A Mate for York(54)
Cassidy giggled, the sound quickly turned into a drawn out moan as he sucked on her little bud of nerves. Her fingers dug into his shoulders. He pulled her legs over his shoulders feeling how her toes curled into his back as he continued to suckle on her.
Rainbows and sunshine. Her taste was enough to drive him to distraction. He couldn’t help the rumble of satisfaction that moved through him. It didn’t take long and Cassidy threw her head back, she grasped the sides of his head with both her hands and gave a raw growl as her back bowed off the bed. In short, she came hard and he loved every drawn out second. Every mewl, every whimper, every pant.
He longed to wake her up like this after a night…together. After they had actually slept wrapped up in each other for the whole night. He longed to slip between her thighs and make her come. Hearing her loud, let-her-rip groan would be the best good morning he could ever hope for. Fuck, any good morning with Cass would be bliss.
All this sneaking around was irritating the crap out of him.
With one sweeping move, Cassidy pulled her dress over her head. “I’m ready for you, big boy.”
“I’m not a boy.”
“No, but you are damned big.” She looked at him from under her lashes. Fuck but she was something.
“No arguments there, gorgeous. Damn…” he let his eyes track the length of her body. “Have I told you today how sexy you are?”
She shook her head, her lip dented as she bit down on it.
“You…my gorgeous female…are so utterly fuckable, it’s scary. You might want to call Mrs. Simmons and let her know that you’ve spotted a big one.”
Cassidy giggled while grabbing the bottom of his shirt and yanking it up. He helped her out by lifting his arms. Then she leaned back, her eyes were wide and focused on his chest. “Oh wow!” She gasped. “That’s seriously hot.”
For a second York wasn’t sure what she was talking about, then he looked down. His skin was still a faint pink under the ink. “Oh, this old thing.” He tried to play it down, leaning forward to take back her lips but she backed up so that he couldn’t reach her.
“It’s really pretty…” She gushed.
“I hope fucking not,” he growled. “Sexy, hot would be fine…pretty…” He snorted. “No…just no.”
“Swirling and twirling lines…it looks a bit like an abstract dragon. It is pretty.” Her lush mouth pulled into a smile. “In a sexy, hot kind of way.”
“When you put it like that…” He reached forward, wanting to suck on her bottom lip. She had a mouth made for wicked things.
“What made you get it? I didn’t even know vampires could have tattoos.” Her brow pulled together and the most adorable lines marred her forehead.
York shrugged. “All it takes is a silver needle.” His gaze was focused on her mouth…make that her nipples. Fucking perfection. Wide areolas and swollen nubs that beckoned him to suck on them and nip at them.
“Ow!! Must have hurt.” Her eyes widened. “Let me kiss you better.” She kissed him over the tat, somewhere just above his heart. Her soft lips felt like heaven against his skin. “What made you get it?”
“Nothing special.” He answered, meaning every word. He really didn’t want to have this conversation.
Cassidy frowned. “Why would you get a tattoo for no reason? Go through all that for nothing”
York lifted his brows. “It’s nothing. We all got one.” He dropped down, taking her nipple into his mouth praying that she would drop it.
Cassidy shrugged him off. “Oh…who’s everyone?”
“The guys.” Leave it the fuck alone.
“Guys?” Her frown deepened.
“The ten of us.” He couldn’t say the words.
She sucked in a labored breath and he watched her shut down. Her eyes flashed away from his. Her arm came up across her chest and her mouth tensed. “As in, the rest of the guys enrolled in the breeding program?” It wasn’t a question really, but rather a statement.
“Yeah...the dating program.” It was his turn to look away.
She let out a shuddery breath. “This isn’t…I’m not sure…” Her face took on a pinched look and her eyes still wouldn’t meet his.
Fuck!
This was it. The moment he had been dreading. York clenched his teeth so hard that he tasted blood and reveled in it. He’d hurt her…again. At least this proved that she had feelings for him. The knowledge gave him strength for what he was about to propose. She had to buy into it or he didn’t know what he would do.
“What the hell are we doing?” She finally blurted. “I should’ve left town days ago. I mean, are you sleeping with them as well as me?” She made a freaked out noise. “No, don’t answer that. It’s none of my business.” Her eyes were wide and her lip quivered. A tear tracked down her cheek. He heard her mutter something about the lighting which made no sense to him.
