on your cock, and  it was your bite that send my body to the next level." She watched him  as he came up with an answer for that one.

"The plan to seduce me at the table and the directions you gave me got  me all wound up but that's not taking anything from you. You did all  that. You made up the fun and brought the sexy. That was all you. I was  just the beneficiary that got too excited and had to do something with  my hands." He was able to pack away a lot of food, and for that she was  glad. She knew he had to be hungry for more than just, food and she  liked satisfying him.

"Thanks Aidan. Whether that is the truth or not I'm going to hold on to it for now."

"Good idea," he said as he dug back into his food like a man who'd not eaten …  ever.

"I think after dinner I want to talk to Lucca and figure out what is  going on here. I need to think about my next move." She knew that Aidan  didn't want her involved, but this was her life too, and she wasn't  going to sit by and let others plan it out for her.

"That's probably a good idea. Then you can get a feel of how your family  is doing. That's bound to make you feel good. Plus he wanted to talk to  you anyway. I forgot to mention that when you came out on the balcony.  You made me think of other things, and my mind slipped away from me."

She looked over at him at the same time he looked at her.

"What?" He asked when it was apparent he didn't know why she was staring at him.

"I just realized that you don't have any family to call about your  situation, and I got really sad for you. My family is fucked up, and I'm  hoping they don't have plans to kill me, but they're mine and at the  end of the day I know they wouldn't hurt me …  too much," she said looking  at the lonely man he must be.

"I've got the brotherhood behind me, so don't you worry. You are going  to make it out of this with flying colors." He didn't look sad or  concerned, and that made her feel better, but she wondered if he was  just good at holding those emotions back or if he really gave no fucks  about not having any biological family available to comfort him.

"Still you don't have any word about what's going on in the streets?"  She thought she'd change the subject because she didn't want it to be  uncomfortable for him. He was always trying to soothe her and make her  feel good, and here she was throwing in his face how he didn't have  anyone to help him.

"I've got lots of words but no resolutions, and that's what I need right now."

He was pretty quiet throughout the rest of the meal, and she wondered  what was going on in his mind. After the meal was over, he helped her  clean the table and put the food away. She thought she may just watch a  movie while he did whatever, but when she settled herself on the couch,  he returned with the phone.

"Hello," she said knowing who it probably was but not ready to talk until she was sure.

"Hey Halfpint," Lucca said from the other end of the phone. She had  loved Little House on the Prairie when she was little, and he was never  going to let her forget that.

"One day, you are going to stop calling me that." She said in a mockingly serious tone.

"Maybe, but today isn't that day. How have you been? You know that  everyone is looking for you." Lucca was rarely serious when it came to  her, but it seemed like he was making an exception since the situation  was dire. The whiplash she almost got from him going from playful to  serious made her nauseated, but she knew that this was the main reason  for the call.

"I know. How is Papa doing? What is he saying?" She wasn't really sure  she wanted to know what he was saying, but she was a big girl, and she  was going to have to find a way to make this right.

"Well you know your Papa... he's mad as hell and not talking rationally.  I won't even go into what he's saying because I don't believe he means  it." Lucca cleared his throat, and that's when she knew it was bad. For  whatever reason, he could say whatever he wanted to almost anyone he  wanted, but if he had to lie to her, it was like the words got stuck in  his throat. It was a great tell because there were times when he hid so  much under his pleasant demeanor and sunny disposition that she had a  hard time telling fact from fiction.

There was a short silence that she didn't know how to fill because she  was suddenly terrified. Her father was one of the scariest men she'd  ever known, but she'd never been frightened of him until right now. The  anger and hostility had never been directed toward her and now that it  was, she was she felt like her world was upside down.

"Lorna?" Lucca's voice pulled her back into the conversation.

"Yeah?" She sounded like they did when she'd got them lost on an  expedition into the forest when they were kids. Lucca had come along and  joined her, but when she had to admit that they were lost, she cried  like a baby. He had been looking at his compass and led them right back  to where they were supposed to be. It was then that she knew that he  would be the perfect leader, but she hoped her father hadn't figured  that out because she didn't want him to be in danger.

"You know that bracelet you have that I gave you a few years back?"

"The pink diamond one right? The one that never leaves my wrist? The one  that cost over a million dollars? That bracelet?" She knew what he was  talking about, but she was still lost in the fog of fear and wanted to  show him that she still had some good spirits about her.

"I need you to give it to me for a bit. Your father doesn't think you're  alive, and I told him that you were, but he needs proof. Everyone knows  that you never take it off." He sounded like he'd tried to think that  through, but the plan sounded flawed to her ears.

"Wouldn't that tell him that I was dead? If I never take it off and it's  off now, what's the correlation?" She didn't want to give up her  bracelet but more than that she didn't see what that would do.

"You could write a letter with it. That might give him the proof he  wants and needs." Lucca seemed like he was just trying to do his best,  so she decided not to give him a hard time.

"How would I get it to you?" She wasn't sure what this was, but it  didn't feel right to her. Lucca hadn't ever directed her the wrong way,  so she wouldn't dispute what he was asking of her. It could have been  that there was just so many doubts in her mind, it was making her leery  of everything and everyone.

"Give the phone to Aidan. I'll talk to him about how we can make the  switch. I'm going to ask that you don't come with him because that would  be too risky. Don't argue with him about it, and don't try to do any  dumb stunts. This isn't like when we were kids going off on a grand  adventure. There are real guns involved, and I would roll around in my  grave if I knew something happened to you. Please know that I love you  and I can't wait to see you again."
